Found a ghost kitchen in downtown! I wanted to try Ariana Gyro and Kabob since it was a closer drive. When I walked the girl behind the counter asked if I been here and I said no. She loudly pointed out that I could order through the kiosk or my phone. I opted for the kiosk since I was the only one here and wanted to see what else they offered. They had several concepts from Indian, Chinese, Mexican, and Mediterranean along with boba drinks. When my order was ready, I received a text to open up the locker my order was in. I would definitely be back to try the other offerings. The bowl I ordered was quite good. Even mild was pretty spicy. There is no seating so be prepared to stand inside or outside depending on how crowded it might be inside.

Horrible workers and service. Rodent infested area and one of their workers slashed a tire

The place reminds me of bars that I would have frequented in my twenties and felt strangely familiar. The bar keep/waiter was super friendly and laid back. Our party of two proceeded to order burgers, mine with regular fries and my dining companion the garlic fries. I made a few substitutions which were quickly accommodated with a smile. The burgers were soooo good! Cooked perfectly to order and the garlic fries are a must. So perfectly garlicky without any bitterness and delightfully delicious. The fries are perfectly between thin and steak, striking a balance that fits just about any preference.

They're known for their burgers, but even without ordering one, everything we tried was delicious. The fried sweet pickles with house-made ranch were my absolute favorite--perfectly crispy and so flavorful. The mac and cheese was rich and homemade-tasting, and the house chips with salsa and beer cheese dip were a great addition. Our friends ordered the mac-and-cheese grilled cheese (yes, really!) and devoured it, and the Reuben was also a huge hit. Definitely an 11/10 experience. We'd absolutely come back if we're in the area again.

Breakfast usually isn't my favorite, but for this place, I'll gladly make an exception! The staff is always friendly, and I usually make a reservation just in case. The ambiance is relaxed, and the staff stays on top of everything without being overbearing. There's also a nice variety when it comes to both the food and drinks. This visit, I went with the Florentine Benedict, and it did not disappoint. The sauce was smooth and flavorful, and the poached egg was cooked perfectly. My drink was refreshing and definitely warranted during this heatwave! Another great visit to Cafeteria 15L. Until next time--thanks for another great experience!

The prime rib was very thin cut, and the horseradish sauce was very light would not order this again. The rotisserie chicken salad was very basic would not order again. The chicken and waffles were absolutely delicious. The country gravy is not our thing, so it was on the side. The cinnamon butter that came with it made it extra delicious and the syrup was great too. The Seabass was absolutely terrible. It tasted like really overdone cod and the crab coating just tasted like burnt flour base crust. This was a severe disappointment. I ordered asparagus on the side which was cooked the way they did in the 1950s to a point of mush and what was another severe disappointment. The chocolate bomb was absolutely delicious. I have to say when I come again, I will stick to my usual Thai steak salad as it is always incredibly good and for the main course, I will probably order that chicken and waffles again too!

The Standouts: * Oh my goodness get that octopus dish back in my mouth. Wow, I can't describe adequately the unique texture they were able to get on it, with a crispy exterior and tender interior. There was a generous helping of garlic sauce which came with it and the potatoes that were on the side were also fantastic. Easily the best dish of the night. * The Ravioli was also delicious. It comes with a herby, earthy pesto on top and a delightful balance of cheese filling. * Lovely selection of Italian drinks including alcoholic and NA options * Interesting bruschetta flight - 4 pieces of toast each with a different type of topping. The onion Jam and pesto ones stood out to me. The Improvement Points: * The AC was not working very well when we were there. It got pretty toasty in the dining room given that it was a Sacramento summer day. I would love to see the AC back up and running next time. * The Carbonara, while nice, was not a standout in my opinion. They have a carbonara, they do it well enough, but nothing particularly special - light on the guanciale. * Location is certainly loud. Just the way the dining room is designed, no problem with the experience. Just be prepared to listen and speak up a little for dinner.

The theme of today's meal was unfortunately S A L T…read more The Octopus appetizer was the best part of the meal. The yukon gold potatoes were amazingly crispy with a nice bite to the skin. The inside was pillow-y soft, and when mixed with the salsa verde was full of flavor with a fabulous punch of garlic. The salsa verde could be put over a nice flank steak and it would absolutely kill. That said, the octopus was a bit *too* crispy. I felt I had to really chew to get it down, and I just wanted a nice snappy skin for some textural juxtaposition. For my entree, I got the Bolognese which was definitely full of salt. The pasta was wonderfully thin and bouncy, but I feel the chef may have had an off-day. My friend and I had to down like multiple cups of water with our meal which made it hard to enjoy. Plus, the garlic bread felt like biting into a brick. The inside was quite fluffy and soft, but the crust was simply too crispy. I almost felt like my teeth were going to give way. Honestly, I can't in good faith recommend this place to my friends, so neither would I recommend it to you. (aside from the pasta classes)

The setting is perfect for any delicious plate ordered. We were a party of four. All plates were delicious with exceptional and noteworthy comments made for the salmon and the half order seafood plate. (I had this) Everything on my plate was delicate, fresh and savory! To compliment all of this the SERVICE was top tier and utterly refined. From the valet to every facet of the waitstaff we were well taken care of. Our gentlemen server was very polite and accommodating to us as this was our first time in such a place! I intended to try and "new thing" and ordered the caviar and roasted peach plate. So delicious! The sweet and savory combination was a hit and really made that first experience exceptional.

There was nothing that made any dish stand out. We ordered the gnocchi appetizer and scallop appetizer. The scallops barely had any sear and zero flavor to them. When we received our bread we asked for butter and was told it was already on the bread and not provided any. Why have a butter knife at our setting then? Other tables had butter to complement their bread. We ordered the ribeye and fish as our main courses. The fish was cooked perfectly, but again lacked any flavoring or anything to make it special that we would want to return. Overall for the price we paid, I don't feel that we would be return customers.
