About 20 minus later, we were able to get into one of the many bays on the second floor (there are 3 levels). If you've never been to a Top Golf, then for sure this will blow you away. But if you happened to go to the one in Vegas, you're probably going to think this is not as extravagant, but it'll do. For comparison purposes, yes, the one in Vegas has way more amenities, like a pool, larger bars and TVs on each level, etc. But for around these parts, it's still a fun experience for sure. Been to Topgolf before but never at this location before and it is similar to other Topgolf which means beaming with good laughs, fun, and food. It can get pretty pricey but our group had a coupon which we used and made it a lot more affordable which was nice. There was quite a bit of a wait so much so that we just waited it at home until we got a text that our lane was ready. Once we got that it was smooth sailing from us getting checked in to golfing. I love all the lights and the grand scale of everything at Topgolf but what I especially love are all the different games you can play and how it tracks your ball when you hit it. It's great cause you don't necessarily have to hit it far to win depending on the game since some of them rely on trying to hit a zone for points so everyone in a group has a chance to compete regardless of skill level. This added to the fun for us since it made the winners of our group more unexpected. Overall it is always a good time at Topgolf given you're not having to pay out the nose for the experience as it can get expensive. My group went on a weekday evening and we got situated at our bays quickly. We ordered drinks and they were adequate. It was not very full for the evening, yet it still took time for our food to come out. There were times where we ordered items, but they didn't come out so it's possible they never made it to the kitchen. The food did come out hot when it did, the flavors were rich and textures were right. For a party of 9, it's understandable that it's hard to keep track of the orders, but we had to send back the receipt twice because it was largely incorrect both times. On sunday 03/22 around 8pm I was on the 3rd floor with my table playing and eating. As I was waiting for my turn I noticed there were two employees speaking with eachother. There was a woman employee with a red shirt that was speaking to another woman with a black shirt. The woman in the red shirt looked like she was scolding the woman in the black shirt to a point where the employee in the black shirt started crying. It was extremely unprofessional. I felt really bad for the woman in the black shirt because whatever was going on clearly upset her to a point where she started crying. I've given Top Golf multiple opportunities to improve but unfortunately, they failed every single time. For context: I went a total of 4 times, each time I went, my totals were $150-$600 and one of them, was a reserved private party. Every time we went, service is HORRIBLE. Either the servers are overworked or lazy. No follow ups for refills, which ultimately comes down to value. Is it worth it for me to pay $4.79 for a soda and only drink it once when it's refillable? Especially since we're doing physical activity like golf, wouldn't you get thirsty too? Food items get discontinued yet items can go out of stock and no substitutions are allowed. Ok, I get the substitution aspect, but this business has been open for more than a year now, either they need a better distributor or more training in ordering appropriately. I constantly get marketing texts and emails to go back, but why should I support this business that can't live up to its national standard? We don't even get greeted when walking into the door. I don't think this review will be read or heard, but my feelings were so strong (because I am passionate about business) that I want to send this up the corporate ladder. As someone who grew up in Montebello, it's great to see something like this in the neighborhood. I stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon and was happy by how easy everything was. Plenty of parking, no stress. Tons of EV charging stations too, which is a nice touch and shows they're thinking ahead. The vibe was upbeat but not overwhelming. It was a fun afternoon with the family. We were celebrating a nephew's 14th birthday on a Sunday afternoon. We were able to order mini corn dogs and sliders along with drinks and even bring in our own cake from outside. The staff seemed severely overworked, under staffed, and overwhelmed. While we did want to enjoy our group and not be bothered by a server hovering over us. There was a lot of times when he wanted to order more drinks or get some extra plates or napkins or whatever, and there was no one to be found. We had to walk all the way inside practically to find someone that could help us and we are paying a lot for that space. As far as the golf is concerned, there are many different clubs to choose from. There are more than just the drivers, there are also different numbers of irons, a wedge, And their super driver which is supposed to make it easier to swing, and it was fun to use. All in all, it was a fun time. A cool activity to do to drink and catch up