This restaurant never disappoints! They are consistent and continue to be so over the years. I love to bring newbies to this location for a fabulous dining experience! My sorority sisters really enjoyed all the food. We had appetizers, entrees and desserts! Went on a Thursday night and this place was bumping! A lot of people but still got sat for a table of 4 right away. Staff is always super nice and place is usually clean. I ordered the breaded chicken tenders and WOW! They were perfection I am very picky about my chicken and that was very delicious and cooked perfectly. The onion rings were alright to my liking but still you can tell homemade and made small like I like it. Will be back for sure! read more

I heard great things about their carrot cake, so I suggested going here on a Saturday evening with a couple friends. Sadly, it was not a great experience. First, it took literally an hour just to get drinks and my salad. The best part of meal was the homemade croutons in said salad: they were so much better than the prepackaged processed stuff you find at the grocery store. For my entree, I got the ribs, which were run of the mill, on par with the ribs from Kroger's deli section, except the one at Kroger is around $9.99 for a whole slab vs $14.99 here for half a slab. Our waitress said the rice (one of the options for sides) was pilaf, so I chose that. But when the rice arrived, it was plain white rice lightly seasoned with garlic salt. It was also slightly undercooked (I.e. a bit crunchy in the middle). When I asked about it, the waitress said "Oh, I guess they changed it". And the biggest disappointment is that they out of carrot cake. Maybe this rating would be higher if I was able to try that. read more

Great place for lunch. Take out is trash. Went there for lunch earlier this week. Has an amazing waitress who did everything five stars. Food was fresh hot and amazing. Rest of my family wanted to try it, stopped and got takeout a couple couple days later. It was like I was out at a different place. no one inside took over 10 minutes to pick up my order even though there was no one else in line waiting at the bar. I was ignored by multiple staff. I finally got someone. It was my food that had been sitting there since before I arrive. So I knew it would already be cold. Since it was a small order for two people, I assumed it would be. I was wrong. They forgot the oyster crackers for my wife's chili that they normally give us, and they forgot my truffle fries. They reward for patronizing business is not getting everything you ordered, cold food, and crappy service. Better off, making a sandwich in your fridge. read more

Took my last trip to Brady's today. Never again. My son and I got 6 (small) wings a piece and ended up to be $31 for 12 small wings. That's crazy!!! Joyce was waiting on us tonight, seemed nice enough. We asked for a minute to order. She took off. She was taking her time to come back, seemed like 8+ minutes, she took the dessert order for the table behind us but didn't bother to take our food order. She went by us two more times, didn't take our order. She's been in the kitchen for almost 5 minutes. Our menus have on the booth seat behind us too. I flagged down a manager to get us our bill for our water, he said something to Joyce and then she finally came over. She must have been too busy to with the large table to care. I was too hungry and crabby to wait. No nachos, no waffle or Parmesan truffle fries and no key lime pie and no lava cake for us. read more

This bar/restaurant is in a strip mall and my perception was that it was small, but it is fairly spacious inside. We were led to the back room and seated. Our waitress greeted us pleasantly. I asked for a beer menu and she listed the draft beers from memory. We each ordered an Octoberfest. She brought those out and took our appetizer order. We got a reuben egg roll. When she brought the appetizer, she took our entree order. Be prepared, it is just one egg roll, on top of some french fries, and we split it. Delicious! We would have loved 2 in the order, but the flavors were perfect. She returned and cleared those plates and said our food would be right up, and asked me if I'd like my salad chopped, which I agreed. I ordered a Maurice Salad, and chopped was definitely the way to go. It was almost as good as I recall at Macy's Lakeshore. My husband got a pulled pork sandwich, which was so big he ate it with a fork and knife. Perfect for him! My girlfriend and I came in because the sushi place next door was closed. So we made an impromptu decision to go for the tavern. Not the best decision. She ordered a turkey burger and fries. Her fries were cold and her burger wasn't too far behind. I ordered Brady's Garbage salad. It was good and bad. For one they used iceberg lettuce for the bulk of the salad (who still uses iceberg?!?). The second issue was that there was more salad toppers than actual greens! I had to ask for an additional small bowl of just lettuce. Thirdly the sweet and sour dressing that came with it was totally gross! All the toppings were very flavorful and worked well together which was the good part. The best part of our visit was our cocktails and the cheese curds! Oh and our wonderful server. Service was terrible. Bartender who was also the waitress was unusually rude. She had bad energy the moment she came to our table, not sure why... ended up leaving the restaurant because the waitress angrily walked away when I asked her about wine. I have been going to Brady's for over a decade - the food and place are consistent and high quality. I've been here a number of times during the pandemic, and I must say the staff here has HUSTLE. Lately even though the pandemic is still raging, the crowds here can be big and staff really brings the great service no matter what. I've never had a bad meal here, never gotten bad service and it's a family favorite for me. Highly recommend the burgers, nachos, chicken fingers and the potato skins are a generous potato appetizer. read more

