Honestly, this Topgolf Montabello should Be ashamed to call yourself a business. The first time I went to this place.. No Non-Alcoholic beer.. No big deal.. Got a soda, went on to have a decent time. (But not having a non alcoholic option in a busy environment, not too smart on the business end) Service was minimal but we didn't need much. Second time I went here, brought 6 people. Ordered 2 samplers, wings and drinks. Wings and drinks came out in about 20 minutes, samplers did not. We waited about 45 (an additional 25) minutes before asking. (Trying to be considerate of the server) They took another 15 minutes to come back with "I'm sorry but we ran out". Mind you, we've been waiting 45 minutes, been there already an hour, and we only have 2 hour limit. About 10 minutes later, a sampler goes out to the table next to us.. I ask our server "I thought you were out" and he says "they must have got more". HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA OK?! We then order dessert. 2 orders of the chocolate filled pastry bites.. Takes another 30 minutes. We're now having to race out the door. Still eating and having waited for our food the entire time. Was lied to, and neglected. Third time I TRIED to go. I make a 9:15am reservation. Something comes up, turns out I'll be about 20 minutes late. No big deal (or so I thought) I figure I'll call up, let them know I'm 100% coming and will still pay. And play out the rest of my time. Since it's already reserved. I get not 1, not 2, but 3 messages ALL BEFORE my check in time. At 9:00 am they send another text, "We haven't heard from you". I reply OK to let them know I'm coming. (Mind you, last night,l when making the reservation, 9:00 am was not available.) They immediately reply saying my bay is ready. It's 9:04 am. And I will given 15 minutes or my bay might be given away. I attempt to call, to change my reservation on the app, to do anything so I don't lose my time. But I can't get through. Top golf HAS THE WORST AUTOMATED SYSTEM! You can't talk to anyone. They give you suggestions that are irrelevant and then keep reminding you that you only have a 15 minute grace period. So I cancelled and won't ever be returning to that place. Bad service, bad management, and horrible customer service all the way around. Gave you 3 strikes and you used them up the first 3 times I came. It also took Topgolf 40 minutes to process my cancellation.. and they still continued to send me 4 more text messages... I'm assuming Topgolf is run by a bunch of lazy upper management that does minimal to nothing and then gets on at the lower tier staff. Because the general motion of the operation runs fine. People are checked in, they order food and drinks, the food and drinks come, eventually. But the training, the customer service and the lack of ordering appropriate amounts of food and beverages for an establishment that's been there for 2 years already. You need to hire new management to clean house and fix day to day operations. I'd be embarrassed if this was a store I was in charge of. And I will not be coming back to this location ever again. I'm sure the AI assistant and Automated help is an issue for all Topgolf stores. But The locations in Ontario and El segundo, although they have struggles as well, are 10X better the option when playing at a Topgolf. read more

I've been to several Topgolf locations, including the one in Phoenix, while catching a Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks game, and overall, I feel like this one might need to revisit its customer service training. Although it wasn't terrible, it could definitely have been better. I had a reservation for a party of four, and we were greeted in our bay by what appeared to be a safety manager giving us a safety briefing, which was a nice touch. I believe our server's name was Leila, who gave us the same safety briefing and took our drink order. One of our party members wasn't drinking at the time because she was pumping breast milk, so she ordered water. The initial service was great, but it went south fast. I don't know where the breakdown occurred, but Leila was hard to find. All we wanted was another round of drinks, including water. We had to order it on their app. We eventually moved to the dining area, where we experienced better customer service. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will definitely come back again. Right off the 60 freeway. Parking lot is huge with plenty of parking spots available. I made a reservation online for 1 bay in case the place gets busy/ or full. There's multiple floors, food is decent, you can order drinks and alcoholic drinks as well. We came in a gloomy day and it did sprinkle a little but since it's indoors and outdoors, it didn't affect our golfing. What's even amazing was that we witnessed a full rainbow during our time! My little guy was eager to practice on his golf swings, so we spent some fun time at Topgolf in Montebello. The overall vibe was fantastical~ Lol We truly enjoyed ourselves. You can bring your own golf club, or use the ones they provide. There's an on-site restroom, as well as bars, loud music, food, and drinks. My little one had chicken tenders and fries--he loved it. They also have a comfy couch where you can relax and lounge. Topgolf is such a fun entertainment complex that is great for both small groups and big groups, as well as for parties and celebrations. Not only is this place for hitting balls, but it is also a sports bar and restaurant. Prices are charged per hour, per hitting bay and can fluctuate depending on the time of day. Each bay can fit up to 6 players - so if you have more than 6 people in your group, you will be split up between multiple bays. My group of 5 had a wonderful time here. We paid for 2 hours, which I think was the perfect amount of time. Anything less than 2 hours would have felt like not enough time for everyone to play a fair share. There is an option to reserve a bay online ahead of time. However, I've never had any issues with doing a walk-in. From what I've seen, the venue is huge (3 floors) with lots of hitting bays available throughout. If you don't have any experience with golf, don't worry. This venue is nothing like regular golf. Staff is friendly and they consistently check back. Our recent visit we were overcharged with items sent to another table. Finally got a chance to check out Topgolf and I was very impressed. Came here with my wife and a group of friends and we had a blast. After checking in, we got a section to ourselves on the 2nd floor. Golf here is pretty much arcade style, with plenty of games that include: Angry Birds, Classic, Football Field Goals, Long Range, and plenty more. Plenty of options for your party to have a fun time. There's also numerous clubs and drivers for you to choose from, from beginner style drivers to your standard golf clubs. Our party decided for the two hour activation which went by quick as we were having lots of fun. There's plenty of food and drink options which the staff brings out fairly quickly. We went in the afternoon but I believe everything looks more "glow" vibes during the evening time. Overall, wonderful spot for hanging out with friends to enjoy a fun time. It's very much a sports bar type place. Very clean inside, staff is friendly and quick. Loved the experience overall. Parking here is in a huge lot, all free parking and plenty of spots for EV Charging. (Requires an adapter) read more

