    Beef Bulgogi Pizza

After ice skating, came here for dinner. I was really interested in trying their Korean fusion pizza! They took over Pizza Rock. I ordered their beef bulgogi pizza and my date ordered BPM burger. Pizza was really interesting but felt more Americanized than Korean. I took a bite of my date's fries and it was really good. Service was super quick and attentive.

Recently came here for lunch, and the staff were so friendly and killing it during the lunch rush. The food on the other hand, kine of mid. Mozzarella sticks were decent and huge. The burger was a little on the salty side, and dear god please do not get the banana spring rolls dessert thing. It tastes like a cinnamon stick or a spice bag you use to season pho. The vibe is always going to be there downtown. I just wish they had drink menus with prices though, and maybe a happy hour incentive. It'll draw a crowd to a bustling area.

This spot recently opened in the DOCO area and I finally went with my coworkers as it's walkable from our offices. I was told to order their kids pizza because of the price, so I gave it a chance! I was very impressed; $9 for a good sized pizza was a steal! The food was slow coming out, but being new, it was understandable and they were very sweet, apologizing that it was taking longer for our food than it should've, and offered us a discount to come back. The decor inside is very cool as well; I would return and try their other pizzas.

The owners were awesome and apologetic although they messed up our order twice ;). I've never had tofu on pizza and I probably won't ever find it again, but I'm glad I tried it! It was unique for sure and definitely a memorable experience.

Came here for lunch when I read about it on SacBee. I didn't know this was on the K street corridor until I looked it up. We ordered 2 personal pizza lunch specials and 1 BPM burger lunch special. The pizzas were good. Perfect size for a single sitting. The burger was huge with plenty of shoestring fries. The restaurant was fairly large with a bar on the right side. Plenty of tables. The service was okay. I wouldn't mind making this a regular lunch spot to support the local business.

Walking into the restaurant we were welcomed by a wall of flies. The server was nice but not attentive. Food was good but not great.

I have not heard much about this spot but stumbled upon it when looking up Hot & New Restaurants in town. They describe themselves as a Korean-Italian fusion restaurant. They opened up on K Street which has seen a lot of places close down recently so I really hope they'll increase their marketing and can survive the tough times! I called ahead to order for pickup and our order was ready within 15 minutes. Since it's on the main stretch of K Street, just plan ahead for parking purposes or just pull over and put your emergency blinkers on! The bulgogi pizza was a must, but I will definitely be back to try the japchae pizza! Upon opening up the box, I wasn't sure how good it would be because the crust seemed a little light. But the pizza was actually so delicious! I do wish it had more meat but the bites that did have bulgogi were bursts of flavor. I also liked that they paired it with a white sauce. This is about a 12" pizza so it could be shared by two people or just perfect for one hungry person. I think it was quite pricey for that size but otherwise I guess I can't think of another place around that I could get a bulgogi pizza... We also ordered garlic fries which I think were also overpriced at $9.95 but they were very flavorful. We also got charged for ranch which I didn't realize was an extra charge when I ordered on the phone until they rang us up. I don't mind paying for it but would just be nice if they were transparent about it rather than sneaky! Overall really enjoyed the pizza but hoping they'll reconsider their pricing during this soft opening period!

Came here after some fun at Coin Op. Place was completely empty, so we were a bit skeptical.. But it was late, and we were hungry. It was super clean inside, and the pizza oven was ready to be used! Haha! So we gave it a shot. Glad we did! My first thought upon seeing the pizza when it came to our table, was just ehh. Apparently I'm just used to commercialized pizza. AS SOON as I took my first bite, my immediate thought was "This is real pizza!" It was soooo good! Very fresh. Perfect amount of crispiness. BEST margarita pizza I've ever had. The meatballs taste as good as they look! Omg!! Can't wait to go back here. The staff was cool too. A few of our friends joined us, and we all had the place to ourselves while server and bartender vibed with us. It was a great night!

Visited BMP yesterday for a work event. I tried the wings which were not good at all. They were baked and the flavor was just not right. We also tried the pear pizza and omg it was amazing! The drinks were ok but just not happy with the taste of the wings. I would only go back for that pizza. The service was good and the decor was nice.

