Great selection of beers on tap and a large food menu but the lacking service killed those positives. We were seated right away and our waiter got our drink orders out pretty quickly then we kinda got ghosted for the remainder of the time. Getting refills was damn near impossible. My husband ordered a beer and we watched it sit on the bar for 10 minutes waiting for someone to grab it and deliver it. We never got checked back up on once our food was delivered and again, took forever to get to go boxes. I had the Cobb salad with chicken, no complaints other than it needed more dressing. The espresso martini was kissing the garnish. And the sliders were super pink. I probably wouldn't come back for food service. Maybe just sit at the bar and have a beer.

We stopped on for a late lunch and we just made it before the rush of the Ice Skating show. The service was great. Our server was attentive and personable. The food was fresh and hot with such flavor. We enjoyed the onion ring tower because it wasn't overly greasy and the added touch of Parmesan brought it to another level. The breading was light which I appreciated. We shared a stacked turkey club. It was a large enough portion for 2 adults. Their fries are just the right enough crispiness. It became quite busy but not overly noisy

Surprisingly unexpected, something for everyone! Very crowded and busy; lively and spacious. We had to wait for 25 minutes for a table. Server was very friendly and checked in us, refilling our waters and seeing if we needed anything. Great, attentive service. Surprisingly, the menu offers many options that I wouldn't expect but we decided to get some appetizers, first. We had Miguel's Queso and the Parmesan Truffle fries. The queso was so flavorful. The truffle fries were so crispy. Great appetizers! Shortly after, our entrees arrived -- we had the Jambalaya, Lobster Garlic Noodles and Steak Bowl. Portions are so large, very delicious. I ate half of my meal, it was so huge but I enjoyed the meal very much! As it's loud and crowded; with televisions all around; it's a lively spot to hang out and grab a bite to eat. There is something for everyone -- very delicious! Yard House exceeded my expectations; would highly recommend!

The food here is extremely plain and honestly pretty flavorless. I don't eat American food very often, but if this is what it's supposed to represent, then it definitely fits the stereotype--safe, bland, and afraid of seasoning. Everything tasted intentionally toned down, as if strong herbs or bold flavors were avoided altogether. The ingredients felt basic, and the quality did not justify the prices at all. It had been several years since my last visit, and I suggested Yard House for a family lunch mainly because it's convenient for large groups with different preferences. In that sense, it works. We had a party of 8 with no reservations and only waited about 15 minutes. The restaurant wasn't packed and was comfortable enough. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing across the board. The mocktail had a strange bittersweet taste that I didn't enjoy for something non-alcoholic. The onion rings were just bad--soft, barely any texture, and zero crispness, which defeats the entire purpose of onion rings. The sauce didn't help. The garlic noodles were just okay and probably the best thing I had, but even then, they weren't memorable and definitely not worth the price. My husband ordered a burger that sounded great on paper--the ingredients made it seem delicious and worthwhile. Of course, I had to take a bite, and even he agreed with me that it was tasteless. The bacon was soft, the burger itself was nothing special, and despite being hungry, he couldn't dig into it like he normally would because it was so mediocre. Our server was nice but clearly inexperienced--flustered, disorganized, and forgetful (we asked for salt and it never came). Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place if you enjoy flavorful food or like trying new things. This feels like a restaurant for people who are comfortable ordering the same safe items every time and don't mind bland flavors. It's fine if you need a place to sit a large group, but beyond that, there's nothing here that would make me come back. I'd rather go to BJ's Brewhouse next time.

Another Yard House awesome! Each location is awesome and different. Sooo many beers on tap and amazing food. Quality of an upscale restaurant but at an affordable price. Fantastic service at the bar.

We came here for date night on Sat and as you can imagine it was packed but the wait was tops 10 min. The vibes are always right here, dim lighting, a ton of TVs for the sports fans. Staff is always super friendly and help with great recommendations. EVERYTHING we ordered was amazing!!! HIGHLY recommend the spicy edamame.

Came in on a Friday evening and were told there would be about a 20-minute wait for two people, but we were seated in closer to 10 minutes, which was a nice surprise. The place was packed and had a lively vibe--if you've ever been to Black Tap at Disneyland, it felt similar in energy and atmosphere. For food, I ordered the ribeye with broccolini and mashed potatoes, and my husband got the cheesesteak sandwich. We also shared the firecracker shrimp appetizer. We originally wanted the hummus, but they were out of the pita bread and said it would only come with vegetables, so we decided to pass (hummus really needs pita). The firecracker shrimp was very good. The entrees did take a little longer than expected to come out, but once they arrived, everything tasted good. One thing I really appreciated was the service--they brought drink refills before we even asked, right as our cups were getting low. I had the dragon fruit lemonade, which I enjoyed, and my husband had a Coke. Overall, good food, great service, and a fun, busy atmosphere. I'd definitely come back and plan to try the jambalaya next time--I'll update this review when I do.