with friends. Facilities were clean. Had a horrible experience with the security guard working the night of 10/14/25. My boyfriend and I were meeting up with our group who already reserved a bay inside. Let me preface, we're not from here, so we did not have a car and had to take an uber here. As we were walking inside, we were stopped by the security and were told that we were not allowed to bring in my EMPTY hydroflask. We realized that it was part of their policy -- no outside food or drink allowed. I guess we couldn't argue there, however once consistency and lack of empathy is thrown in your face, that's when it becomes an issue. We been to other Topgolf locations before and never had an issue with bringing in our reusable water bottles which is why I decided to bring mine this time. If it were that much of an issue, then upper management needs to do a better job in making sure ALL locations are implementing the same rules. Next, the security guard just lacked basic empathy for others since we told him that we had no car to walk back to and that we took an uber to get here.. we couldn't just easily walk back, drop the water bottle off back into our car and call it a day. We asked if there were any alternatives like lockers we can leave the bottle at and all he said was "nope. you can leave it there" and points AT THE GROUND in front of the door. Like what..? Not even an apology or any kind of reassurance that he would keep an eye on it for us or anything. Luckily, the workers inside were kind enough to hold it for us for the time being. I hope this doesn't get them in trouble but that small gesture really made a difference and made my time at this Topgolf way better. I didn't care that I couldn't bring it in, it was more so just the fact that I was worried about it being stolen in an area I live 7 hours away from. The reassurance of keeping it with the workers made my night so thank you. A FULL hydroflask I can understand, however we emptied the contents (which was just ice) right in front of the guard. Please take into consideration that some people may need access to specific water due to health reasons. Some basic human decency from the security guard would have gone a long way but unfortunately he lacks that. Invest in his training or fire him because he made us extremely uncomfortable and gave this Topgolf an uninviting atmosphere. read more

Parking is no issue, and charging stations provided by ChargePoint are complimentary for the first 3 hours. There is no need to bring any golf clubs with the exception of a glove since Top Golf provides everything you'll need. This was my guests first time visiting Top Golf, and this was my third time, but my first visit to this location. The hitting bays consist of three levels, and we came out on a Monday morning, so we didn't need to make any reservations. We opted for the $20.00 per person, which allows you to hit practice balls and play any games to 12:00 pm. We ended up playing for 2 hours. We ordered breakfast burritos, wings, and beverages. Service by the staff was attentive and friendly. Since it was my guest first time visiting Top Golf, we hit practice balls, played rounds of block party, and golfed a round at the Pebble Beach course. It was our first time booking for a group of 6 and fist time in a location in california. Some of our guests arrived before us and they tried to check in the woman at the front desk told them they weren't allowed to check in and they would have known that if i would have text them back. Our guests waited a few minutes for us to arrive When checking in, the gentleman checking us in also mentioned that i did not respond to the text and for future reference i needed to respond (I read the confirmation text but missed the end part that asked me to confirm). He checked us in told us our bay and then walked away. We followed him thinking he was showing us to our bay but he walked over to some other group. We eventually found our bay, upstairs. I have always wanted to check out Topgolf, so I was pretty excited when they opened a location in 626. It's appropriately located next to the Montebello golf course with a large parking lot. I came here for a birthday and we had two lanes, which allowed 6 players per lane. When I first arrived, I was hoping to keep our cake in the fridge before the birthday boy arrived, but they refused unless it was an ice cream cake. Even though mine wasn't an ice cream cake, it was tiramisu so it was melting. What difference was it going to make if my cake was going to melt in this heat? Plus, the AC inside wasn't cool enough either. The golfing experience was fun though. As most of us are newbies, we played the Block Party game which made everyone feel like a winner. There was also an Angry Bird game too. Note that if you're a lefty like I am, you can ask for a left-handed set of golf clubs. I also had a few drinks at the bar. The Cookie Butter Old Fashioned ($17.25) was OK but small as I finished after a few sips. My friend did have the Strawberry Mule ($14.75), which was very refreshing though. Overall, fun event for big groups and parties. It can definitely get pricey with the games, food and drinks though. First impressions here was actually good. I thought