Wow! What a bad experience at Montebello Top Golf. First off...We Waited at a 4 seat table downstairs next to bar for like 10 min nobody waited on us. We had to ask the bar tenders and they told us we have to sit at the bar to order. Second, the food was over par. (Golf reference) smash burger didn't look fresh, my Tator tots were not even hot or warm to touch. Our food came out with no utensils, no napkins, no ketchup or mustard, no salt and pepper. We had to ask for everything. We were not asked if we wanted our drink refilled. Sad thing is the bar wasn't even busy. The waiter looked young and was just chatting it up with another employee they're. We were very disappointed with the service and food. This was the second time there and I will not be going back for that. So I give it a 1 star. PS... teach your bartender a little better. That's how they get better tips. No tips from us. Mic drop out. read more

Love coming to topgolf during the week when it's not as crowded. The game options are super fun and make it entertaining for us non-golfers. The food is ok. They need to add some better salad options as they are really lacking in this area. Also their appetizers could be better. We bought the sampler plate and it left us disappointed. Burgers were all good and tasty as were the chicken sandwiches. Service was ok as well. I wish there was a way to message your server for small things like water refills or ranch. When you need something it can take a long time to get someone's attention. Love that there are clean restrooms on every floor and a bar. read more

This was our first visit to TopGolf. This location is extremely clean and all employees we interacted with were very pleasant and friendly. We booked a two hour reservation online which was easy and very convenient. We received a text about 30 minutes prior reassuring us that our playing bay would be ready upon our reservation time. We arrived about five minutes prior to our reserved time and were immediately given a bay # and got straight to playing. Our waitress was Karla and she was very friendly and responsive. Would recommend the food and drink selection. We will return again! read more

I remember coming to this driving range as a kid. They've done a lot to make it modern. We had reservations on the second bay. There are tons of games to choose from. It's kind of like Lucky strike but for golf. They even brought out junior clubs for my kids. Our bay was reserved for 90 minutes and we ordered lunch and a couple of drinks. Overall it was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. read more

So my son went here for his Bday with his family ( sister & brother's) . Server didn't give them complimentary waters they indicated they would receive, no one attended to them that worked their side of the bay , then someone else gave them water that was not designated that bay - then the one that would of been there server asked" If they wanted refills ". Also my Daughter explained to me how they kept looking at them as if they were going to rob or do something negative, they made my family feel extremely uncomfortable and un welcomed . My daughter also explained to me the staff racial profiled them. My kid's aren't gang affiliated or do they hangout with gang members! What a super nice way to welcome a family of 6, and also welcome or make someone feel comfortable on their birthday- this is unacceptable and not well managed . I will be contacting corporate if they have one , because some place will act out of order because the company or establishment doesn't have higher up's , or any one responsible for quality control?!!! Ps. A super pissed Mother!!! read more

Came here on a Thursday evening and it was packed! The parking lot was almost full as well! You reserve a bay online or in an app and show up at the appointment time. We had a two hour appointment time. Like any top golf, you create an account and play mini games on the display. The place tracks how fast and far your ball will go. New players will need to make an account for 5 dollars (one time fee) The staff here is super nice. They come and take any food or drink orders. This was my first time going to Top Golf in over 8 years. It was so much fun to hit some balls with the Wife! It was my wife's first time going there. For first timers, you must sign up for a lifetime membership for $5. I still have my physical card from 2016. My wife who signed up this week. She was charged $5 for the lifetime membership, but everything is digital now. So they don't offer physical cards anymore. Once, you pay for the lifetime membership. No need to pay that again. read more

After not picking up a golf club for over two years, it was my time to go with my friends to TopGolf. Kind of an interesting location right next to another golf course and freeway. We booked a time the day before and luckily we did because it was crowded! It's also half off on Thursdays, which was nice. I didn't like how you had to pay 5 dollars for a lifetime membership, though. Kind of ridiculous. Anyways, the vibes were fun! It's perfect for beginners (my two friends had never held a club ever) and I had a nice time. The food was good, too, albeit on the expensive side. We all had pina coladas and they were great. A fun time for a summer evening! read more

3 stars Joined my mom's company-catered lunch and I wish I could be more positive of my experience here, but it's definitely a 3-star experience. The servers were doing the best they could, but things ran out quickly - plates, salsa, water, sour cream, etc. The main courses were replenished pretty quickly though. Getting beverages was confusing...I wasn't sure if we were supposed to flag down a server to order drinks or pick up from the bar. The seating was plentiful, but the space might fit, but not be the most comfortable for 100+ people since walkways are a bit narrow. There's a kid's catering table and their courses are burger sliders, cheese quesadilla, mini corn dogs, and tater tots. The adult's catering tables had beef, chicken, tortillas, rice, refried beans, salsa, sour cream, & shredded cheese. The beef was tender and tasted pretty good, but the chicken was dry. The interior is casual and comfortable. I think it would be an ideal place for smaller groups of 6-10 per area. read more

