Trying to buy a suit for my 16 year old son. Staff is almost nowhere to be found and as my son and I were looking for a fitting room and going about the store the 2 staff members just stood there until I had to ask them where the fitting room is with a 'don't care attitude'. Plus when I asked another staff member to assist us with finding a pair of pants for the jacket he liked, she was no help at all. For a high quality clothing line. Service should be at the same level. So we left. read more

This h&m has to be by far the worst ever. They don't even deserve the one star. I went there right when the store was opening. They're supposed to open at 11am and off course myself and couple other guests are just standing outside while there gate is still locked and every other store has opened for business. I'm trying to get the associates attention like hello what's going on??? Off course no one acknowledges me. Finally this unprofessional rude boy by the name of JOSEPH comes up with his attitude trying to open the gate. When I ask why they haven't opened the store he tells me because are registers weren't open yet. After going back and forth and explaining to Joseph why he wouldn't let us know the reason for them not opening yet. He starts getting crazy with me and stating I'm giving attitude, and says he will call security on me. I've never ever felt so offended by anybody like this in my life. Shame on the poor management to hire someone like this. I couldn't help myself and got very annoyed and told him how he needs to do his job because apparently he's never been properly trained. Another female associate In the back claiming I was cursing. This place was a joke not to mention I was with my elder mom that was witnessing everything going on. I told Them no need to call security as I was leaving. Why would I shop from this store that will make there customers feel very uncomfortable and unwanted. Went to Antelope Valley Mall H&M today for back to school shopping. My daughter spent some time picking out clothing and needed to try them on but dressing room was closed. I asked staff if fitting room could be opened and was told that it could not be opened because she was the only staff in the store and she needed to stay at register. I was told other staff were in back working in 'special project". Left all the clothes because could not buy if daughter could not try on. Absolutely ridiculous! read more

Ok star 1. The staff is always so helpful and nice. Especially the guy who's always in the fitting room. They really cater to the customers. Star 2. Nice accessory area. Most trendy stores have a overly crowded messy accessory area. They do well keeping it nice. Star 3. They have a separate area for the kids section. May not sound like much but trust me everything in one room = hectic. I want the who net to go thata way. Now on to the -2 stars the first is that they really need to stop over packing the clearance. I cut my hand trying to look at the lower priced items but it's like they don't want you to. I was nice and didn't make a big deal about it but I'm still in my feelings because my hand hurts. This location is one of my favorites. The location : Located inside of the Antelope Valley Mall, this is the largest and most organized store that I have ever been to, including the Atlantic Station (ATL) and Time Square (NY) locations. This place is huge ! The lighting is amazing -- looks like Saks when you walk in. The merchandiser here should get a raise. The handbags and jewelry section is probably my favorite; everything is displayed, instead of just being squeezed together with a sign. I had a hard time finding the clearance section because even that looked great! The selection : More than I'm used to. I can usually never find shoes in my size (10) and I rarely see anything in clearance that I like. I was floored. I think I went back up to the register three times. There were so many great bags ! I ended up buying a little pocketbook, a sweater, a dress, some leggings, and a top. I'm going back for a hat. Speaking of.. When I went to the dressing room, the attendant kept my hat and said that she would bring it to me to try on with some of the outfits, and then she left. I understand that policy may not allow hats into the dressing room, but don't tell me you're going to help me out and then leave a player stranded. It's 2015. Mehhhhhh. read more

No stars!!! This is a horrible store. Every single employee is unprofessional, lacks common courtesy, rude, snobby, and disrespectful. Every single employee needs to be retrained and/or fired. I expect to be greeted when I walk into a store and catered to. I was told by the store manager and I was not able to purchase an item because it was being counted towards their inventory. So i went into this store to buy my son an outfit. While shopping i noticed a $4.99 rack. It had some nice clothes on it. I found a blazer that fit my son perfectly. The line was ridiculous. Sooo long!! BUT.. I didnt want to miss out on the sale! I finally got to the register just to be told the jacket was actually $40. I showed them the rack and they apologized and said "it must of been put there on accident." I replied "there is about 15 on the rack its not just this one im buying." I didnt lose my cool because i knew they would honor their marked price because they have to. NOPE.. I asked to speak to the manager and she said they can put whatever they want on the rack as long as 1 thing on that rack is $4.99. So they could have an entire rack 20 feet long with a sign that says $1.00. And put whatever you want on that rack as long as 1 item on that rack is $1.00. I called H&M corporate and they said they will contact the store. Basically told me to go pound sand. Never shopping here again. I guess they figure if you wait in line for 30 mins youll be ok with being mislead. read more

