It was my brother's birthday and since he likes to bowl we decided to go here. I used to bowl here a long, long time ago when it was called Bahama Lanes. It has changed a couple times since then. Now it is more of a bar type place. The lanes are dark but lighted in a blue hue. This is a place where you just want to hang out with friends. Not a place if you are a serious bowler. This place is so bad I wish I could rate it ZERO stars. First of all, their 'arcade cards' are over-priced and then once you pay, they give you these offers that could make what you had already spent a bad deal. For example, I had a twenty dollar bill. I used it to get their twenty dollar deal. Then, I was given an offer where, if I had split my twenty into two tens and only spent ten dollars on the first deal and spent the second on their second, hidden deal, I could've gotten ten more chips then I got for the same amount of money! Then, once you acquire tickets, or points, on your arcade card, you can cash them out. You do this only to find that things like glowing slime cost 1500 ticket points when in an hour I had only amassed 184. Also, most of the prizes are missing. So what, you may be thinking, I came to this place for the bowling! I had that exact thought as well. Sadly, while playing my game, the machine that picks up the pins failed to function 6 times!!! This wasted about 40 minutes of my time. After these six failures and having to send three people to talk to the front desk workers about 9-10 times, we were EVENTUALLY moved to another lane, where THE SAME THING HAPPENED! Our experience was so bad that the front desk worker refused to let us pay and LITERALLY INSISTED that we get a refund. Sadly they could not refund the 3 hours of my life I spent suffering in their establishment. They're only redeeming quality was their food that tasted ok. However, no one goes to a bowling place with only the intention of eating. :( read more

This review is for a kid's birthday party. I booked over the phone with Sarah. She was very nice and a pleasure to deal with. She even gave me bonus arcade cards. The place was clean and the arcade games were great! I especially liked that they had a lit up sign of my son's name. That was a special touch. The check-in was easy as we showed up when they opened. Bowling was fun. I liked the music and videos they played on the screens. The food came out quickly and quality was better than other kids' party venues. The kids had a blast. Service was good. Staff here are rude and honestly ruined the whole bowling experience. Boyfriend came here with a group of coworkers on a Wednesday evening and one specific wait staff was either having a bad day or just doesn't know how to talk to customers. Had a work party here for about 100 people and it was the best, easiest event I have ever coordinated! Jessica helped with most of the planning. She offered an excellent event package (Southern Italian 2 is a great food package!) and answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly. Her communication was excellent and she followed up consistently, even when there was a delay in us getting funding for the event. Jessica was on vacay the week of the event, so Nicole finalized our payment. Again, great follow up and communication. Kevin, the manager, greeted me when I arrived, showed me around and explained the whole set up and how the event would run. He was there all day, very present if I needed him, but I didn't because they took care of everything without any prodding. Set up was beautiful and well thought out. Letty and Amanda, along with Kevin, took care of all the details throughout the event. Food was delicious and they kept it refilled throughout the event. They also made sure dirty dishes were picked up swiftly and everything was clean/tidy the entire time. This is a great venue and the staff is beyond awesome!! Very disappointed at this place. Very pretty inside. That's about it! Way overpriced. It cost us $8.95 a person to bowl. The drinks ? Forget about it! 4 Beers 16.ounce beers cost $40!!! One pretty mason hat like drink $10.95 and had zero alcohol in it and I'm a lightweight drinker that gets buzzed off half a beer... my cocktail was horrible just very sweet. Honestly hadn't been bowling in ages, but this was really fun! I recommend going on Mondays because it's unlimited games for $15 a person which is a great price. Monday night food/bar service is a little slow, so make sure that your patient. It's clean, even the bathrooms, which always seems to be a hit or miss thing when it comes to bowling alleys. Went here with the kids and it was fun. We all had a great time but when we first arrived we were told by a gentleman that the price was $7.99 per person per game. Ok great. I wasn't sure if we had to go order at the bar or if someone would come and take our order so after about 10 minutes or no one coming by I went to the front area where the cash registers were to ask. I just wanted to let you know that the price is actually $11.99" I said, ummm ok so it's changed again? He said yes, I'm sorry about that I'll make sure to discount 2 of your shoes. I said ok that's fine. I didn't appreciate that he didn't know what the actual price was for the games. How can you change it 3 times on me and if I hadn't came up to the register would anyone have come to me and told me about the change in price or would they have just charged my card without telling me? We came here with a group of 7 for some bowling fun. It's been awhile since any us has been bowling. We should have booked reservations on a busy Saturday night. It took about 30 minutes to get one lane. They do have specials on each day of the week. For Saturdays 6pm-close, it's $8.99/game and $6.14 shoe rental. There are also Groupon deals but it's not valid on weekends after 6pm. Bowlero is a new addition to the plaza. They have a sports bar, billiards area, arcade and lounge area. For being new facility with 31 lanes, there were not enough bowling balls to accommodate everyone. We had to share with another group in the lane next to us. The shoes are so worn out. I was given a pair that was so used and abused. Tip: if you're an avid bowler, purchase a pair of your own shoes. Sharing is so unsanitary. We probably won't come out here again. There are so many other locations that are closer to home. read more