So much to like about Topgolf. This was my first time ever going to any Topgolf location, & I bought gift cards at Costco, thinking a had gotten a deal. On Sunday, it's $60 for 1hr but actually there's a much better deal on the app. If you become a Playmore member, it's $20 for 1hr that you can use once per month. That's a savings of $40 per hour right there. So now that you know that tidbit, here's what I liked. Everything is very clean & organized. Our server took great care of us, showed us to our bay, & took food & beverage orders. I had heard about the Angry Birds game, & the part that I loved was you hit 3 balls & then change players. That keeps things interesting & makes sure everyone has a chance to swing. You have TONS of space, a table for your food & drinks, and a screen for the spectators to know who is next for taking turns. I absolutely enjoyed our time & I was all set to go back to Costco to buy another set of gift cards when I saw the deal on the app. Definitely give this place a try. It's VERY beginner friendly & laid back, but if you're a more advanced player it's still fun too. read more

Went there to spend a $50 gift card on food. Bartender - service was great! Very kind, follow up and checking in on me. Female watress - terrible, asked her 4x for a small container for my sauce and she still forgot. Guy from downstairs with a name badge - He got me my sauce container. Bartender kept asking me if I wanted to start a tab (even though I told him I was just here to use my gift card to order food), so I gave him my gift card and credit card to prepay and tip before I really got any food. Food takes a long time to get made and served to you. Food was meh and had some challenges. - Arnold palmer was good - Burger cooked well done, extra pickles and onions. (the pickles were there but the burger was not very good, kinda tastless, missing seasoning or something). - The fries were cold, but when they remade it, it was too salty, I could only eat less than half. - Asian sesame wings good, but too much sticky sweet sauce, I could only eat 2. The carrots and celery were perfect! With ranch! - Mushroom tacos, effort #1, they were blackened BURNED inedible. SEnt it back. Effort #2, they were delicious but b/c it took so long to get it, I was kind a full, took 2 of them home. - Side salad didn't come out so I asked the food delivery waiter and he brought it out. 1/3 of the leaves were wilted or rotting. Tomatoes were really old and inedible. NOT A FRESH Salad. There was a touch of red onion and cheese I dressed my mushroom tacos with. I dipped the leaves that were ok into the ranch. Only ate about 1/5 of the salad. It comes with croutons which I did not eat. NEEDS TO BE FRESH!!!! I don't think I will come back for their food. I left frustrated. There was also a distracted weird guy heading to the patio that left his drink on my table. The bartender stood up for me and removed it and told the guy to take his drink back. My table was next to their outdoor area where they put dirty dishes, so the whole time waiters were going by placing dirty dishes in bins. UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE. read more

This was our second time at this location, we got the Playmore Membership and we took advantage of it. We were looked after today by Sam DEPAZ. Customer Service was outstanding, the food was good and the ambience was fun. The friends we went with signed up for the Membership and we will be coming back here more often. We went to this location to celebrate my cousin's birthday. We had kids in our party so we didn't want to reserve a bay in case we were late. The wait time on the app stated 3 to 4 hours wait at 3 PM. The waitlist was closed at that point so l decided to call Topgolf to ask if the waitlist being closed meant that they did not honor any walk-ins. The rep over the phone stated that Topgolf actually makes accommodations for walk-ins and that is why the waitlist is closed to accommodate for walk ins. The rep made it sound so reassuring that we decided to still go to Topgolf off the strength of what the Topgolf rep had advised me over the phone. We arrived at Topgolf at 6 PM and the wait time was exactly the same as on the waitlist. My issue here is that if the waitlist time listed is the same amount of time for walk-ins why would you close the waitlist? Why would you have customers come in and wait around when they can wait in the comfort of their home? We stood there for three and a half hours. It took two hours for the food we ordered to come out and spent over 100s of dollars on food. The one good thing about the entire experience was our waitress who was extremely nice and even went to check on our wait time for a bay. read more