I will not return to this H&M again, I would rather drive down to Valencia to go to there store rather than coming to this one. The so call manager MATT was one of the rudest managers I have ever delt with. I was asking for a simple return or even an exchange I had bought only 3 hours before and he was blaming me for some scuff on some shoes that probably was tried on by multiple customers before my purchase. He was rude and not helpful at all. If you guys want customers to come back to this store, change your management team and actually learn some good customer service. Horrible service, only have 2 registers, one is closed majority of the time especially during holidays. Return policy is beyond stupid. I returned some jeans because they were too small, the gentleman at the register asked if I had worn them, I proceeded and said yes to try them on, mind you the tags were still on. I absolutely love this store! I go here all the time to shop during my lunch and the variety of clothes they carry are so classy! They always have great sales and the fitting rooms have perfect lighting! One employee named Kevin is always so sweet and welcoming. He has seen me come in so many times and he always seems happy to see me. He even told me about receiving 15% off every time I donate clothes. Do not come to this store if you expect to find anything that will reasonably fit a woman over 15. I am 130 pounds, usually sized 4-6, and absolutely nothing in this store fit. The clothes that /did/ fit were made from cheap fabric that was itchy and uncomfortable. The pants that fit (I had to put on a size 10 when again, normally a 4) were see through. I could very easily make out my underwear. The bras were horribly shaped and uncomfortable, the shirts could fit a five year old but not a 21 year old. The changing rooms were dirty and the lights kept going out as well. Overall this was the worst shopping trip I've ever had. It's a shame because some of the styles were really cute, but the fabrics were trash and the sizing was awful. The only good thing I can say about this H&M is that the employees were nice. read more

Decent sized H&m, I've been to larger but that's ok. It's organized, the selection is right on, but that's not the best part, the best part is the customer service. Came here on a Tuesday evening around 5:30p 1/6/15 and the staff was just amazing. They were willing to help with questions that I had. I live far so I just come by when I visit family in the area. I don't expect personal shopping. I wanted to find something because I wanted to see what my options would be and they delivered. Customer service was great!! Only reason for 4 stars is because some clothes in the past have shrunk funny after washing even with following the label. read more

Very bad quality service by the store manager. Although I purchased H&M clothing all over the world and haven't any issues before with any store or online stores for return policies, this store manager was disappointing me and doesn't rely on what the customer is telling. I returned a shorts, which I bought a week earlier at this store but the short was damaged unfortunately by the nail of my finger while wearing this shorts... For me it was obvious that the damage was caused due to poor quality. Unfortunately I could not return it due to the fact (according to the store manager) I damaged the short instead of it was caused due to poor quality. It was a $25,- part which I can throw away now. The service was really good. They had mostly everything I needed. There were some shorts that weren't in my size, but I know that's not the staffs fault. They probably just sold out. The girl on the floor showed me the shorts in a different color that were my size. So that was good. The line at the register was not too long, and the associates were doing their best to get the line down. So this review is strictly for the way an "attempted" return was handled. A little background, I bought several things online for my 2 year old daughter. When the order came, I removed all the tags (stupid on my part). Several days later, I put one of the sweaters on my daughter and it was too small. So, I took the sweater in store, so I could exchange it for a bigger size. When I handed it to Oscar, the cashier, he would not accept it. He acted as if it had been worn and I was trying to scam them. Please! When I am purchasing over $100 worth of merchandise, and paying cash, I am not trying to scam you. To add to it, my husband, who is also irritated, simply wiped the food off the sweater - completely removing it. Bottom line - I love the clothes here. The store is nicely kept. But, the cashier and the way the return was handled was poor. I have never experienced something like this before. I went to this h&m yesterday and received terrible customer service. The supervisor or whoever he is named Matt was extremely rude. I purchased multiple items, and only wanted to return some under garments I had purchased. He told me "how do I know those haven't been up your crack?" How can anyone, most of all a manager, say this to a customer. And this was in front of other customers. I contacted corporate and they refuse to discipline this associate. The store is terrible! Not only it's full of shapeless, overpriced items, but their sales associates are absolutely ridiculous. If you bring something back to return they check every inch of the item. They turn it inside out, smell it, lick it, etc. I understand that their return policy prevents accepting of used items, but It's pretty clear if the item is brand new or used, they don't need to make fools of themselves by doing that humiliating ritual. read more

The worst store in the antelope valley mall. First of all, they have the same clothing from when they first opened; they hardly ever get new styles! Secondly, the customer service is horrible. I asked if they had another shirt in a different size and one of the associates literally looked for a second at the shirt and said "nope", like he did not care at all. None of the associates are helpful, the store is pretty messy and it's just awful. H&m in santa monica or Valencia is sooo much nicer. Luckily I did not get to meet this Matt character as he seems like a total prick. But I did go into shop today, 8/01/2015, and was given great advice by Kevin. He had a lot of useful Input and advice and helped me find the right size of pants and shirts. Both ladies who were working today as well were very nice and made sure I was doing okay. the manager matt is very rude and disrespectful he would not do a simple exchange, i will never be going back to this location. i usually shop at the location in Valencia because i know people that work there and the district manager has informed me this is a troubled store. i guess when a new store opens they hire unexperienced managers to run them. i myself am a manager for a retail store and i always try to help out my clients with exchanges and returns and always trying my best to have my clients leave knowing that they can shop at my store and not worry about returns and exchanges.... i would not recommend this store at all the drive is worth it to Valencia or even hollywood trust. read more