Been to this bowling alley when it had different names before it was Bowlero. This is the first time we've been here since it's been modernized where the service sucked. Posted a pic along with this review. It was taken about 2/3 of the way into our game, I wanted to give the staff some time to get their sh*t together. But alas, our table pretty much stayed that way during our entire game. 4 people, 2 are kids below 5, so it was a pretty long game. Not once did anyone come to check on us. We knew it was busy, we waited almost 45 min for a lane so we understood. But really? No one? Not even to clean up after the party who obviously ordered a lot on the menu that used the lanes before us? We were gonna order some snacks and drinks, but since no one bothered to care, we just went to Islands after playing. It would've been nice to get a pic of the final scores since the kids beat the adults (they were using bumpers, but still) but our screen and the lights on our lane turned off immediately after my son had his last turn. I have a feeling the family that came along wants to use both lanes so we were pretty much getting kicked out. 2 stars just cuz we actually had fun in their arcade while we waited. Their living room set up with the fake fireplace was nice. The bathroom can use more frequent cleaning and upkeep. read more

I celebrated my birthday at this location and will definitely be returning. I had a total of three lanes reserved and was helped by Odessa throughout the night. She was absolutely phenomenal! She was extremely helpful, kind, and went above and beyond for my group of 15+. The menu is pretty well rounded, and the facility has a fully stocked bar. There are plenty of lanes and an arcade. If you visit on your birthday, you're gifted with a $5 game card. What I enjoyed most about the location was the service! I was able to enjoy my time bowling since I didn't have to worry about hosting. The facility provided everything, including cutting and serving my cake. The pricing was overall reasonable. The drinks were delicious, I had the Forbidden Fruit, and the food was tasty. They have many platter options and group drinks for purchase. We had two 100z beer towers, $30 each, which served about 5-6 glasses each. If you are in a group, a debit card is needed to open a tab. Once you're ready to check out, the front desk individually charges everyone for their games, shoes, food, and drinks. This made checking out very convenient since everyone paid separately. The upside is this place is clean and the smell of hot feet is subtler than some of it's competitors. It's got a fairly cool arcade and bar and even a pool table, did I mention it was clean. The downside to this place is it's well fucking expensive, compared to other places who charge by the hour this place charges by the person and it adds up rather quickly. Not to mention the actual lanes are constantly having issues specifically with the lighter balls getting stuck or the systems freezing. The staff are the sweetest and friendliest teens you'll ever meet who will adamantly agree to anything you say, with responses like, we'll get right on it, insider tip this generally means that they have heard what you had to say and appreciate that you are having issues but would rather reach level 96 on candy crush then hear another word out of your dumbass mouth. Also their house ball selection is just underwhelming, very generic and extremely limited size selection, I think I counted 4 total weights, with balls often punched twice just to save money. If you are even remotely interested in bowling stay clear from this place it's a ripoff meant exclusively for children or casuals. If you have the money to set on fire and are just looking to have fun and hang out in a clean place than Bowlero isn't the worst choice. read more

I haven't been bowling in a decade, so I was shocked when the price tag came in just under $60 for one game for a family of four (that's lane rental + shoe rentals). Wowee. And then arcade games, after that. That said, the fact that you can use bumpers for half the players and not the others is a simple but genius improvement (although my score showed I could have used some bumpers). Balls had two thumb holes- large and x-large, which I also thought was clever. Maybe that's standard-- like I said, it's been a decade. Location was clean and had a fun party vibe but my husband did mention he was having a hard time seeing the arrows. Probably not the best place if you take the sport seriously. read more

