When we walked in at 5:30 on a Tuesday we were the only people in the restaurant. We took a seat at the bar and the bartender seemed a little unfamiliar with the bar. When I asked what beers they had he pointed at the taps... Not helpful. We ordered a truffle oil pizza and some kimchi spring rolls. The spring rolls were huge, and just alright. The pizza was heavy on the truffle oil, I was tasting it the rest of the night. I ordered an old fashioned that he made more than would fit in the glass, and you couldn't taste the bourbon at all. He refilled my glass with what was left, which was a bit odd. Not a good old fashioned. The place itself is spacious and has interesting decor with a big semi truck sticking out of the wall and a ceiling mural. The music is 80s-90s rock, I think maybe it was going for a 90s grunge feel? Hands down one of if not THE best burger I've ever had. Wasn't sure what to expect when walking in as it was a huge space with few and small tables. I went simple and got the BPM burger with shoestring fries and holy moly. The juiciness, the seasoning, SO GOOD. My husband and I stopped here to grab some pizza's to go since they have a deal where their pizza's are half off on kings games! We ordered their Beef Bulgogi and their K Street Pizza. When I confirmed online they said the 50% off deal applied to the two pizzas. When I picked it up they have made and rung me up for a third pizza (pepperoni) and said the deal only applied if I got 3 pizzas... it didn't mention anything on the website or they never mentioned it on the phone. Not sure if that's real or they were just upselling a bit... so that was slightly disappointing. Besides the miscommunication and confusion, the pizzas weren't too bad! My favorite was the K Street but the Beef Bulgogi was a nice change in normal pizza combos. The place itself is massive. They have a ton of seating and a couple of TVs. After ice skating, came here for dinner. I was really interested in trying their Korean fusion pizza! They took over Pizza Rock. I ordered their beef bulgogi pizza and my date ordered BPM burger. Recently came here for lunch, and the staff were so friendly and killing it during the lunch rush. The food on the other hand, kine of mid. Mozzarella sticks were decent and huge. This spot recently opened in the DOCO area and I finally went with my coworkers as it's walkable from our offices. I was told to order their kids pizza because of the price, so I gave it a chance! I was very impressed; $9 for a good sized pizza was a steal! The food was slow coming out, but being new, it was understandable and they were very sweet, apologizing that it was taking longer for our food than it should've, and offered us a discount to come back. I have not heard much about this spot but stumbled upon it when looking up Hot & New Restaurants in town. They describe themselves as a Korean-Italian fusion restaurant. They opened up on K Street which has seen a lot of places close down recently so I really hope they'll increase their marketing and can survive the tough times! I called ahead to order for pickup and our order was ready within 15 minutes. Since it's on the main stretch of K Street, just plan ahead for parking purposes or just pull over and put your emergency blinkers on! The bulgogi pizza was a must, but I will definitely be back to try the japchae pizza! Upon opening up the box, I wasn't sure how good it would be because the crust seemed a little light. But the pizza was actually so delicious! I do wish it had more meat but the bites that did have bulgogi were bursts of flavor. I also liked that they paired it with a white sauce. This is about a 12" pizza so it could be shared by two people or just perfect for one hungry person. I think it was quite pricey for that size but otherwise I guess I can't think of another place around that I could get a bulgogi pizza... We also ordered garlic fries which I think were also overpriced at $9.95 but they were very flavorful. We also got charged for ranch which I didn't realize was an extra charge when I ordered on the phone until they rang us up. I don't mind paying for it but would just be nice if they were transparent about it rather than sneaky! Just got takeout from this place, thought we would try it out. We live right around the corner and when we got our food it was super cold. How was it so cold when we just had placed the order. Order placed at 7:10pm and picked up at 7:20pm. Ordered the Kimchi burger and Truffle/Prosciutto pizza. Burger was not good. Barely any meat and giant piece of carrot that made me feel like I was eating a carrot patty burger. Where was the cheese that it said it had? Pizza was gross. Oh man, I feel bad leaving this review. I didn't wanna come here but a colleague insisted or on a work trip from Southern California. I try to be optimistic and I ordered the meatballs and the kimchi spring rolls. The waiter was really nice and accommodated to dietary restriction questions. Which is basically just no dairy. The meatballs were way too salty. I struggled and ate too cause I was starving and the kimchi spring rolls or just unflavored mush ...fried. I picked up a few of my friends garlic fries, but they have sat at the counter for like five minutes so when they got to our table, they were cold. We left the full plate cause they're gross after they're cold. The restaurant itself is cute. Bulgogi pizza was interesting and tasty. Burger was juicy and filling. Fries were a little too thin for my tastes but probably kept cooking time down. The place was still somewhat empty around 7pm on a Friday night but will likely get busier as the party crowd looks for food and drinks before or after the evenings entertainment. Seems new and still working out some kinks. A tad expensive but a lot of food with leftovers. Pizza was probably a small to medium size and not what I'm used to in a personal pizza. The first men's restroom stall has a door that doesn't lock so swings open. Might want to get that fixed. Does everyone remember the restaurant that used to be on T street--TAKO? Well .. They're back under a new restaurant: BPM Burgers Pizza + More ! One of the things I missed from TAKO were literally the TAKOs! I was so happy to see that bulgogi tacos, fries, and especially the blueberry sauce were on the menu and made a comeback to Sacramento. When we got our order the flavors were just how we remembered them to be while slightly elevated! The fries were crisp and airy, the tacos with the chimichuri sauce and blueberry sauce had a great balance of flavor: sweet, savory, and refreshing. I was craving a burger with fries on my lunch and saw this place recently opened, so figured I'd stop by and give it a try. I'm new to the area so I didn't realize this used to be Pizza Rock, but if you're familiar with the previous restaurant you'll notice they still have the semi coming out of the wall, ceiling mural, and even the furniture. Most importantly, they still have the same wood fire oven to add a great flavor element to their pizzas. The place is enormous