This is a late review, but I was so excited to see that Top Golf opened up by my parents' house!! We decided to have a family driving range night and it ended up being a lot of fun. In terms of golf, I love how high tech everything is! I've been to other driving ranges but none of them tracked scores and showed replays of your swings the way Top Golf did (I'm not even sure how they were able to get the replays!). Alongside that, there was a variety of different clubs to choose from and they were all conveniently located next to your lane. The seating area itself is also nice. They also have a menu where you can order food and drinks. All in all, everyone had a great time! The only con I would say is that this spot is BUSY. We came on a Friday night and the wait time was about 2 hours long. Alongside this, employees also seem like they're stretched a little thin and we sometimes had a hard time finding someone when we had questions or wanted to order food. read more

Wow! What a bad experience at Montebello Top Golf. First off...We Waited at a 4 seat table downstairs next to bar for like 10 min nobody waited on us. We had to ask the bar tenders and they told us we have to sit at the bar to order. Second, the food was over par. (Golf reference) smash burger didn't look fresh, my Tator tots were not even hot or warm to touch. Our food came out with no utensils, no napkins, no ketchup or mustard, no salt and pepper. We had to ask for everything. We were not asked if we wanted our drink refilled. Sad thing is the bar wasn't even busy. The waiter looked young and was just chatting it up with another employee they're. We were very disappointed with the service and food. This was the second time there and I will not be going back for that. So I give it a 1 star. PS... teach your bartender a little better. That's how they get better tips. No tips from us. They were also chill about late stays, but its soo far that I really wish they had one in oc area . Also quite pricy but u do pay for the experience. Their top golf cup drink does have decent alcohol but flavor wise is whatever. The cup is plastic and u can keep it but kind of cheap. Mac and cheese balls are decent bite not goopy or too heavily cheesy tasting rather neutral and popable. The platter had a good variety, wings were solid especially the one with sesame, sliders were okay. It takes some effort to balance eating g and getting your runs in to maximize the experience. It can be hard to flag down a server to get service and takes some time. Top golf is really fun in the gameify aspect where even if u suck u can win as long as u suck consistently. I do wish there was a tutorial for someone who never golfed and it is pretty. Wow! Just, wow! I don't know where to start other than this place is incredible. Last Sunday my wife surprised me with a surprise birthday party that included 11 of my closest friends. It was mine and a few other others first time here with the other few friends haven't been here before. And I must say, this place just blew my mind. From top to bottom my experience wasn't incredible. I say it all the time, I am a customer service first type of guy in this place and every employee I interact with just hit it out the park. Started with the first manager that helped my wife check in, Iris H. Then the second floor manager, Steph P. And our bay host Sophia, I. Those were the three main employees that my party and I interacted with. They were so sweet, helpful and attentive, it made our experience so much more fun and smooth. The music throughout our two hour party from beginning to end was a vibe lol turned out. It was the manager Iris's playlist! Just saying, for a good time always make sure you're there when she is on shift. The food was also really good. Sometimes at places like this the food isn't good or is much to be expected from. But this place had phenomenal food, and my friends and I ate a lot of different things lol golfing with friends and the options of golf games there's a lot of fun. Having a handful of gaming options also makes for more fun and allows you to mix it up throughout your gameplay time. I can't rave enough about this place, but I'm going to keep this review short. Overall, I highly highly recommend this place for an amazing time of any occasion. I loved the atmosphere here and the vibez! I came for my boyfriend's dad's birthday, and we got a bay on the top floor. It was such a nice setup! They had a pretty good selection of food and drinks, although I'll be honest... it's a little pricey. But if you're splitting everything with your party, it's not too bad. I did the build-your-own margarita and still have no idea how much I paid for it because it wasn't listed on the menu. We also got the Fairway Feast ($67.99), and honestly, it was delicious! The boneless wings were a hit! We got the Asian and Buffalo flavors, and both were SO good. The sliders were also really tasty! My only real complaint (besides the prices) is that they NEED to give you wet napkins. Trying to eat while also playing was a whole struggle, especially since we only had two hours. By the end, I was basically choosing between eating and golfing. Overall, though, I had a really good time! Just one VERY important PSA: STRETCH BEFORE YOU PLAY. He was full of recommendation, attentive to our needs (even before we needed it), was always so happy to accommodate any request from our guest list. Drinks were sooo good and refreshing.. perfectly balanced with liquor and mix. I love the different levels of golfing experience.. I loved being on the 3rd floor! They had fans to keep the area cool. First time going to a driving range that is this elevated. I actually had quite a good time with my co workers. There was a sports bar, outside patio with some games, and a full bar. Although I did like my old fashioned I ordered I thought the glass was quite small. Plus when I ordered another one.. they used regular ice and it came less than my first cup, with one less cherry. Overall not consistent. The food we shared was quite good. Fries were crispy , wings are good, nachos are good. I enjoyed the sliders as well. There wasn't really any explanation of the different game modes, pretty much had to have one of my coworkers that went before explain, as well as how to stand and swing. Another thing was that we were not able to add more time (others were going to occupy the space?) I don't know how I feel about that. There are over 3 levels of bays. I've been to this top golf location a few times and I really enjoy it. Our server the most recent time we went was okay, he kinda of came off rude when we were trying to order some items because I had questions about it and he answered with a tone like to rush us and it felt like I couldn't ask any questions about it. We did order the trio wings and the wings are not that great, they're dry. The Macaroni balls are really good as well as the hot honey pizza. I also got