    Ahi crunchy salad

This is actually five stars for their beer, but three stars for their food. I think the prices are pretty high and well my crunchy tuna salad looked delicious. The flavors were just not right. It was so overpowering with salad dressing that it was barely edible. We also got the tuna appetizer, which was just awful in flavor I could not eat that at all. The tacos were extra small street tacos with what they call Beans and Rice, but it was just some OK rice with a splattering of a few beans on top. The food was just so expensive. We walked out of there for $140 for three people and it just wasn't what I expected. The checkout service is done at a machine on each table at you time of choice. The wait staff is running around like crazy, but when you call them over they bring whatever you want they seem to want to please you with doing what they can to customize what you want. Pro tip: I would definitely ask for the salad dressings to be put on the side because they are insanely overpowering. I will definitely return for the Incredible bar, which has so many craft beers that are just wonderful. They do run about 10 bucks each, even for the bottled nonalcoholic standard beer. But the craft beer is worth it.

Food and service were good. It has been awhile since I visited this restaurant. They changed up their menu. We came in on a Monday at 11am. Was seated right away. I ordered from the "under 700" section of the menu. Smaller plates but the dishes still offer a big flavorful punch. The crunchy ahi plate came with smoked veggies and a scoop of rice. Presentation was lovely! I finished the entire plate without feeling guilty!

    Huryoung V.

Pro Tip: sit at the bar for quicker service stopping in to grab a drink and bite before a movie/game/concert. The burger was delicious, the ahi tuna chips didn't have much tuna but was well seasoned. The spicy chow mein style dish used spaghetti noodles which was interesting.

My second time here, and they do not disappoint. Good service and food. It's Friday and a bit busy, but our server was attentive and didn't forget about us. There's something special going on with those chicken nachos, love the sauce!

My friends and I arrived on a Kings Game Day so it was pretty packed. Our wait was about 30-40 minutes. Not sure if they were understaffed that day, but it took a while for our drinks to come out and then we had to wait to order food. We enjoyed the queso dip but both the sliders and cheesesteak were really basic with not much flavor, very dry. The Lobster Garlic Noodles were a hit and packed a ton of flavor. Wish it had more lobster especially with the price of the dish.

We had a really good time here tonight. It was bar seating and unfortunately, we missed the happy hour by about four minutes. The waitress/bartender was very attentive, and when she went on her break, the fill-in was also very attentive. The food was good and there was plenty of beers to choose from. It was pretty loud, but that was expected so it didn't bother anyone. There was one hitch and that was I ordered the queso dip, but the main food came out first. I attempted to cancel the queso dip, but they actually ended up bringing it out and just comping it.

How much do they pay bands?

    No bands

Is there outdoor seating? I don't see that in the description - would be great if you made that clear. Thanks.

Yes they do offer outdoor dining. If you have a dog it has to be a service animal. Hope that helps:)

Do you have a private room for 12 people?

    Yes they do

How busy are you at the bar prior to events at Golden One i.e concert or show?

They are busy it gets packed very busy the whole place is full

Does the food taste any good it looks like slop on the pictures and the portions are very very small I think I'll pass on this one am I wrong?

It is standard chain/pub fair. I've enjoyed most of the meals I've had and I really LOVE the poke nachos. The portion size is decent. I'd say give it a try once and even ask the servers what they think of certain meals. If they're luke-warm on… Read more

I dont need to make a reservation correct?

Not at all. AND - if there's a wait, you can usually walk up to the bar and sit there.

Is there a future possibility to order thru door dash, grub hub, etc?

Hey Julie. We can't say for certain, but we'll pass your suggestion along to our team.

    Does Yard House offer brunch?

Hey, Alfrieda! We do not offer our brunch anymore, but we do open at 11am and have brunch items on our regular menu, such as Nashville Hot Chicken, Avocado Toast, mimosas and bloody marys.

Do we need a reservation for happy hour? Coworkers and I want to come, about 8 people.

Although we didn't go during happy hour and did make reservations for our party of 8, the place is huge! You may not need a reservation but I played it safe because I didn't want to get turned away.

Does Yardhouse use an app to show wait times?

    Yes

Are you playing the NBA finals?

Hey Amy! Yes, we will be.

    Can people under 18 go?

Hey Tayha! Yes. People under 18 are welcome at our house.

    Is Yard House dog friendly?

Hi there! We only allow task-oriented service animals.

Do they have a separate area for large parties/reservstions?

No. What you see in the building is the all the space they have

How noisy is it during lunchtime?

Why are you named Yard House? Silly question but had to ask anyways!