I came here for a work function. The elevator was hard to find at first because everything blended in. We went to the 3rd floor conference room. It was a small meeting room that didnt have enough tables or chairs set up. Some of my colleagues had to stand or sit off to the side. They later brought out tables and chairs during the guest speaker's presentation. I thought that was rude, but not my program so I didnt get mad. For breakfast, they had muffins, fruit platter, and yogurt parfaits. At the time, they only had water available. It wasn't until 30 minutes after we started checking in that they brought the coffee. Probably an hour later they brought up orange juice. A good chunk of the presentation, it was really hard to hear they speaker because the outdoor music was loud and there were other guests behind the room. I was distracted with the music instead of paying attention to the presentation. However, after the presentation, we were able to go into the bays. There was enough seating for 5 adults where I was. They were able to provide some left-handed clubs for us because our group had two lefties. We were amazed by the game choices there were. It gave everyone more fun than just hitting a golf ball. The technology was amazing! The screen replayed the route of the golf ball and showed the trajectory, speed, and distance after you swung. I ordered a side of pretzel bites and they were just the right amount of salty! They asked for a card to hold on file. Overall, they have great deals throughout the week and kids can come and have fun! The block party was the most fun! I think ill be coming back to enjoy it with family and friends. In terms of hosting a work function, I give it a 2.5 out of 5. read more

Decided to check this place out for my birthday. I was super excited. We came on discount Tuesday. We arrived early so we were easily able to get a bay. The location was lively, with upbeat music. The food was good. We ordered nacho and the beverage that was supposed to come with a souvenir cup that shaped like a golf bag. Once our order arrived, the waiter told us that they no longer have the souvenir cups however, we would still have to pay the price as if though we had ordered a souvenir cup. (which is dumb) We played for two hours when we received the bill we noticed that they had charged us a full price instead of the discount price that's advertised on their website. We were also charged for additional food items which we didn't order. We brought it to the attention of our server who had already charged our card. He stated they must've forgotten that it was discount Tuesday, (which is a huge difference from the total price.) I wonder how many people they do that too. after reading reviews I see this happens a lot, which is concerning! So if you decide to go CHECK YOUR BILL. THEY ARE KNOWN TO CHARGE YOU EXTRA. read more

I'm not a golfer. I was here to attend a work gathering, but I was definitely blown away by the quality of their entire operation from the parking lot, to the 'visual appeal' of the building and greens/net area, then once you step inside and everything is so nice and clean and neat and stylized, and the staff on all the levels were professional, pleasant and efficient. Still pisses me off when you go into the restrooms of places like this that provide you with quality at every turn and yet, assholes who're there enjoying these amenities, for some reason can't stop their worst behaviors and have to carve either their initials, name or just plain scribbles along every surface; WTF is wrong w you people?! TG still maintains as clean a restroom as possible and its not financially feasible to replace this at every instance. Despite not being a golfer and hadn't picked up a real golf club (putt-putt don't count) in decades, I had a good time and could see myself coming more often, but there are no locations actually near my home. We actually had a work event and a kids bday party at the same time, and TG had us all set-up side-by-side and with all the staff support we needed. read more

The place is huge and super clean! 3 levels and each level has a bar and seating area inside. The seat on the outside is high top table and chairs. Fits about 4-6 people. Plenty of parking but because it is so close to a freeway entrance, you may deal with some traffic during rush hour times. negative 10- Great Concept and it can be a lot of fun. But not at this location- Eat and Drink before you get there!! Terrible experience at Topgolf Montebello. We arrived at 6:30 PM, ordered food and drinks around 6:45, and didn't receive any drinks for over an hour--not even water for the kids. Our server passed by multiple times, and we followed up politely, but still nothing. Food came out after 45 minutes with no drinks. When I finally asked to cancel the drink order so I could go to the bar, the server got defensive and said it wasn't allowed. At the bar, I found our drinks just sitting there with melting ice and a dissolving rim--meaning they had been ready but never delivered. The manager, Jake, made everything worse. Instead of listening, he cut me off, raised his voice, and accused me of "attacking the server" even though I stayed calm the entire time. No apology, no accountability--just combative and unprofessional behavior. Another guest even gave him a look like, "What is this guy doing?" Overall, horrible service, rude management, and the food and drinks were disappointing too. Definitely the worst experience I've had at a Topgolf. read more

As someone who grew up in Montebello, it's great to see something like this in the neighborhood. I stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon and was happy by how easy everything was. Plenty of parking, no stress. Tons of EV charging stations too, which is a nice touch and shows they're thinking ahead. The vibe was upbeat but not overwhelming. Great staff, and most importantly--the food was actually good. Not just "okay for a golf place" good, but genuinely enjoyable. Perfect for a casual hangout or bringing friends from out of town. Montebello's never had anything quite like this, and it's exciting to see it grow in this way. Definitely recommend checking it out. read more