this frozen margarita thing I honestly forgot what it's called but it was really good. We also did have to go search for him which was kind of annoying cus he wouldn't come and check in with us. I've been to several Topgolf locations, including the one in Phoenix, while catching a Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks game, and overall, I feel like this one might need to revisit its customer service training. Although it wasn't terrible, it could definitely have been better. I had a reservation for a party of four, and we were greeted in our bay by what appeared to be a safety manager giving us a safety briefing, which was a nice touch. I believe our server's name was Leila, who gave us the same safety briefing and took our drink order. One of our party members wasn't drinking at the time because she was pumping breast milk, so she ordered water. The initial service was great, but it went south fast. I don't know where the breakdown occurred, but Leila was hard to find. All we wanted was another round of drinks, including water. We had to order it on their app. We eventually moved to the dining area, where we experienced better customer service. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will definitely come back again. Topgolf is such a fun entertainment complex that is great for both small groups and big groups, as well as for parties and celebrations. Not only is this place for hitting balls, but it is also a sports bar and restaurant. Prices are charged per hour, per hitting bay and can fluctuate depending on the time of day. Each bay can fit up to 6 players - so if you have more than 6 people in your group, you will be split up between multiple bays. My group of 5 had a wonderful time here. We paid for 2 hours, which I think was the perfect amount of time. Anything less than 2 hours would have felt like not enough time for everyone to play a fair share. There is an option to reserve a bay online ahead of time. However, I've never had any issues with doing a walk-in. From what I've seen, the venue is huge (3 floors) with lots of hitting bays available throughout. If you don't have any experience with golf, don't worry. This venue is nothing like regular golf. Finally got a chance to check out Topgolf and I was very impressed. Came here with my wife and a group of friends and we had a blast. After checking in, we got a section to ourselves on the 2nd floor. Golf here is pretty much arcade style, with plenty of games that include: Angry Birds, Classic, Football Field Goals, Long Range, and plenty more. Plenty of options for your party to have a fun time. There's also numerous clubs and drivers for you to choose from, from beginner style drivers to your standard golf clubs. Our party decided for the two hour activation which went by quick as we were having lots of fun. There's plenty of food and drink options which the staff brings out fairly quickly. We went in the afternoon but I believe everything looks more "glow" vibes during the evening time. Overall, wonderful spot for hanging out with friends to enjoy a fun time. It's very much a sports bar type place. Very clean inside, staff is friendly and quick. Loved the experience overall. 12/20 Been a min since I did top golf but we had reservations with friends that never been . We had a blast playing the golf games like Sonic and AngryBirds . Emery was our server and she was Amazing. Went over everything with us and got us our food and drink quick . We got the Funday Faves platter - consists of 6 chicken sliders , cheesy macaroni bites , pretzel bites, and chips and salsa. It was delicious and came out nice and hot . Topgolf Montebello is a great place to hangout, hit a few swings, eat, drink, and/or watch football. This location just opened its doors about a year ish ago so it is still relatively new. After my party and I checked in, we were greeted by our server that would later bring our food and drinks, she came and checked on us around every 15 mins or so, extra points for that! The golf swings can be challenging when you don't know what you are doing, but practice makes perfect. I like how there are different modes such as sonic, angry birds, classic, or even football options. The food items that stood out are their crispy wings and fiesta nachos! We've been to many Topgolf locations in different cities, and unfortunately, this was by far the worst service we've experienced. We arrived with four kids and immediately asked our server for kids' clubs. They were never brought to us, and the kids struggled trying to use the adult clubs. About halfway through our time, I finally had to track down a different server, who was kind enough to get the kids' clubs for us. We also wanted to order food and asked for a separate check because we were with a large group and didn't want our order mixed in with everyone else's. Our server made us feel like this was an inconvenience, which made the interaction uncomfortable. It was around 100 degrees outside, so we asked for multiple waters for our group, but only two were brought. Once again, we ended up asking another server, who thankfully brought us more water. Overall, the service made us feel like we were an inconvenience and that we weren't really wanted there. We normally enjoy Topgolf and have had great experiences at other locations, which made this visit especially disappointing. This place is right next to a good golf course so you can first play a round of real golf and then come here to dia your skills if you didn't have enough on the course. They were pretty nitpicky about the reservation time and really tried to get us out once our time ended, even starting to clean up fairly early. That said, the service was attentive--they consistently came by to check on us. It looks like they've added a $5 surcharge to create an account and add your name to play, which feels like their way of grabbing a few extra dollars from first-time players. The games themselves were fine, but in my opinion, it's definitely an expensive activity. The food was actually pretty good. I tried the wings and the flatbread, and I had no complaints aside from the prices being a little higher than expected. STAFF NEEDS BETTER TRAINING Went during lunch to celebrate my husbands birthday last week with family and friends and we got 2 tables. Food was good, drinks came out fast and we had a great time except the server guy lost our receipt at the end of our time. So while he's scrambling to remember everyone's order and re-input everything, another server comes and tells us we need to vacate the table because others might want it. Ummm it's a Monday afternoon 2pm and it wasn't busy so I don't get why we had to be rushed when it was them that lost our receipt and made us wait! We told them we wanted to do the cake there but they made us take it to the empty tables inside the bar. They also forgot to sing happy birthday too or even mention anything to my husband.
