    Fried chicken sandwich

One of my favorite places in the area. Parking: There's a parking lot, but tends to fill up quickly! There's street parking and also another lot nearby. Wait time: It gets busy in the summer. Even for a weekday (Wednesday even), you should expect at least a 15 minute wait. Ambiance: Very lively, fun. Slightly dim inside, but a great place to bring friends and have a good time. There's outdoor seating too which is perfect for warm weather. Food: Delicious! You can't go wrong with any item. Whether it's the fried chicken sandwich or the salmon bowl. Drinks: All of the beers and ciders are great. I recommend getting trying a few different of their beers when you go! My favorite item so far: the fried chicken sandwich.

Interesting pairing - I don't think I would try it again. The marshmallow stout was not for me. I couldn't even give it away.

Oof, the menu for plant based folks has dwindled significantly. They used to offer two vegan options that were creative. Now the only non-animal based option left on the menu is an $18 impossible burger served without fries or side whatsoever. And it's a $1 more to add vegan cheese. Won't be eating here anymore. Beer is just okay. Screaming Pumpkin is back, but doesn't hold up to other pumpkin beers. They have some decent ciders, but more so at the Rochester Hills location. Seating options, location, and friendly employees are the pros.

I can't drink beer but tried the bourbon. Not impress, very harsh. Had the Manhattan and it was bad. Would not order it again.

Ask the Community - Griffin Claw Birmingham

    Do they have on-site parking?

Yes, they do but it is quite small so during rush hours or may be difficult to find a spot and you'll have park on the street

    Is the patio dog friendly?

In the summer they allowed dogs at the tables that were set up along the driveway. But those aren't full service. We had to buy our beer in a 4 pack to sit and enjoy them with our dog, and she was kindof stressed by the cars going by.

Does anyone know if they serve food at the Rochester location?

At clubhouse BFD? Yes they do!

Since being recently diagnosed with a gluten intolerance, it was so refreshing to see so many choices available. I tried the seasoned fries and the burnt ends both were delicious. The burnt ends had a great smoky flavor, though a little on the fatty side, but still very enjoyable. I also heard great things from my table about the Brisket Whiskey Burger topped with smoked Gouda cheese, paired with those same seasoned fries. The drinks were well-balanced, not too strong, but flavorful and enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual, with a sports-bar vibe that makes it perfect for groups, hanging out with friends, or even a laid-back date night. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and took my gluten allergy seriously, which I really appreciated. She made sure I understood the gluten-free options and guided me toward safe choices. Overall, this place is a solid spot with tasty food, great service, and plenty of gluten-free options. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu!

There was only two of us we set up near the bar at a high top. We were greeted by Erin, still with a smile but obviously she had been working extremely hard that day. She grabbed our beers and gave us a chance to take a look at the menu. When she came back, she told us up front that the kitchen was about an hour behind, and asked if we still wanted to order. I find this to be such an attribute to her being a server. I wanted to give a shout out to her because otherwise I would have probably been upset if she just kept making excuses. By her being up front, it made my experience at this restaurant so much better. Honesty is everything when it comes to service and she exceeded our expectations. She kept checking on us making sure that we were okay? It was totally understandable being mother's Day. Our food came and I tried the Korean turkey burger for the very first time and I'll tell you it was outstanding. I do not give five stars very often but all in all my experience with the staff, and the food. The five stars is well deserved.
