I am extremely happy with the renovation of a kitchen and two bathrooms done by Marie Frenkel (…read moreDreamStyle Kitchens & Baths) Marie custom designed a kitchen perfectly fitted to my needs. She came up with original ideas which gave me much more cabinet space as well as an appliance garage, which enables me to keep my counters clutter free. She also came up with a special "cove" for my cat, while creating a mini desk area for me with more drawers and cabinets and shelves for my cookbooks while creating a more spacious kitchen. Marie has excellent taste and practical ideas, She listens well to what you want and helps you come up with a design, cabinets, backsplash, tiles etc that you love. Marie is practical and gets the big picture as well as being detailed oriented. She coordinates extremely well with the contractor, cabinet company and stays on top of everything. She returns calls, emails, or texts promptly. She is a consummate professional, a caring person who is totally invested in the work she does for you. I cannot recommend Marie more highly. She made the whole renovation process easier and more fun. Janet Catalina

My husband and I hired Bobby and his crew for basically an entire facelift of our house. New deck,…read morenew deck stairs, new siding, new roof, new fencing, concrete repair and a new front door. Bobby was upfront about the estimates and was in constant contact with us. He made himself available for all our questions and concerns, especially about the state of our roof - which needed help. His crew did incredible work, they were swift and efficient and extremely polite. They cleaned up and removed all debris and packing materials. Considering the amount of work we had done, and the current economy and cost of materials, the price we paid for all the work to be done has added tremendous value to our home.

He came to my house and promised my wife and I that he could complete the job quicker than any of our other potential contractors, and also much cheaper. We had a new born and a disabled child to care for so we wanted to get the project done asap. He collected our payments on schedule, as specified on our contract, but the work was not getting done on schedule. He kept making up excuses why he couldn't complete the work. After a while he basically went in hiding, we reached out to his secretary Liz, who gave us some bs, stating she couldn't get in touch with him either. Long story short, we had to find another contractor to complete the project and then sued Dunrite for the incompleted portions. We won the case but he still has not paid the judgment. Stay away from this guy.

We recently installed a new kitchen, and went to Putnam Granite for an estimate on the quartz…read morecountertop that we wanted. Not only were they about $1,000 less expensive than the other companies we looked at, they were very friendly and accommodating. When our kitchen cabinets and our master bathroom vanity were installed and it was time for the countertops, they were able to come measure, and create the perfect countertops in less than a week! And I say perfect countertops because everything was AMAZING! They were able to cut one piece to fit around the corner!! Everything fit exactly to measurements! And they even matched up the veins in the quartz so that it looks like it flows from the island across to the wall cabinets! But the master vanity is the most incredible of all. We ordered a backsplash with it for the 2 sides with a wall, and they surprised us by matching the backsplash piece to exactly match the countertop in terms of the stone's patterns!!! We have been in the home improvement business for over 40 years and have never seen that kind of perfectly matching stone before! We HIGHLY recommend using Putnam Granite & Stone Fabrication, Inc at 100 Buckshollow Rd in Mahopac, NY!
