I went to Nardone Brothers not knowing exactly what I wanted ...I spoke to Eddie and he was very helpful with suggestions ...He was interested in making sure that my choice of sofa loveseat would fit In the condo complex . I showed him what I wanted and he make me aware that would not fit up the stair in condo.. His suggestion was to get recliners since they come apart to better fit. I was not sure I wanted recliners ..I said I would think abou it. I came back two days later and was met with Steve I requested I look at recliners as suggested . I did like the choice he provided I decided on gray sofa and love seat.. A quote for the work was quickly received, provided delivery date .He said that Eddie and himself would be delivering the furniture and make sure all went well I was very impress with their friendliness and I felt like family I was so impress with the customer service highly recommend Nardone Brothers they treat you like family not a number They listened to me patiently and answered my every question. These folks are as nice as can be, price competitive and have been part of the local fabric for a long time. He is a master of his craft, and this is an art form that is all but disappearing since everything is being made by machines nowadays. He does it all by hand with a keen eye and experience. He's a very friendly guy who welcomed us and was easy to talk with. He gave us a history of his business, how he came about to doing this, and showed us some the items he was restoring. He does a wonderful job, and his work speaks for itself. It's such an old school type of shop and we loved his stories, along with chatting about business in general.

I've ordered numerous window treatments, furniture and bedding from them. They make everything custom and local which is nice given that I love to support local businesses. Also sustainable They are experts in their field. Yien has a background in textiles and fashion and Leon is an amazing furniture designer and carpenter. They have what you need to finish, and always are full of experience / knowledge of the interior design field. Absolute pleasure to work with. They also work with a budget which is useful if you're doing a hospitality project or have a whole house to fill with curtains, shades, upholstery.

The usual suspects (Home Goods, Pier One, Crate and Barrel, etc.) just didn't have what we were looking for. While walking by this store we literally stopped in our tracks because their fabrics were so unique! We started with the larger throw pillows in red. The shop owners were very helpful, sent us pics as they were being made and shipped promptly to our home. A month later when had more pillow needs we knew just where to go. The second set are the cherry blossom pillows. These were sent with a hand written note. If you are truly looking for something hand made of high quality check this store out.

But for smaller sales - this might not be the place. I wanted to update my bedroom with a few new pieces. Came with measurements and a floor plan and my designer came up with a really creative way to set up my room. Sounds great - right? It was, until when the furniture was delivered, I discovered my designer had ordered the wrong size dresser/chest unit. It fits in my room but not in the way I thought it could be arranged. I called the store immediately, the designer came to the phone but offered no apologies, no options. It's a custom piece, of course, so I can't return it. But I am deeply disappointed and will not use this particular Ethan Allen again. Buying furniture should be fun - and for the price, their customers should be thrilled with how the room turns out. I can't dump tens of thousands on furniture right now - there will be plenty of business for them over time.

Ordered custom furniture for a new home that was being completed. Unfortunately there was an…read moreexplosion in the home just prior to purchasing it and I was forced to postpone the delivery of my furniture order (had nothing occurred the order would have been able to be delivered on time). This is where Ethan Allen customer service fell apart. Other vendors gladly agreed to hold my orders for many months with no issues due to the unusual unforeseen circumstances Ethan Allen refused to extend the time of holding my furniture frequently citing the terms of the contract that I had signed and that it "wasn't their fault". They wanted to force me to pay outrageous storage fees and to pay for the furniture in full, site unseen. I was forced to secure a unit at a storage facility near the property and have the furniture delivered there. This is still an expense, but much cheaper option than what Ethan Allen was going to charge me for storage. They even had the nerve to not deliver the complete order to the storage facility. They had to make a 2nd delivery to the unit a week later with the missing items. The storage unit is near my new home but is a 200 mile round trip from where I am temporarily living. So I had to travel a total of 400 miles because of their negligence with the delivery. Manager Barbara and salesperson Deborah were absolutely abominable and have zero compassion or customer service skills. I realize what occurred fell outside the parameters of their precious contract, but this was a very unique and unusual situation which required them looking past all that to help out a customer. Shame on Ethan Allen. They represent themselves as a high end store...when you are purchasing. Once the purchase has been finalized their true colors shine through. ** I live in Congers NY.