Good time to go is around 10pm-12am when all the geasers leave and kids leave. Staff is mid, the ladies in the front that put you on the waitlist are friendly , the people working at the bar are a little slow and forgetful about orders. I'm not sure why this location has so Many low star reviews .. I booked bowlero for my kids birthday parties . Nicole was super helpful and thorough. I had to cancel and reschedule the party (stomach flu) , I was concerned that they wouldn't be able to accommodate because I had already paid for the party. I called Nicole and left a message, an associate of hers quickly called back and I rescheduled for the following weekend. Not only was it super easily a seamless , Nicole also called on Monday to make sure everyone was ok and that the party went well with rescheduling. I was so pleased already with the costumer service. The day of the party E.J greeted and escorted us to our lanes. He explained when the food would come out and how the day would go. He was VERY helpful and visible during the whole party. The food was great, we had chicken nuggets, fries and pizza. The parents and kids loved the food! It was very good and it was constantly replenished. My guests were also very impressed and plan on coming back. The arcade was super fun , the bar was also super fast and easy to order from. I have been here three times within 2 years to celebrate birthdays using the king pin package. That means you get unlimited food, drinks and bowling for 2.5 hours. However, every time they either gave us watered down drinks, messed up our food order, the waiter assigned to our party was over worked due to catering our party and attending to other groups. This is ridiculous for the amount of money it costs. Now I am very disappointed if you are thinking about doing an party here beware of how you will be treated. I have yet to be satisfied. On the other hand Arcadia mall bowlero is always on point. Consider moving there if you really wanna party, be catered to and get your moneys worth of everything. Ordered the burger called "Super Cheesy" and it was more like Super Cheese-less. The picture in the menu show golden cheese oozing out of the burger like cheese lava. Lol The burger I got had WHITE cheese and no where near the amount in the picture. I mean come on, it's called super cheesy. Don't call it that if your not gonna deliver. And don't exaggerate the pictures in the menu. I complained and the bartender offered to take it back and have them add a slice of cheese. It wouldn't be melted if they did that so I told him I'm hungry and declined so I can eat. I finished the burger. The bartender tried to get the manager to make it right at least. But the bartender told me the manager said he won't comp the meal but he'll not charge me for the $5 drink I ordered. I feel like they should have at least gave me $10 off or a $10 coupon or something for next time. I'm not blaming the server but I think this is a problem with management. It's a nice facility with an arcade. It's a good thing that there is an arcade because on a busy night it will be up to 2 hours before you can get one lane. We got there at 6:45 on a Saturday and we didn't get a lane until after 9:00 pm. There are pool tables and we played pool and that was pretty expensive when you're having to wait 2 hours. I'm very perplexed by the location of the pool tables. There isn't any tables close enough to set down your drink when it's your turn. Speaking of drinks; I don't think the bartenders are suited to work a busy bar. They were super slow and no way as efficient as they need to be for a busy night. That's miss opportunities for revenue when a patron has to wait for a drink. They could have bought an additional 2 drinks while waiting, if it didn't take so long. The check-in desk was very nice and seemed to be very efficient at answering questions, getting people checked in and out. Not sure why you can't reserve a lane with a cc. Lane reservations are only for group/parties. So you're S.O.L. If there's more than one party. Their party set up takes up most of the seats/chairs on the upper level against the rails. Oh my goody gracious child. Do not get me started on this establishment lord have mercy. Me and my child went there specifically to get a stuffed animal from the claw he's always wanted. My child had sparkles in his eyes until the workers turned his world upside down. I've never seen a child so crushed before other than that one time I was 5 and my daddy walked out. It was out of order and I politely asked if I could just buy it out of the machine and the lady rudely said "no, I don't think so." Which is fine but the part that was truly unfair I asked to buy a card for that claw machine specifically and she didn't tell me it was out of order beforehand and said I could not get a refund. Then the young man behind the counter said it would be working tomorrow so come back. I come back and it's still broken, I saw the young man run in the back out of fear. All my child wanted was that kenny doll. The kenny was laying on his face all depressed lookin waiting to be free from the hell that is this bowling alley. Lastly, I would like to note that i've been here before, and that time there was a bowler lashing out at people and stomping around. They didn't escort him out till way later. Awesome place for night out with friends. Everything was super clean and new-looking. Staff went out of their way to make us happy. I really liked that our party had a host and everything was so streamlined and well-explained. We had some burger, pizza and fries along with beers and cocktails.