I went there with my mom today because they sent her a promotion via text. She would "eat free," and get a "$24 food credit" if she eats with others. She ordered chicken tenders and French fries (~$17) and I ordered chili (~$7). We also both had drinks which brought the total to around $41. The waiter however told us the offer wouldn't apply. He said the manager told him because we didn't order entrees, the promotion didn't apply. When we spoke to the manager, she was not very pleasant about the whole thing and said "well we can't give away free food." The issue is, the promotion said nothing about entrees. It just said a "food credit" and "moms eat free." She reluctantly took the bill back, and only took the tenders off, not the fries, which was nowhere near the $24 credit promised. Definitely think if you're having a promotion, you should be either more specific or nicer if someone points out that the promotion is confusing. read more

Last year, Bradys had to close due to Covid, and there was a little celebrating tied to Saint Patrick's day. We're approaching it a little differently this year, and my wife and I decided to do an early lunch at Bradys. We were one of a couple tables occupied in the entire bar, except for the couple in the photo I posted. They thought this through, and it made for a very light and fun experience. The food for the occasion was excellent, my wife having a corn beef sandwich and I had the shepherds pie. We also tried the Ruben eggrolls which may have been my favorite. Yes, Yes, Yes- to the Turkey Burger. I can't review any other dishes because I've been there 3 times intending on trying something different. I get there and that turkey burger calls my name. No preform croquette here guys, its obvious that they just patties these babies up. There's a list of toppings to choose from which only adds to my dilemma, so many options in to create a flavor profile . It comes on a toasted bun that I believe to be brioche. Brady's Tavern is exactly that - it's a Tavern. I have been here at least a dozen times and I would say it's a solid 3 out of five. The pros- Big bar - if you are a bar sitter nothing is more annoying than a restaurant with a 5 seat bar. You end up not going because there will never be room- that is not an issue here. Wine list - it's solid. They really do have something for everyone's taste. Bar food - if you are getting a Reuben or a burger you are going to be happy with your choice. (I recommend the turkey burger, patty melt, and Reuben.) The opportunity areas - Bar support - remember the big bar? One bartender isn't enough. We literally left the cash we had to cover the check which admittedly was not a great tip because we had to go and could not get her back for the credit card. We tried. Non bar food - Go somewhere else if you want a rice bowl to avoid fried foods. We had one once and they mixed uncooked rice in with cooked rice (hoping we wouldn't notice?). The potential tooth breaking grabbed our attention. Lack of addressing issues - in the situation above they took away the bowl said "sorry" - did ask if we wanted something else (No) and then charged us for the meal. The other thing to just be aware of is Tuesday nights. It's Trivia night. It's not good or bad it just is something to know. It's a bit louder because folks seem a touch more inebriated after multiple rounds of trivia. That is not a knock on Brady's just be aware someone may literally lean on you instead of the bar because they can't tell the difference by about 8:30 in the evening. read more

Our dinner experience tonight was far from desirable. My kids ordered items off of the kids menu. My daughter got a corn dog and it came completely cold and the hotdog was frozen in the center. My other daughter ordered a kids cheese burger and fries and the fries came frozen. Literally. They ended up bringing extra fries and Mac and cheese for my kids. Still, it's hard to get over that both were frozen! I ordered the garbage salad without anchovies and substituted shredded cheese for bleu cheese. My salad came as a bowl of iceberg lettuce, cheese, 1 egg, and 3 cherry tomatoes. Definitely not a garbage salad. It was missing ingredients. I added grilled salmon to it and it came raw in the center. (I'm not a Karen - I eat sushi, raw fish but I wouldn't eat raw fish from Brady's). I sent it back to have it cooked again. They sent it back to me and it was barely warmed. Inedible. The kitchen just doesn't seem to care tonight. My boyfriend ordered a chicken sandwich. He had the best meal, except he ordered fries instead of chips (which is an option). It came with chips. He told the waitress and she brought us fries. Then charged us for those fries! All in all, it was miserable and gross. I'm so bummed. read more

I continue to love love love Bradys. Their staff is incredible. We go fairly regularly, and they are being extra safe with Covid. We always feel safe and looked after. The food is really great, i have yet to have one dish that wasn't delicious and satisfying. Portions are generous. Margaritas are very good. Carry out has been on point during Covid, and their dine in service (now that we are back open) is always a treat. Definitely our fave local place. read more

Curb side pickup is perfect, except they should upgrade their credit card processor, so they don't have to handle the credit cards. I would put up their burgers up against any burger in town. The short rib and brisket burger is especially rich and great tasting. When I eat it, I don't want much on it , I usually have all kinds of things( cheese, tomatoes, lettuce pickles , ketchup) but on these I only like sautéed onions and a slice of tomato. Also, all are good. They have gluten free buns, YES! I Like their salads also, all of them. Their waffle fries and tater tots are great, As is sweet potato fries, but they don't travel well. The only thing I have found that I don't like is their chili, I especially do not like their chicken chili. Really great for curbside takeout. read more

We stopped in with a group of co workers after a late evening and had dinner. We got a corner in the back for our group of eight and ordered plenty of food, appetizers, and drinks. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS BUT THE CHEESE CURDS. They were amazing. We ordered three plates of them and ate them all, with no shame. I had the Molly Brown salad and it was excellent, fresh ingredients, plenty of toppings. Everyone at the table was happy with their food and our waitress was very friendly.