This place is so much more than just a driving range -- it's a full-on experience. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or swinging a club for the first time, Topgolf Montebello makes it fun and approachable for everyone. The bays are clean and high-tech, with comfy seating, heaters, and responsive service. The scoring system turns golf into a game (literally), and it's super satisfying to watch your ball fly while sipping a cocktail and snacking on their surprisingly solid food menu. (The injectable donut holes? Game-changer.) It's great for date nights, group hangouts, birthdays, or even casual work outings. Expect a bit of a wait on weekends, but the energy is upbeat and worth it. Pro tip: Reserve ahead online or go early for better bay availability. read more

What an awesome place to have a birthday party. This was my first time at Top Golf. It's three levels y'all and the facility is huge. Every floor has a full bar and plenty of TVs. We had a blast. The servers were super nice. We liked everyone we encountered. They were very attentive. The whole setup was fantastic. They have good tracers so you can see where and how far your ball went. There are games designed for the targets on the range.. The food quality and portions were great for the price. I like their Buffalo Wing sauce for the wings as well that their Hummus and Tzatziki dips. They serve it with veggies and you can get pita bread, too. They had a variety of items on the menu. They're something for everyone. They even have a Kid's Menu. All in all, it's a great place to have some fun with the family or with some friends. I will definitely consider having a gathering here. There's an outdoor bar lounge that overlooks the Bella Verde Resort & Golf Club so you can have a relaxing view of their golf course if you want to get some air. I've never played golf in my life and this place was a great first experience. We went to the driving range and booked a table for 2 hours. The package provided a variety of golf clubs, and if your left handed, they bring out special left handed clubs for you. This driving range paired golfing with games. We loved the Party Block which gave you additional areas that would move around the field (on your screen) to gather extra points if your ball bounces inside its limits. My first time at Topgolf, and it was a fun time! My biggest gripe is that they only allow one ball at a time, which takes more time in-between swings to signal for the next ball. Other gripe is that there was only one tee, positioned close to the machine on the right side. Wish the tee was more centered... but this is coming from someone who is quite inexperienced at golf! Do not come here for a birthday celebration. My experience was extremely disappointing. The staff was rude and unhelpful. I brought a birthday cake and, because it was a very hot day, I immediately asked for plates and knives, but they took so long to bring them out that the frosting had already started melting by the time we received them. I also ordered food that took 40 minutes to arrive, and when it finally came, it was cold, leaving me with only about 30 minutes of gameplay left. I was told they would sing happy birthday during the last 30 minutes, but that never happened. When I mentioned the food delay, instead of apologizing, the server got upset and told me to be patient. After waiting 40 minutes for cold food, I was very disappointed with how the situation was handled. Overall, the service was poor, the birthday experience was not what was promised, and I will not be returning. read more

I visited top golf for the first time on 9/25 to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Upon arrival, we were given the wrong floor, and the worst stall on the floor. We were given the very first stall on the far right, which gives you the worst view of the entire field. I went back downstairs to let the employee know that I had requested the first floor to which she responded by apologizing and letting us know that they would be cleaning up a stall shortly and letting us know when it was ready. She also informed me that we would be given our full 2 hours without an issue. About 10-15 minutes later, she let us know that the stall was ready. We went to the stall only to find that it was a mess. The table still had all of the food and drinks from the previous party and had clearly not been cleaned up. At this point, I was extremely frustrated. Not only is it my first experience at top golf so I had high expectations, but we were also celebrating my boyfriend's birthday. I went back to the front desk and let her know that while I understand it's not her fault, I was angry. I arrive to be given the wrong stall and the worst stall at that, be told I'm getting the correct one prepped and ready, only to find that it was literally not even ready for us. I asked her to get someone to clean it up ASAP because they've dropped the ball and it's also my boyfriend's birthday and this is not the experience we were hoping for or expecting. She apologized and followed me back to the stall along with who I would assume was the manager. To be honest, I would've expected some kind of discount for all of the mishap. A free drink? Appetizer? Something. We were kicked out about 10 minutes before our time ended because they were closing the first floor. As far as I know, that is quite literally not my problem. You guys messed up by giving us the wrong floor and having us wait even longer for the correct one, only to kick us out because you're closing the first floor? That doesn't make sense to me. Why should we going to uproot our entire party to a completely different floor for 10 minutes because of YOUR mishap? Having experience in customer service, I would've allowed the reservation to FINISH OFF their measly 10 minutes considering it wasn't their fault, and would've offered a discount. Talk about disappointing and frustrating. All on a birthday, mind you. read more