12/20 Been a min since I did top golf but we had reservations with friends that never been . We had a blast playing the golf games like Sonic and AngryBirds . Emery was our server and she was Amazing. Went over everything with us and got us our food and drink quick . We got the Funday Faves platter - consists of 6 chicken sliders , cheesy macaroni bites , pretzel bites, and chips and salsa. It was delicious and came out nice and hot . Also got the Bbq Fries Tower which was really good too . It was fries and bbq Fritos i believe with bbq drizzle all over . Had a couple pitchers of beer mango cart as well. STAFF NEEDS BETTER TRAINING Went during lunch to celebrate my husbands birthday last week with family and friends and we got 2 tables. Food was good, drinks came out fast and we had a great time except the server guy lost our receipt at the end of our time. So while he's scrambling to remember everyone's order and re-input everything, another server comes and tells us we need to vacate the table because others might want it. Ummm it's a Monday afternoon 2pm and it wasn't busy so I don't get why we had to be rushed when it was them that lost our receipt and made us wait! We told them we wanted to do the cake there but they made us take it to the empty tables inside the bar. They also forgot to sing happy birthday too or even mention anything to my husband. Disappointing customer service smh. Even though we live in Monterey Park we'll stick to the Ontario Top Golf. It's a lot better service than this location. read more

This was our second time at this location, we got the Playmore Membership and we took advantage of it. We were looked after today by Sam DEPAZ. Her service was 10/2 10, she kept coming in to check on us. It took us about 10 minutes to get our game going and she was very helpful as I wasn't happy that we lost 10 minutes of our time. Customer Service was outstanding, the food was good and the ambience was fun. The friends we went with signed up for the Membership and we will be coming back here more often. I did notice that we charged our car using the ChargePoint charger. Those now charge for the charging there, this used to be free so I guess there was some change in policy. Thank you! read more

This was our first visit to TopGolf. This location is extremely clean and all employees we interacted with were very pleasant and friendly. We booked a two hour reservation online which was easy and very convenient. We received a text about 30 minutes prior reassuring us that our playing bay would be ready upon our reservation time. We arrived about five minutes prior to our reserved time and were immediately given a bay # and got straight to playing. Our waitress was Karla and she was very friendly and responsive. They were pretty nitpicky about the reservation time and really tried to get us out once our time ended, even starting to clean up fairly early. That said, the service was attentive--they consistently came by to check on us. It looks like they've added a $5 surcharge to create an account and add your name to play, which feels like their way of grabbing a few extra dollars from first-time players. The games themselves were fine, but in my opinion, it's definitely an expensive activity. The food was actually pretty good. I tried the wings and the flatbread, and I had no complaints aside from the prices being a little higher than expected. They need to add some better salad options as they are really lacking in this area. Also their appetizers could be better. We bought the sampler plate and it left us disappointed. Burgers were all good and tasty as were the chicken sandwiches. Service was ok as well. I wish there was a way to message your server for small things like water refills or ranch. Customer service is completely lacking. I won't be returning to this location. Most unwelcoming experience for our large group with 4 bays. I caught the staff Maxxie - blonde young man and the older grey haired male manager complaining about our group stating "we don't have to accommodate you". They didn't want us there from the start even with our original booking. My boyfriend and I left the birthday gathering after hearing their remarks. I can appreciate not enjoying every experience at work but it's never ok to outwardly complain to the customers. El segundo and Ontario Top Golf have never treated us like this. read more

So much to like about Topgolf. This was my first time ever going to any Topgolf location, & I bought gift cards at Costco, thinking a had gotten a deal. On Sunday, it's $60 for 1hr but actually there's a much better deal on the app. If you become a Playmore member, it's $20 for 1hr that you can use once per month. That's a savings of $40 per hour right there. So now that you know that tidbit, here's what I liked. Everything is very clean & organized. Our server took great care of us, showed us to our bay, & took food & beverage orders. I had heard about the Angry Birds game, & the part that I loved was you hit 3 balls & then change players. That keeps things interesting & makes sure everyone has a chance to swing. You have TONS of space, a table for your food & drinks, and a screen for the spectators to know who is next for taking turns. I absolutely enjoyed our time & I was all set to go back to Costco to buy another set of gift cards when I saw the deal on the app. Definitely give this place a try. It's VERY beginner friendly & laid back, but if you're a more advanced player it's still fun too. read more
