The Firebird in particular was tricky and something many mechanics can't handle since it is a restomod with a modern corvette engine. Jacob was able to troubleshoot and work his way through a corroded tank/fuel pump and clogged inline fuel filter. We replaced those parts with him informing me of his thought process at every step. I've had this car hobby for 30+ years now and have gotten to know 20+ mechanics over the years with approximately 5 in the Austin area and I will continue to call Jacob/Adroit first for any future problems. The fact that his pricing is fair and he is mobile is a real bonus, and my understanding is for more complex jobs he can take your car into his personal garage. Just please be aware that because he is mobile and it's just him and Marcelo right now, you need to give him some flexibility on scheduling. I assure you, Adroit is worth the wait.

Had to find a diesel mechanic that was good, could fit us in, and wouldn't break the bank. Dependable Diesel was recommended to us by a fellow camper. Took our truck there. They diagnosed the issue as a bad DPF sensor along with finding a couple other items that would eventually cause us some issues if not addressed. Unfortunately, we only had the truck and the thought of being stranded at the shop all day waiting for my truck to be fixed was not good. Luckily, they had a loaner car that they offered to us. That was a life saver as we were about 20 miles from the shop. Needless to say, they were able to get my truck fixed in a couple of hours and were able to send us on our way.
