I visited this bowling alley for a company event and my experience here was good. Firstly, I was helping out with booking the event and I gave a sales member a call with questions. I forgot the name of the representative, but she was very helpful and friendly and even offered a discount for the booking! The website was also relatively easy to book and customize for our company's event. For the actual experience, walking in I liked the vibe! The interior was fun, nicely lit, and gave a fun and playful atmosphere for people of all ages. It was also very spacious as well with arcade machines, a bar, and several seating areas. Walking up to the counter to check-in and collect our show rentals was pretty seamless. For the bowling, it was super fun! The machine to register our names and whatnot was pretty easy to use. The bowling balls weren't dirty and playing with them was fun. The alley was well lit. There was a malfunction, but the staff fixed it pretty easily. We also had some food: -Veggie Plate: This was standard. It was a good compliment or all the fried foods. -Mozzarella Bites: My favorite! The bites were crispy and cheesy and I loved covering them in the marinara sauce. Super addictive. -Boneless Buffalo Wings and Fries: I'm not a huge fan of Buffalo flavored things, but the wings were pretty decent. Not too greasy and the chicken was moist. The fries were also nicely crispy. I also had Chardonnay from the bar and it was pretty solid as well. For parking, there's a huge outdoor parking lot since the bowling alley is located inside the Santa Anita mall. Overall, my experience here was pretty good and would be a nice option for a fun event with a group in the Arcadia area.

Bowlero is super fun. Eland with their summer deal, great bang for buck all summer long! For like $50 u can play everyday of the summer 2 games a day. Also for an extra $5 u get premium allowing u to go to any bowlero as well as earn $10 every time you come in arcade play. Are they running out of business? Lol what a deal. You get free rental shoes as well and bowling balls. Just return them at front desk after you finish playing. You can stay as long as you want for the duration of the two games. Also you can order food. Typical pizza, appetizers, burgers, finger food, fries, drinks, and alcoholic beverages. Good variety in the menu. They have a QR code menu and you order on the iPad and pay using the payment machine on right side. Their arcade isn't as big as other arcades but it is a bowling alley after all. It has everything u may want, all the popular games and claw machines. There is a self service kiosk as well as a prize desk to claim prizes from your tickets. I saw some little kid win a huge rainbow bouncy ball he won from the big claw machine! Totally doable. Ur not being scammed don't worry haha. The staff are super friendly and keep coming over to ask if we need any assistance or want to order any food or drinks! Great customer service. There is a restroom next to the event space at the back left corner near the parking garage entrance. This space is great for corporate events or birthday parties! Overall design of the place is super retro, neon lights, and modern/high tech. The colors give it a great vibe. The booths are comfortable and fit the decor well. each one has a bar counter behind it! Extra balls are on racks in the center near the extra tables and chairs. Overall the lanes are super clean and the bowling balls are used but still functioning. I find the medium holes great! Great job catering to a wide range of body sizes and abilities. Had a great time doing some bowling and recovering my form from before.

My friend and I decided to go bowling on a whim so we made a same day reservation online. When we got to the alley, they were initially unable to find our reservation since the front desk could only reference a paper print out from earlier in the day. The person at the front desk was friendly, but waiting for the manager to look up our reservation on a computer did cut into our paid reservation time. The first lane they put us on broke midway through our time slot so they had to move us to a new lane. At this point, the manager was kind enough to comp us an extra 30 minutes or gameplay which covered our total lost time. The lanes also use string pinsetters which was a disappointment. Supposedly they are more reliable, but obviously not. The music choice is millennial throwback and the decor is trendy. This is definitely more family focused entertainment and less of real bowling. My overall experience was OK.

This Bowlero can be found at The Shops at Santa Anita, downstairs by Fun Box and right outside of the food court. Bowlero took over the old Sport Authority location. I have only walked through Bowlero when I parked in the parking structure and would go visit the mall or walk back to my car. But I have never had the chance to actually bowled or play video games here until today. Last year I decided to purchase gift cards for Bowlero from Costco since they had a really good special and figured it would make for a fun date night for my husband and I or a play date with my nephews. My husband and I decided to take advantage of the current Spring Break special for unlimited bowling for $15.99, which includes rental shoes, that you can bowl from 11 am- 6 pm. We arrived around 2:15 pm and played for about 2 hours. We were able to bowl 7 games during that time. During this time, there were plenty of lanes open in case you were wondering if it was crowded. We also ended up ordering a pizza ($16.99 prior to tax) and a beer during that time. You are able to order (and pay) right at your assigned lane and a server will eventually bring out your order (we made our orders on 2 separate times). Please note if you are planning on paying with a virtual gift card, you will need assistance to help order your food, like we did. I thought the pizza was okay, but pretty oily (although that is to be expected). I think the size is good for 2 people to share. The employees we interacted with were friendly. Entering our names into the machine and starting new games after one has finished is pretty easy use. The bowling balls they have came in different sizes (from XS to XL). The restrooms I used (towards the back, close by the entrance/ exit from the parking structure) were clean. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back for another unlimited bowling special (which they have throughout the week).