What is the parking like in the area?

Park at the multi level parking garage right next to Macy's on 3rd between J and L. It's $4 per hour but Yard House validates for 2 hours. (This garage is different from the small lot underneath Macy's off of L.)

Do you guys validate parking if I park in parking garage?

They give a QR voucher that's good for a few hrs

    Do you serve corona premier?

    Yes

I'm excited to try this place! I see there is an outdoor area - can someone confirm they are dog friendly?! Thanks!!

I don't know for certain but I would guess yes. There is plenty of room and everyone was super nice!

Even the "soy sauce" is tamari sauce! Beware as it is more salty than usual. Perfect for my salty needs! Would be great to label those items and celebrate the GF nature of the menu otherwise! Even Tempura/fried items are made with rice flour instead of wheat/panko. My wife was actually able to enjoy tempura that she hasn't been in a while so it was a real surprise and a treat. It's even better as it feels less greasy, more crispy while feeling very light! The owners are very friendly and shared that they had so many requests for GF items that they decided to do it in as many items as possible. What a great gesture! Let's talk about flavor next. The common Japanese sushi restaurant theme is sticking to mild flavors and lean on the sweet side. Here at Village of OM, flavors are celebrated! The Korean fermented soy bean paste on fried oyster mushroom is very tasty and even goes well with the rolls! I recommend requesting on the side for your dipping pleasures! Definitely get the ghost pepper satay side as well to use with your carb dish. We had it with lions mane fried rice and it definitely should come this way for those onboard to flavor town. We missed out on pickled wasabi side for rolls, and that's a more authentic Japanese flavor we highly recommend! It is less offensive to the nostrils than powdered wasabi paste (usually made with mustard and horseradish). Miso soup was also tasty with real substance of cubed tofu and hearty flavored mushrooms. Add a few pieces of seaweed and it would be perfection! When it comes to peak vegan rolls in memory, I would have to go back to Lou's sushi of old for its creativity, texture, and flavors. After trying ziggy of OM and zen garden rolls, wife and I can say this place is right there with Lou's of old if not better! The apple slices in the ziggy combined with Korean soy bean paste really hit the spot of sweet and tangy with a fresh crisp texture. We look forward to trying other roll creations on the menu in the future! The ambiance was amazing and felt intimate with the low lighting but the center light on each table made it classy and brought just enough lighting to see the food and each other. It was Mother's Day lunch and the place was buzzing with families honoring mothers of all ethnicity and backgrounds. It was a true melting pot and a celebration of diversity. Before we left a friendly mother and her teenage son commented on how cute our little ones were. While we were grateful, I was caught off guard and didn't have a chance to mention how vibrant, stylish and youthful the mother looked! May she find this comment here to make her day the way I wished it would have had I said it in person. As mentioned before, we came here for Mother's Day celebration and I reserved online the day of!! Talk about last minute... Original idea was to go to Buddha Belly but it's currently closed possibly for renovations? I've heard that the same owners also opened village of OM and I decided to take a chance! The information was correct as I saw the same couple moving gracefully with purpose throughout the restaurant and behind the kitchen door window. I even saw their son K naturally entertaining other kids just as he once did with ours last time at Buddha Belly. What a great decision it turned out to be!

Saturday night: 5 stars (read both reviews as the next day was a 2.5 star)…read more We had reservations and were seated quickly last Saturday night. I was immediately impressed by the stylish bar and the restaurant's beautiful interior design. As others have mentioned, it is quite dark in the evening, but the adjustable lamps on each table are a thoughtful touch and add to the atmosphere. I wanted to order everything on the menu, but since there were five of us, we were able to order family-style and share a variety of dishes. The ceviche was full of flavor and paired perfectly with the rice chips. We all loved the gyoza and the fried rice as well. I also enjoyed a perfectly made espresso martini. From start to finish, the service was attentive and friendly. The prices felt very fair considering how creative and fresh the food was. I returned the next day for Mother's Day with my daughter, and I'll be reviewing that experience separately, as it was completely different from this one. After having such an excellent dining experience here the night before, I chose this restaurant again for a Mother's Day lunch with my daughter. We did not have reservations, but were seated within about 10 minutes, which we appreciated. Before being seated, we chatted briefly with a server behind the bar who was warm and welcoming. My daughter also loved the decor, the vibe, and the music--it created a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Unfortunately, the experience declined after that. It took an unusually long time for anyone to take our order, and the wait for our food was simply unacceptable. During that time, our server repeatedly brought dishes to our table that belonged elsewhere. Each time we asked about our order, we were told it was coming soon, but it did not arrive. I eventually flagged down another server, who sincerely apologized and said she would look into it right away. We still waited quite a while longer, so I spoke with yet another staff member, who also said she would involve the manager and get things handled. Our food finally arrived about 35-40 minutes after ordering. The person who delivered it--who was not our original server--apologized and brought us a small serving of sorbet in a martini glass, presumably as a gesture for the delay. Neither of us wanted dessert, so it went untouched. Having worked in the restaurant industry for many years, including training staff in service standards, I know that delays can happen. What matters most is how they are handled. In this case, a manager should have come to the table personally to apologize and, at minimum, adjusted or comped the delayed dish. That kind of service recovery can turn a poor experience around. I felt especially disappointed because I had chosen this restaurant for a special Mother's Day meal and had spoken so highly of it after the previous evening's wonderful visit. Instead, we left let down. I hope management takes reviews like this seriously, because service recovery is essential in hospitality.