I was going to be a "Regular" Driving Range, but when we came in through the front gates of Top Golf. My mind was just blown away on how nice and beautiful the interior looked like. The gameplay itself is kinda just like Bowling but instead your swinging a golf club. It's so cool to see that each golf ball has its very own chip reader inside of them. So when you hit the ball far... on the TV screen, it will show on where the ball went to. Totally a high-end experience here. Definitely a TOP Golf experience. The food here was just phenomenal! I was thinking the food would be like not taste good. But hey! When our golf time was up but our food wasn't finished, I was still feeding my toddler her burger. The waitress repeatedly came over and told us our time was up and that we had to stop eating and leave -- even though there were still plenty of empty bays nearby. We were maybe 5-10 minutes past our golf time, and in the past when we've visited, we were always allowed to finish the food we paid for. This time, they even assigned another family to our spot while we were still sitting there. It was humiliating. Came to Top Golf over the weekend with a group of 5. We made a "reservation" online first and even paid a 25% deposit for 90 mins. Though it says to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your reservation time, our group ran a little late and it appeared thru the email system that our by would be ready by our reservation time at 9pm. When we walked in to check in, we told the front desk we had a bay # already, and they said we could just go up to it. We walked up to our bay exactly around 9pm. (Note: 100's are first floor, 200's are second floor, and 300's are third floor). Once we walked up to our bay, our server was Steven. We were trying to get logged/registered in to the TopGolf system. Our group chose to pay for one person's lifetime membership ($5) and just use one person's account to play. We then noticed that we only had ~70-ish mins. available left on the screen. We asked Steven what happened and he ended up looking into it for us. Our group didn't want to be charged for 90 mins. if we were only allowed to play for ~70 mins. Anyway, after a lot of back-and-forth that felt like it ate up at least 10-15 mins. of our play time, Steven was able to make sure we only paid for the time we used and settle our bill. Honestly, I think their online reservation system needs to be updated somehow or made to be more clear...If their system sends out the confirmation email around 15 minutes before your reservation time and you confirm, it starts to count your time at the bay at that time! That's a bit ridiculous. I know their website states to arrive 10-15 mins. early, but our time should literally start when we get there, not when you press "confirm" on the email. All this to say, thank you to Steven for helping our group figure out our charges...My group & I just think there's room for improvement with the online reservations or it should be made clear that your time starts once you "confirm" the email. Anyway, we had fun as a group. They've got different games you can play on screen in addition to just a normal driving range. We played "Angry Birds" on the TV screen which was actually pretty fun. Food & drink are available, though I didn't pay attention to the price...Their Blueberry Lemon Drop Martini was good, and I only had a bite of the Buffalo Chicken Nachos, which were meh (nothing to rave about). Restrooms are available on each floor. You can also request for left-handed clubs (if needed). Parking lot is free & huge. I do think 120 mins. (2 hours) is probably better for groups of 4 or more people. I'm just not sure how soon again we'd come because if online reservation system has the above issues & walking in has 1+ hour wait, I don't know if I'd want to deal with it again... read more

Topgolf is a fun place for a gathering of friends! Each bay can have up to 6 players and they have ample comfortable seating for your group. The servers were nice and always offered us water and even helped clean up the birthday cake we brought in and let us use their utensils with no complaints. Tons of parking and really clean! One huge complaint however, they REQUIRE you to enter your phone number in order to be added as a player on the screen. (It's mandatory, if you're not on the screen it defeats the purpose.) And if you've never been to a Topgolf and you're entering your number for the first time YOU WILL BE CHARGED 5$ just for being a new player. This place is already not cheap and we've already paid for the games but you're basically tacking on an additional 5$ for not having your phone number already in their system? I'm so confused, like what is the point? It's like paying cover charge for a club but need to pay extra 5$ just to order a drink if it's your first time there. I asked a server why do we need to pay 5$ if we've never been to a Topgolf and she says verbatim "Oh just in case" and I ask her "Just in case of what?" and she mumbled something and walked off. I don't blame the servers at all for this terrible policy. They were wonderful but I'm sure they're just as confused as we are, especially since this didn't happen at the Topgolf in Ontario. read more
