    Spicy Garlic Chicken
    Food Try It All D.

It's Locally HMONG own food spot. So I came and try their rice bowls. To be honest it was on the salty side and kinda bland. But it's super budget friendly. I got their spicy chicken garlic bowl. But I will come back to try their other rice bowls as well as their potatoes bowl. Plus it's budget friendly and you can beat that.

    2 Thai chicken family trays.

Let's just say I took a mini road trip SPECIFICALLY for bowlzeye 3hrs to be exact lol. This got to be the best hole in the wall place standing when it comes to rice type bowls. I've had all of them but THIS THAI CHICKEN BOWL GO CRAZY!!!!!Flavor, flavor , flavor!!!! I promise you won't miss with what you get. Come here every time I'm in town but hadn't had it in so long me and my girl took the drive. Customer service is always super friendly and the price is super low for what you get. This my spot fr. Only complaint is they not in the Bay Area.

    New Dish: Garlic Noodles.

Never been disappointed here. Food is always fresh. The customer service is 10/10. You can tell Donovan (the owner) takes pride in his customer service and his food. Ive been coming here for a couple of years now when I need something fast and somewhat healthy since he has the chicken teriyaki plates. He just recently came out with a new dish (garlic noodles) and I had to try it. Overall the garlic noodles were good. It was nothing special but for $5 it was enough to get me full. The place inside is a bit small and janky. So they don't really have a place to sit down and eat besides two small tables outside. I mainly do a grab and go there so it does not bother me. I had to leave a great review on this place.

    Cowboy potato

Pros: Good service. Food was good. Price was fair for portion size and quality. Cons: Hours for store are a bit limited. Parking is limited. Note: Takeout only at the time of review.

    Nameless Potato, Thai Bowl

I used to come here all the time for the Nameless Potato and the Thai bowl. I moved out of state 3 years ago and I miss it!! I was in town today and ordered both, and they're just as good as I remember! I love and miss this place.

First time there. The owner was very friendly. Got the spicy garlic chicken plate with extra chicken for about $11 and some change. The chicken was so tender and the sauce had a good balance of flavor and spiciness. I'll definitely be going back!

Our food was for pickup and everything was ready on time and piping hot. We ordered a lot because we weren't sure of the portion sizes, but they were massive so we had leftovers for days! We ordered steamed pork buns, orange chicken, crispy sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, low mein, and Yangzhou Fried Rice. Everything was delicious and loaded with flavor. The standouts were the yangzhou fried rice which comes with shrimp, chicken, and vegetables. Loved all the meat here and big chunks of veggies. We all loved the orange chicken and the crispy fried pork especially. I tried to get my kids to sample the steam pork buns, but they wouldn't, which just meant more for me! Pillowy soft and full of tender BBQ pork, they were my fave. Truly a hidden gem right in the heart of Clovis!

The menu presented extensive and adventurous options that as first timers could have been intimidating but with the help of Donavin our delightful server, we selected the perfect seafood salad for the Mrs. and the curated selection of Maki (delicious sushi "tacos") that together made for the perfect share. Located in the Barnyard shopping center this Vietnamese restaurant is a little dated, but don't let the decor deter you. The food is in incredible! I ordered a large bowl with thin sliced meat balls along with spring rolls for the table. First off, I should've gotten a small bowl of pho, the large bowls here are massive. I had plenty of leftover for the next day and the day after! The broth was delicious with deep rich flavors and the noodles were slightly al dente, which I loved. I couldn't help myself and active point picked up my bowl and just started sipping the broth. My wife ordered the same thing as I, minus the meatballs and she too, could not get over how much flavor the broth had, almost like they had been slow cooking this for the past three days straight. The spring rolls were 100% handmade and the filling inside was delicious. We did bring our kids with us and we're definitely nervous because they are very picky eaters. They do offer a kids menu, but there isn't much to it. It's basically rice broth and your choice of meat. We ordered my 4-year-old daughter a small bowl of rice with broth and chicken; she loved this and kept asking for more! My son (7) went big and ordered pho with squid... he inhaled everything! Even asking if we could order more squid on the side to which we did and he ate that as well. This was huge win for mom and dad, now we can do pho to the family dining out rotation. This is a family own restaurant and the staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. Branden, our server, help to answer any questions and was very attentive to make sure we had everything we needed!

Whether you're craving sushi, teriyaki, or ramen, they really have something for everyone. The sushi and sashimi are incredibly fresh -- honestly some of the freshest fish we've had at any sushi restaurant. It tastes like the chef went out and caught it that morning. The 14-piece sashimi platter with a couple of rolls was more than enough for two people, and everything was excellent quality. The ramen is also fantastic, but fair warning: the bowls are HUGE, so definitely come hungry. Their garlic edamame is absolutely addictive, and we really enjoyed the poke in the seaweed poke salad, though the dish does lean very heavily on the seaweed, so just keep that in mind before ordering. Cassidy is new to the restaurant and waited on us. an Shewas wonderful -- super friendly, attentive, patient, and just genuinely great service all around. The only downside was the new menu design. The moment we walked in and sat down to our table, we did't feel welcomed. Our server was very short with us and seemed annoyed. Initially, they were pushy on having us order assuming we have been there before. It was our first time and we didn't even get a chance to look at the menu yet as we just sat down. Throughout the service, our server never offered us water or came to check up on us. It was an off vibe like they were having a bad day and it resonated to us. The food was a big letdown. We ordered the agedashi tofu, earthquake roll, big boy, fireball roll, and a sashimi appetizer. Each item we ordered had an issue. The agedashi tofu was super bland and the broth didn't pair well with it. I've had this dish several times at other locations and this wasn't up to par. The rolls were drowning in sauce and ruined their texture. The rice was also overcooked and very soggy. Soggy rice drowning in sauce is not a good combination. Lastly, the sashimi appetizer was served lukewarm. Each piece of fish had a mushy texture instead of being firm, and it didn't taste fresh. Perhaps serving them on top of ice to keep it cold would help. Plus, the miso soup was very salty. Overall, it was a very disappointing first visit, and unfortunately, I don't see myself coming back.