Have been back a few times to try out the wide menu variety. Definitely NOT a fan of the BPM burger, (specifically the BPM sauce) @ $16.00 Service was also a bit slow while they only seemed to have one server and bartender and no hostess to greet or seat we ended up having to go to the bar to place our order and sat.

We happened to stop in while killing time, and the bartender made it a great experience. Their service was fun, and they were awesome. We sat at the bar and really enjoyed the place. The taco was good, and I'm glad we stopped by. Give this place a try if you're ever in the area! It was nice, clean, and spacious

I was happy to hear that the TaKo (korean-mexican fusion) restaurant that had closed down years ago still serves their classic tacos at this place now! The tacos were just as delicious as I remembered and I will be ordering from them again. While I think the atmosphere and location is not the best since it was empty when I had gone, the food is good! Kimchi spring roll: 7/10 Bulgogi Pizza: 7/10 Spicy bulgogi and spicy chicken tacos: 9.5/10

My wife and I went for valentines dinner here, and we were both blown away with every dish both in taste and preparation, one of the few places I would say serves almost too much food. The complimentary bread was light and fluffy and was more than just some lame bread. Our apps were the bruschetta and the fried ravioli. The bruschetta comes out on fresh toasted bread, just enough to give it a crunch but still with a soft center- the tomatoes tasted fresh and there is also some toasted cheese on the bottom and some garlic on top, definitely sets the bar for a good bruschetta. The fried ravioli were huge and completely filled with cheese, the fry was perfectly crispy and every bite was better than the last- the highlight though might have been the marinara it came with, which honestly might have been one of the best marinaras I've had at a restaurant, just super, super flavorful. Apps definitely get a 5/5 For our entrees I got the chicken parm and she got the spaghetti. I've said before in my reviews that I'm a bit of a protein snob and I love my extra protein, but without even asking the protein on each dish was more than enough, and the dishes themselves were enormous. My chicken was juicy, crispy, and super well seasoned. Her spaghetti has so much sausage in it, and it was so good- even the noodles themselves had a handmade bite to them. Just a fantastic 5/5 experience for both dishes. My only warning is to be careful of the orange drizzle, it's very spicy! Our service was both fun and polite, I unfortunately did not remember our servers name but he made it fun and helped answer all of our questions. If you are looking for Italian in this area please give this restaurant your business, everything about it is perfect.

But every time I visit Paesanos I get both of those things. On my most recent visit to the restaurant, I had the pleasure of being served by Clemens. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and helped me find the perfect meal(Fettucine Arrositi) to fit my current dietary restrictions. He also helped my grandma find something on the menu that wouldn't be too carb heavy since she is diabetic. He was pleasant all around, he was patient with my grandma all night and made me feel like he truly valued our time and didn't rush us. He is everything you want in a server-kind,direct,knowledgeable, and dependable. I would come back any time just to get customer service like that. Now on to the food, I had the Fettucine Arrositi which I believe is their signature dish. I have had it before but this time it was especially delicious. The sauce has a flavor like no other pasta I've ever had it's rich but not too rich creamy but not too creamy and the thing that sets it apart from other creamy pastas is the subtle Cajun flavor. It tastes a bit like old bay and Tabasco to me with some other amazing things in it I'm sure but it was delicious 9/10 My grandma likes to order a lot of things for the table because she never got to have that so she ordered a bunch of things for herself to try and for me to finish. We had the meatballs and they were fantastic but she felt they were too big haha 9/10. Then we had the calamari which was my favorite of the appetizers we ordered. I'm hoping next time to try the polenta fries. Then for her main course my grandma had the wedge salad which she loved but she did mention she wished it had lots more bacon and I can't blame because I too always want more bacon on things. All in all it was a great experience and I will be back very soon.

