While trying to be thoughtful, which doesn't happen as often as it should, I set out to buy some of that candy for my wife. It couldn't take but a few minutes, right? Needless to say I looked all over the place, over a period of several days, and nobody sold it. But recently a friend told me about an unusual store that sells unique candy, soda and other hard-to-find items. I found this business on Yelp and I was on my way here. Upon entering this Rocket Fizz, I was greeted by a friendly gentleman, the store owner. I made a short tour around the store, not finding my desired candy, and then the owner kindly asked if he could be of assistance. After telling him the candy that I was looking for he said that he would have a shipment coming later that day, with this candy included. Upon entering this store the following day, I was greeted by different store employees, the owner's sons. It turns out that this is a family-owned business. I should have known, because the young men helping me were just as friendly and professional as their father, each with a sincere smile and a desire to be helpful, which seems rather rare nowadays. They quickly directed me to my desired item. I left the store extremely pleased with my find, along with the service provided. It's very unusual to find someone that is willing to go out of their way for their customers, especially for a small purchase like mine. I'll be back. i've been going to this place for about 15 years and i've never had any issue until today, i came…read morein looking for thermals and the kind man in the printing area pointed me in 2 areas where i can find them 1 where there's a thermal set and 2 where there's thermal tops, while the thermal set was on the floor the tops weren't so i asked the young man on the floor where i can find them he said there wasn't any and when i asked if there was some in the back he told me there wasn't any in the store at all because they're not in season. so when i went back to the man in printing asking about the thermal sets, he assured me that they in fact DO have tops in the back also and proceeded to ask the man (penny or benny im not sure) on the floor to get them for me and that's when i noticed the man on the floor was visually upset that he had to go grab the thermal from the back. he asked what color i wanted and i told him & he brought it out for me and i tried it on and when i asked for another color he said we only have black which i don't know if that was true because he lied about not having thermals in general so i asked for a different size and before going to the back he asked me "are you even going to buy it"...NEVER have i ever been asked by any retail associate anywhere "are you even going to buy it" i told him yes i just need to know what size fits me best. he brought it out and i went to check out *there was no one else there at this time* and as he saw me waiting to check out he kept folding clothes until he finished and then checked me out. i felt so disrespected & disappointed i was treated this way, mind you i'll say again i've been going here for almost 15 years maybe more and never had any issue and it sucks because i love this place all around but the customer service sucked, the man in printing was great & very helpful and without him i would've left empty handed. i almost feel bad leaving this review but 1 persons actions reflect the business as a whole & this experience deserved a review
