My first time at this Bowlero. It was cool with nice modern decor. We had a family New Year's Eve gathering here so it was fun. We bowled, laughed, and ate. We had wings, sliders, pizza, salad, egg rolls, etc. The food was just ok. Nothing to brag about it was basic. They gave us hats and whistles and a glass of champagne from the manager. We got alcoholic drinks that were included in our package but some of them were not good. The manager was very nice and helpful. Easy parking in front of the place.

We brought our son for his first bowling experience, and he loved it so much we bought the Summer Pass! The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, and the arcade has some fun games. We will definitely be back.

A screenshot of while we waited... still a while to go. Someone had been waiting for over 4 hours?!

I hadn't been bowling in years and was really looking forward to getting back into it. I came on the Sunday before President's Day with a group of 5, and the entire process, even before getting to Bowlero was horrible. I tried calling to reserve a lane, but no one picked up at the front desk. So we go there as a walk-in group and put our names on the waitlist, waited almost three hours. Apparently there was a bowling league and two birthdays going on, which would have been nice to know about when signing up on the waitlist, or when I asked them if they had an estimate of how long it would take. To make matters worse, there were multiple lanes whose groups had left and been unoccupied for over an hour (non-league/birthday lanes). When notifying the staff (maybe the manager as she was wearing red) and to make sure they were aware of these, she kept brushing me off paid no attention and told me to rely on the waitlist site for any information. Luckily about half an hour later I checked back in with another staff member about the same lane that had been unoccupied, and he went ahead and had the lane cleaned up and ready for our group. Once we finally started playing, we ran into issues several times with our pins getting knocked down without throwing the ball, or pins taking long to get restocked or just not getting restocked at all. I wish the staff was more attentive and resolved these in a quick manner given that we had paid for two hours, and these issues were taking up our playing time (we barely got to play two games and had to wait for almost every turn for the pins). Thinking about our experience, we probably could have gone to the Arcadia location given that it's not that far from this one and had a better overall experience.

Last lane to the right #32 right next to women's bathroom

Nice, small ally I think there's only like 32 lanes and 1/2 are string pins but staff is friendly and arcade was decent always love a pin ball machine and they had more games then West Covina ally so I liked it

First time I tried this Bowlero in Pasadena and I was actually impressed. I had a good time here and I didn't bowl but it was still a nice atmosphere and they had good food and a bar if you wanted to grab drinks instead of bowling. They actually had a really nice decent small but good arcade for the kids to play with really good games that was fun! I tried the wings and some fries and it was fresh, hot, and good ! No complaints whatsoever for me. However, the restrooms were very filthy and should have been monitored for cleaning! The customer service was good our server was actually overly attentive the entire time! Food came out fast and everything we asked. It is security outside and throughout the establishment, but they were really chill and nice. I do recommend this Bowlero, it is smaller than the other one in Arcadia but it's nice!

Thought I do an updated review since I recently returned back to Bowlero Pasadena for bowling with some co-workers after work. Now that school is out, their hours of operation have changed. They open earlier now compared to 4:00 PM when school was still in. This bowling alley has 32 lanes with non-stringed pins and a longer approach which I prefer over stringed pins and a shorter approach. They have a snack and drink bar, good size game area, some lounge space, and even a VIP area which I'm not 100% sure what that is all about. I used two Groupon vouchers... 2 hours of bowling + shoe rental for 4 people and 2 people, respectively, which is a great deal. I asked if it was okay to have 3 people per lane so both lanes have an even number of people since we had a total of 6 people. The gentleman behind the counter was kind to allow it. Thank you sir! We got lanes 31 and 32 which aren't my favorite lanes since they are closest to the wall. However, we were away from the rest of the other bowlers which sometimes is nice. We did have some lane issues where the pin rack wouldn't come back up on lane 32. We had to wait for at least 10 to 15 mins for someone to finally fix it. Staff was nice enough to add more time to our lanes. Thank you! We did order some food from the snack bar. Staff was friendly. We got nachos with chicken, chicken tenders with fries, and crispy cauliflower. Water to drink. Food was decent. Nachos was the favorite! Overall bowling experience was good. However, it was a tad warm in here even though the fan was on. They may want to look into turning on the AC if they have it. I would return here to bowl over Bowlero Arcadia (they have stringed pins and a shorter approach which I don't care for at all). One more thing, the lanes here were very tough... oil pattern was rigid... you gotta be precise in your release and roll. Towards the end, I finally figured it out after 8 games... hit the 2nd arrow! LOL

