I am extremely happy with the renovation of a kitchen and two bathrooms done by Marie Frenkel (…read moreDreamStyle Kitchens & Baths) Marie custom designed a kitchen perfectly fitted to my needs. She came up with original ideas which gave me much more cabinet space as well as an appliance garage, which enables me to keep my counters clutter free. She also came up with a special "cove" for my cat, while creating a mini desk area for me with more drawers and cabinets and shelves for my cookbooks while creating a more spacious kitchen. Marie has excellent taste and practical ideas, She listens well to what you want and helps you come up with a design, cabinets, backsplash, tiles etc that you love. Marie is practical and gets the big picture as well as being detailed oriented. She coordinates extremely well with the contractor, cabinet company and stays on top of everything. She returns calls, emails, or texts promptly. She is a consummate professional, a caring person who is totally invested in the work she does for you. I cannot recommend Marie more highly. She made the whole renovation process easier and more fun. Janet Catalina

If you are in the market for a kitchen renovation and happen to come across Ashley Kitchen & Bath…read moredba DunRite construction II, Run, do not walk, away. Pre-sale, the owner is Superman, his crew can do everything and he has extensive experience with renovating older structures. Dunrite did not do electrical work to code, made contractual changes without change orders and issued change orders after performing work. CO pricing was outrageous. Work is amateurish at best, in violation of electrical code. Dunrite disconnected a portion of our heating system to perform modifications and hooked the zone back up in a loop - disconnected from the furnace. Called to have them fix it and his voicemail box is full.

We contracted Ashley Kitchen & Bath to do a total remodel of our kitchen. Bobby and his designer,…read moreLiz, gave us a few possible options, all of which looked good. They started the project on time and finished ahead of schedule. The crew showed up at 7:00am most days and even put in a few Saturdays. The crew was neat and considerate of our needs (hey, a few weeks without a kitchen isn't easy, even with a great team, but they were pleasant and tried to make it as painless and quick as possible). Also, for many years, I'd wanted to replace my decaying deck. Ashley K&B came back a week later to do a total take down and rebuild of our deck. It's beautiful! And solid. I only wish I'd hired them sooner. They were quick, but Fall was quicker. I may not get to fully enjoy my outdoor space until next Spring, but we're very much looking forward to it.

Great job guys and I couldn't be happier. A couple of minor things to finish up and then I'll be in for the shower doors.

Bobby was upfront about the estimates and was in constant contact with us. He made himself available for all our questions and concerns, especially about the state of our roof - which needed help. His crew did incredible work, they were swift and efficient and extremely polite. They cleaned up and removed all debris and packing materials. Considering the amount of work we had done, and the current economy and cost of materials, the price we paid for all the work to be done has added tremendous value to our home.

He came to my house and promised my wife and I that he could complete the job quicker than any of our other potential contractors, and also much cheaper. We had a new born and a disabled child to care for so we wanted to get the project done asap. He collected our payments on schedule, as specified on our contract, but the work was not getting done on schedule. He kept making up excuses why he couldn't complete the work. After a while he basically went in hiding, we reached out to his secretary Liz, who gave us some bs, stating she couldn't get in touch with him either. Long story short, we had to find another contractor to complete the project and then sued Dunrite for the incompleted portions. We won the case but he still has not paid the judgment. Not only were they about $1,000 less expensive than the other companies we looked at, they were very friendly and accommodating. When our kitchen cabinets and our master bathroom vanity were installed and it was time for the countertops, they were able to come measure, and create the perfect countertops in less than a week! And I say perfect countertops because everything was AMAZING! They were able to cut one piece to fit around the corner!! Everything fit exactly to measurements! And they even matched up the veins in the quartz so that it looks like it flows from the island across to the wall cabinets! But the master vanity is the most incredible of all. We ordered a backsplash with it for the 2 sides with a wall, and they surprised us by matching the backsplash piece to exactly match the countertop in terms of the stone's patterns!!! We have been in the home improvement business for over 40 years and have never seen that kind of perfectly matching stone before!