My wife and I ordered the Favorita, Fettuccine Pesto Fresco, and Pizza Rustica. When ordering the Favorita my wife asked if the goat cheese was pasteurized and the waiter said he didn't know. Unpasteurized cheese is unsafe to consume for immunocompromised individuals and it was very important to confirm if the cheese was pasteurized. Unfortunately, the waiter did not offer to find out if the cheese was pasteurized so my wife requested it on the side and was unable to consume it. Complimentary focaccia bread was served with olive oil that contained Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese. The focaccia bread was the perfect consistency as it was not too soft or dense. The salad was served timely, however the pasta and pizza took a whopping 50 minutes to be served! No cheese or chili flakes were offered for the pizza. After the food was served the waiter did not check on us and we had to flag him down to get more water, parmesan cheese, and chili flakes for the pizza. The Favorita was an arugula salad that contained asparagus, yellow beets, and thin sliced radish. It was served with a large parmesan crostini which complimented the salad well and was a scrumptious addition. The Pizza Rustica contained artichoke hearts, spinach, tomatoes and cheese. The toppings were lacking as there were few small artichoke hearts, tomatoes, and a bare sprits of spinach. When I eat pizza I expect toppings in every bite, however there were only a few toppings per slice which was an extreme disappointment. The Fettuccine Pesto Fresco did not have a strong basil taste as I would expect from pesto. The fettuccine also tasted overcooked as the noodles were too soft. When I called to make a reservation I noted we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and was told that something special would be done in celebration. Since no one wished us a happy anniversary or made any mention of it my wife asked one of the servers if they do anything for anniversaries. They ended up providing a gelato with a sparkler in the center and took our picture. The strawberry gelato was tasty and the sparkler provided a neat affect. We were presented with our picture to commemorate the special occasion.

At the time, they had one cook and a manager who was also acting as the bartender and server for the whole floor. You could tell he was a little nervous at first with such a big party, but honestly, he handled it really well. He was friendly, energetic, and super transparent about what they were out of since everything is made fresh. He also did a great job explaining the dishes and cocktails, which we appreciated. Our group was pretty easygoing, and overall the experience felt fun and relaxed. The food came out looking (and tasting) amazing across the board. I ordered the gluten-free hot honey pizza, and it was a standout--perfect crust, nice balance of sweet and heat, and loaded with cheese, pepperoni, and sausage. Definitely a win. One of my friends also ordered gluten-free and tried the pesto chicken pizza. Unfortunately, that one missed the mark--the chicken was overcooked, the pesto flavor was off, and the pizza itself was a bit bland. However, when she mentioned it, the server immediately made it right by remaking her pizza and not charging for it, which we really appreciated. The space itself has a great vibe--cute aesthetics and it sounds like they host events during the week like DJs and art nights, which is a fun touch. Parking can be a little tricky since it's on a busy intersection, but manageable. Overall, a really solid experience, especially considering our group size and no reservation. It's that mix of a lively sports bar with really good Italian food, all inside a historic space filled with sports memorabilia. Walking in feels like stepping back in time with all the vintage photos everywhere. Knowing Joe Marty, a former professional baseball player, originally opened his bar here back in 1938 and seeing how they've renovated it without losing that character makes it feel like a really special piece of the city. One of my favorite moments was when my husband ordered a Manhattan and the bartender came over and poured it tableside. It turned into this whole little production and the table next to us immediately ordered one too, which was kind of fun to watch. The food held up just as well. My teen had the spaghetti with marinara and meatballs on the side and finished the entire plate, which says everything. I told our waiter Sean to surprise me and he brought out the lobster ravioli and I was not mad about that at all. It was so good. My husband ordered the carbonara with shrimp and that was also a hit. I then tried the margarita italiano, which also fell flat. It tasted more like something you would expect from a casual chain restaurant like Applebee's or Chili's, not a higher-end dining spot. The mango flavor tasted like a syrup/flavoring instead of fresh mango. For food, we ordered a pizza that was pretty underwhelming and not something I would go back for. My partner had the linguine mare chiaro, which was also just okay. The sauce tasted bland and one-dimensional, and the seafood did not stand out at all. We gave the tiramisu a chance hoping dessert might redeem the meal, and while it was the best part of the dinner, it was still only fine overall. Overall, the entire experience felt underwhelming and not aligned with what I would expect from the price point or reputation.