The fare is Mediterranean inspired in a classy mid-town vibe. THE PROS: Wonderful ambiance. Our server, Ferzan, was top notch, both with her service and suggestions. Upscale casual with lots of high end touches. Live jazz and some classic style harp music the evening we were there. We each had a cocktail, split about small plates, and did a dessert. There was not a bad dish in the bunch, but my wife and I agreed the stand-out was the Filet Mignon skewers. Delicious. Cooked perfectly with a wonderful parsley/onion garnish that made an amazing flavor combination. THE CONS: Only a few very minor things come to mind: The shrimp dish, while quite tasty, was a bit salty. A couple FYIs: The lighting, while it made for nice atmosphere, is a bit on the dim side for menu reading. Also, their fresh baked bread is wonderful, but it would be a real plus if it was complementary, because it really goes great with their food and dips. More is better. And to me this one's a head scratcher... in the dining room with moody lighting and classy music they had a big screen tv with ESPN on the whole time. To be fair, the sound was off, but if you were there to watch sports, they have a nice bar with two other screens in there. It was totally out of place in the main dining room. BOTTOM LINE: Yes. Absolutely Yes. It is great for date-night, or any other night when you want a comfortable high end dining experience. PRICE: Items range from about $20-$50 each. Our total was about $150

Roasted flavor and you could definitely taste the eggplant, that tzaziki had a wonderful "Tang" to it, which kept it from being too rich, and the hummus was creamy, and delicious. Nothing overwhelmed each other. There was a bit of red pepper on top of the hummus that gave it a tiny kick. There was a generous amount of pita to go with it. I loved the olives. They had a nice briny flavor to them. I normally don't care for green olives, but these were amazing. For my main course, I ordered the chicken pita bowl. Chicken Gyro meat, arugula, lettuce, red onion, tomatoes, tzatziki, and I had a choice of regular or spicy aïoli. I decided to try the spicy aïoli, and she put it on the side. I had a choice of Greek fries or rice, and I chose to have half-and-half. The fries were more like small wedges, and they were tender and well seasoned. The rice was just your average white rice, but it did have a very good texture The chicken was tender and flavorful, and again, everything played very well with each other. The spicy aïoli was about halfway up the scale of what I like for spicy, but it had an amazing flavor. I mixed everything together, including the spicy aïoli, and it made for the perfect bite. It came with a few more pieces of that tender pita bread. I ended up with about half of my dip trio, and half of my main course. Enough to take Home for another full menu. The price is on the higher end, but for the amount of the amazing food you get, it was definitely worth it. I will be back. Thank you.

here we go again. Updated review of another local restaurant which i have enjoyed in the past. So…read morehow was our experience. Ambience: still very nice, clean, and inviting. Staff: very very friendly and helpful. I had asked about ingredients used in their entrees and they were very diligent in providing that information. In fact, they had a binder that described all the spices and ingredients used- very very helpful for those with allergy tolerances A+. So what did we order: 1) lamb and beef gyro with lavash bread. this item was huge and our dining companion enjoyed her gyro and could not finish her entree. her greek fries with deep fried potato cubes slightly seasoned. 2) Lamb burger was a very thick patty that consisted of a moist and tender texture. the seasoning was not overt and the brioche bun was good. her only concern was the actual size of the burger. although it was a thick burger the circumference of the burger was a bit small. But she also had all her burger fixins (peppers, cheese, arugula, sauce) on the side which might have made the burger smaller visually. But she did enjoy the flavor. 3) Roasted 1/2 chicken w/rice/chickpeas entree had a nice mild flavor. However, the chicken breast was a little over cooked, but the bird was actually a bit small which might have been the reason it was a little over done. However, the rice and chickpeas peas had a nice flavor which made consuming the dried pieces of chicken breast a little easier to eat. 4) baba ghanoush: this was very very good. it had a hint of lemon which made this appetizer fresher and was a the star of our dining experience. Plus their pita bread is so so soft. yum. Again- staff were very accommodating and provided a nice array of containers for our leftovers.