The Bowlero is located on the ground level of the shopping mall, near the food court. It has a disorganized and crowded arcade section near the entrance. Once walking further inside, I think they have fairly spacious bowling lanes from both sides, good for large group hangouts, although their food menu is very limited.

Came here strictly for some drinks while waiting to check in at Kura Resolving Sushi. Bartender was attentive, my drinks tasted great! It wasn't busy for a weeknight. Will be back!

This Bowlero is super clean and the entire staff are super kind. They have some great promos to owl and play arcades as well. They have 36 lanes to bowl at! We did come with the kids during the week on their Spring Break so it wasn't so busy during the day. But I can imagine how fun and crazy it can get at nights. I really enjoyed being here today. Of course you can order food and drinks while you bowl too. Since we had to wait until noon for them to open we ended up having lunch next door at the food court of the mall. I forgot to mention that this location is in the Arcadia mall next to the food court. We'll definitely be bringing the r kids back and considering throwing a party at this location too for their next birthday. Thanks for a fun time

I purchased the voucher through Groupon. It came with free shoe rentals. It's a great deal and the kids really enjoy the bowling experience. I came on a Sunday afternoon, unfortunately, there was a bit of a wait. It would have been helpful to know about the waitlist beforehand instead of standing in a long line only to be directed to scan a barcode to join the waitlist. However, when we returned, a staff member kindly extended our time by an extra 10 minutes, which was a nice gesture. Once we got to our lane, we were getting set up. The server offered assistance, but we declined. The server came over a few times after the initial visit. As another reviewer say, I did feel like we were pressured to purchase food, since the server came over few times. We did end up purchasing food, since they do not allow outside food or drinks. One downside I noticed was the constant advertisements playing above all the lanes, which were quite distracting while trying to bowl.

I got the Summer Season Pass, it includes 2 free games of bowling every day, free shoe rental, $5 arcade play. The location was nice and spacious. Lots of parking available at that mall. The only thing that was really hard was trying to flag someone down to refill our drinks. The employee said they would but never came back. Children eating greasy food then touching the bowling balls was unsanitary.

I purchased a Groupon hoping to use it on a Monday night but when I checked the website every time slot was full until 930pm. They don't allow you to book a time slot using a Groupon which I feel is bad customer service. We took a chance and went anyways to possibly be put on a waitlist. We arrived at 800pm and the employee stated they had plenty of lanes available. They need to change their slot time bookings because it is very deceiving and inaccurate. Despite this issue we had a fun time bowling.

We brought my son on a Monday to celebrate his birthday. It was our first time visiting and we always wanted to check it out whenever we passed it while going through the mall it's located in. They had a day pass promotion that was $20-$25 per person that included shoe rental, 2 games of bowling, and 2 hours of arcade play. The arcade play did not earn you any tickets or prizes but it was still really cool to play games over and over again. The facility was super clean and it wasn't packed at all on a Monday. We really enjoyed the vibe and theme of the bowling alley. Super cool place to visit for a birthday, date night, or just to have some fun!

If you want your personal ball to be damaged and a rude front desk come to this bowling alley! Came in to bowl with friend, lanes are not conditioned well, staff is not attentive and rude, no help at all with questions regarding damages to ball or partial refund. I know on photos it doesn't look like much but a gash like that is not something I would like to experience while bowling at a named establishment. Also felt discriminatory as well can't say for sure. Food and drinks were ordered before guests that are next to us. We ended up picking up our own beers, waited for the sodas and had to ask after other guest were served their food and drinks first. Maybe its because we ordered from the kiosk not the worker that rolled his eyes at us for not ordering with him. All in all worst bowling alley experience and I have seen alot of bad ones. You have been warned.

    Kids at Bowlero take patience!

How does the bowlero gift card from Costco work? Can we use all gift cards at the same time paying for our lanes?

Yes you can use more than one gift card to pay for your games and can also use gift cards to pay for food a well. I used up to 3 gift cards from Costco to play and for food today.

I accidently purchased a groupon. Tried to get a refund but Groupon said Bolero refuses to give a refund. Groupon expires on July 30? With Bolero closed till July 30th, does anyone know if Bolero is honestly not processing refunds?

Do they have anything for kids to help them bowl?

They have bumpers that you can set for each player. One can also request a bowling assist ramp for young kids.

    How much does it cost?

Price changes by day and by time of day. It's cheaper to bowl during the week. They also have deals for bowling, like on Mondays they have unlimited bowling after 8 I think

It was a busy night apparently, but the lane next to us was empty for the duration of the time we were there. Interesting, but whatever. My cousin, who competes in local competitions, said the lanes are kind of whack as the pins go down a bit too easily and reward the crappier players. Not sure what he meant by that, but I did bowl better than my usual average of 65. Prices are decent and we took advantage of the 3-game special where the third game is half-off. Balls are in pretty decent shape and they have small to X large for everyone. Pro tip: there's a pretty good bar in here, sort of a hidden spot for locals here.
