It was so last minute I had to pay for a dress with a raw hemline, mismatched seams, and globs of hot glue just so I could take it to a proper tailor who rushed the repairs overnight so we could have it ready. She has actively avoided my calls, my complaint to BBB and even sent her staff to deal with this because she has no moral compass to fix what she knows she messed up. Not to mention lying on the phone about who she was so she didn't have to talk to me. I will never return to that store and advise you not to as well. The owner is a scam artist.

We even took a video to make sure but no one could get it. I had 7 people try to help me and collectively we all couldn't do it. No need for multiple revisions and fittings, just knocked it out of the park. Soheila was tasked with shortening my wedding gown, repairing broken beaded straps, and adding a bustle. The detail work on the bottom incudes delicate boning, lace/embroidery, bead work, and sequins. She had to remove each individual flower, take off one continuous thread of beading and sequins, shorten it, re-do the boning, and then put everything back together. It looks absolutely flawless and the way it hangs defies gravity. I truly feel like a princess when I wear it. The bustle in the back is easy to secure, sturdy for dancing, and is perfectly placed such as to highlight the contours of my derrière, if you will. Soheila must have spent many, many hours on my gown and still offered a more competitive price than other tailors I spoke with. I ended up choosing her over other tailors because she genuinely loves her job and seemed so joyful to offer her skills to make my day special. She is quick, communicative, sweet, reasonably priced, and an absolute master of her craft. I know I am supposed to think about my husband as I walk down the aisle, but I'm pretty sure I will think of Soheila at least for a moment.

I've seen better tailoring from aunties in Chinatown; at least they pretend to negotiate the price. No discounts were offered at Valencia Suits and Tux, and the overall quality doesn't justify the cost. I've purchased far better suits in the past, but I was short on time and settled.