I came on a busy Saturday with reservations for 7 people. A few people came late, but they were able to accommodate the time change without hassle. Somewhat a weird issue, but while some were bowling the pins would reset on its own and it messed up the scoring. We just went with the flow of it though. For food we had pizza, nachos and the sampler platter with towers of beer....the ultimate junk food (aka delicious food) heaven. We ordered at the counter because we weren't sure if there was someone to take our orders. When our reservations were over they asked us to move to their other tables in the establishment. I really liked that they were polite about it and not rude about having to leave the lanes. While our group made our way over they also had tables waiting for us.

They have a large variety of games from more modern ones like Switchs in the back, older versions of Mario Kart, older games in general like Pac-Man and my personal favorite Burger Time. Loads of pinball machines too. The entire facility (and bathroom) were very clean and the ambient noise was never too loud and I never had to yell to talk to someone next to me. Some games will have slightly sticky or unresponsive switches but it's just what happens with the amount of people that use these machines. We had an issue with a pinball machine and they were very quick to come help fix it and immediately get us back to playing. Overall a solid experience, not what I'd actively look for myself, but would gladly go again if someone else wanted to.

You're not cramped in here fighting for space. Game-wise... don't come here expecting anything crazy. There's nothing super serious for hardcore gamers, no rare cabinets or anything you're gonna geek out over. It's more like solid, familiar stuff. That said, it does work really well as a date spot because there's a lot of co-op games, so you're not just standing there awkwardly -- you actually have something to do. Now the food... I still haven't gone deep into it, but the wing deal is actually a good deal for these times, which is rare. That alone makes it worth pulling up on a Tuesday. However, the main entrance was a visually impressive experience in its own right. Full of stimuli basically, that's assured at Revenge of... (the Nerds? Supes?). Love the name! In addition to comics and usual toys and nicknacks, I was delighted to find not one, but two areas devoted to pinball machines! Additionally, the interior design evokes lots of classic (e.g. Silver and Bronze Age) artwork. X-Men and Spider-Man definitely influenced the architectural approach. Now if they had some Tekken cabs, then everything would be perfect. They also had lots of music games and racing games like Maximum Tune. The arcade part itself elevates my score for this place. With my recent trip as part of a group of parents planning for an impromptu after party for the cast and crew for the St Genevieve Parish Schools Musical production's closing weekend, I was amazed at how the Round 1 crew were receptive to our needs. We reserved a karaoke party room for about 30 kids. Louis took down my number for the reservation, and he was very nice and accommodating. We did have to wait about an hour for our party room to be ready, which was fair. Meanwhile, my group of teens entertained themselves with MULTIPLE takes on the photo booths, surely to satiate their social media needs. When the karaoke room was ready, fun and memories were made not just for them, but also the parents. Truly a wonderful time. Now for the dark side of this review. Though Louis was awesome, he did mention that I should get a text within 5 minutes confirming my reservation. It was almost 30 minutes and still never received a text, and when I talked to Louis about it, he said that I had to connect to the Round 1 wifi in order to receive text updates. Rather unintuitive, I thought. But Louis did assure me that it didn't affect my place in line, which was good to know. Also, the thing that brings my score down... the food. I ordered the buffalo wings. Not only were the wings not of size, but the watery buffalo sauce was just thrown in that I may as well have had a buffalo chicken soup. Also, though they did not charge me for a pitcher of water for my singing teens, they did charge the other parents that I was with for the exact same pitchers of water. At that point, I was telling myself it must have been my charm that got me free water lol. All in all, Round 1 is top notch when it comes to fun. It celebrates arcade culture of yesterday with their fighting games, music games, and driving games, while providing photo booths and claw games with kawaii merch that today's youth adores. Just please, eat somewhere else before coming here. The mall's food court right outside the entrance has some nice options. Or... just don't order the buffalo wings.