with plenty of seats available at the bar or tables, as well as outdoor seating. I got the "B is for Burger" + fries and wow, it's like they knew I was hungry. I'd just make sure I got grilled onions next time. I'll definitely be back to try their pizzas and a cocktail or two. Apparently they have happy hour from 2pm-6pm and 10pm-midnight. I would have given more stars but the bartender last night was so rude. We think he assumed that because two of the people in the group were acting drunk the whole group was. When we got to the bar our whole group ordered drinks and 2 pizzas. The bartender forgot to put in our food order and then when I asked him where it was he said "You never ordered it." When I asked him "How long will it take If we order it now?" his response was "Well you could have had it now if you had ordered it when you first sat down" When I repeated the question he then responded "Not fast enough" and walked away to take another order. What kind of terrible customer service?! I only gave 3 stars because one of the men serving noticed that we were getting frustrated and gave us free shots and made us laugh. Stick to just being a restaurant. Don't host nightlife if you don't have a system. I would never recommend going to this place at night if there's a performance. They are unorganized, unfair, and super unprofessional. They hosted bandas after party. It was my friend's birthday so one of our friends reserved through Instagram a booth for us . There are 10 of us girls. They stated we will be taken care of. We cannot have more than 10ppl and to be there by 10:15-10:30. 6 of us got there at 10:00p the other 2 are finding parking. They stated we can't get the booth until 8 people are here. Note there was no separate lines for booth or separate lines for regular admission like the other experienced clubs in Sacramento. So we waited outside to the side until the two who were finding parking arrived. Grant you when we showed up, they still had their restaurants lights on and not the night lights. In fact they haven't even set up anything so just know we were extremely early. We waited and saw so many others in line enter before us,. They paid a $20 cover charge. We saw a group of 3 boys have trouble paying $20. As in they either had no cash or their cards were declining. We waited for a while which we understood the rules so we waited patiently. I had to use the bathroom so me and my friend went inside to use the bathroom and we noticed all the booths were filled. The faces we saw outside who struggled to pay $20 to get in were occupying a booth and a booth of couples who we also saw pay $20 cover charge. I went back out to wait with everyone else. Once the rest of our friends got there , they finally took us inside and I was in complete distraught because we were sat at the farthest booth from the stage. Like the very last booth. I looked over to see the other booth and people who paid the GA were occupying those booths. So I asked the person working there and they stated those are reserved. I then asked "What do you mean? Those people paid GA, we watched them struggle to pay. Also I thought you had to wait until more than half your party is here before you get the booth? . Everyone in that booth didn't come all at once, so why did you guys make us wait? " They then moved us to the second booth from the stage. We were happy and finally we got something going as we waited forever. We finally got say at 10:45 . Another person came up to us stated that the booth we're in is reserved to the owner and to move us to the back again. I then became furious. To be moved twice is humiliating and also very rude. Also, why should we have a shitty spot when we got here long before everyone, we reserved the booth online. I told him "okay if these are reserved why don't you move us to the that one which is a booth or people who didn't even reserve." The guy then stated, "it's reserved." I said "no it's not, we literally watched all of them pay $20 cover charge and also, if it's reserved and we have to wait for our party to all be here then why did you didn't they wait for their party? We all watched them walk in one by one. And to be also told to only have max ten when every booth had about 15 people in them. I get it our booth was a comped booth. But us TEN females had every intention of buying more than one bottle because it's our friend's BIRTHDAY. At that point everyone was pissed. To be told to wait for the more people in the party while others went in and claimed the booths. To be moved twice to a shittier spot than the other broke boys who could barely afford admission and get this.. it gets worse. The tequila they provide was so bad. They didn't even give us an option of what tequilla bottle we wanted. They just gave us a bottle I have never heard of . It tasted like they mixed tequilla and water together. No one caught a buzz. It was the shittiest tequilla ever. The only thing I can say was the bottle girl was nice, she was the only one who apologized to us but the owners did nothing. Stick to making just food. My Wife and I ate here today and the Waitress accidently spilled an entire glass of ice water all over my Wife soaking her pants, wallet and purse. Her wallet and purse are both high grade leather and are now likely stained as a result. The Waitress felt horrible and did her best to clean up the mess and even went so far as to buy a $5.00 gift card out of her own pocket to try to make up for it. We felt rather bad for her and understand that accidents happen. We were rather surprised when the restaurant itself took no action whatsoever to try to make up for it. They did not even offer a discount off the total bill nor did they even bother to apologize for the incident. When I pointed that out to them all I received was a shrug of the shoulders from the Hostess/Manager on Duty. I was shocked! Growing up my Grandfather owned Italian Restaurants in NYC and if something like that was to happen he would have all but tripped over himself to make it right. This restaurant thought it was appropriate to do absolutely nothing and simply shrug their shoulders when it was brought to their attention. We did not accept the Gift Card that the Waitress Purchased with her own money as we did not feel that would have been appropriate. I've only been to BPM Pizza once, but it already won us over! My son and I love trying unique pizzas, and the bulgogi pizza was a hit--so flavorful and different! The biggest surprise? My kid keeps talking about the honey pear pizza. Not my vibe (blue cheese, ick), but he loves it. They're off to a great start with their creative flavors, so I'm happy to let him explore new tastes here. Everyone was friendly and the place was clean. Which is ok but is surprising. They went with an Asian movie that needs and has subtitles on, a tennis match on, animal planet and some kind of old rock concert that's muted. Just odd choices to me. They also have a full bar with unique cocktails like the cotton candy cosmo and an extensive draft beer list.
