PROS: if you just want to get a player card and play arcade games and be left alone you'll be ok. They don't really need human employees here, except when various vending machines and arcade games malfunction, which happened more than once during our one first and last visit. CONS: There are employees but there is no service, and if you want to do activities here that require employee intervention, they will make you regret bothering them and asking for service, they will be very angry and dismissive. I interacted with multiple employees and had the same negative experience. Nobody wanted to help. We asked one person and they'd send us to another area, and in that area they send us back to the original person that didn't want to help us. I understand this place serves alcohol and sometimes bar patrons need a stern hand, but we were there with kids who just wanted to play arcade games. This is not a place to come if youre a pro bowler. But even as a once in a while bowler, i could tell the lanes were half oiled. The dots for the lanes are also very faded so its hard to tell where to line up and the lanes are short. The pins are on strings and sometimes if the pin moves and lands on another pin itll think it didnt get knocked down. I saw a pin slide from the middle to the right side and it ended up not being a strike. Imo, it was hilarious but not for my friend cause it didnt count as a strike. The balls are weird. They have holes on 2 sides but its for different sized hands or fingers. They also wont let you get 2 separate lanes if you have 6 people or under, so itll feel cramped even if it isnt busy. My friends kids love this place. They have a small arcade section that we spent a decent while on since friends kids wanted prizes. It looks like they do have ayc bowl from 11-1 on saturdays and sundays. read more

This location is in the Santa Anita mall. Consequently, there is a large lot and parking structures. Regardless, the lots get full at peak hours: weekends, holidays, and sometimes evenings. It can be challenging to get a spot, but you can always park very far out and walk. We went on National Bowling Day and on a Sat so it was very crowded. Since we had a relatively large group we skipped the specials and just made a ln online reservation to secure our spot. While we were having lunch in the food court before our reservation, we saw that a line formed before they even opened. (Other Yelpers note that this is typical for this location and not just due to the holiday.) When we showed up for our reservation after lunch there was a short line inside. We got our shoes relatively quickly and the manager escorted us to our lane. We arrived during the 15 min grace window for our reservation. You enter your names on the key pad and the computer keeps score for you. They have little ball drop ramps for small children and can probably give you bumpers for the gutters if you ask for small kids. The waitress showed up and was very friendly and gave us water without us asking. Only issue is that they end your session right when the timer runs out up on the score screen in the upper left corner. The lanes were clean and the balls, shoes, seats, and place generally seemed pretty new and not run down. Overall, we had a nice time and Wilkin's come back. If going, check online for specials. Some specials you need to walk in for and they are only good at certain hours. If you have a big group 6+ ppl then it might be better to pay full price and reserve online as you may need two lanes and then you know you will be next to each other with a reservation. We came here for a birthday party and had a wonderful time. The bowling alley is spacious and clean. It has a fun and inviting space. It's near the food court and Cheesecake Factory on the first floor in the mall. I loved that it was great for kids. The railings are mechanical and come up and down per person bowling. The balls were brightly colored as well as the ball ramp for little ones. Food was mediocre but what do we expect with a bowling alley. Consistent to what you'd think bowling food would be. I received a call from Funbox 5 minutes before setting up for my daughter's 11th birthday, saying there was an electrical fire, and the party would have to be canceled. We had 3 cakes, ice, party favors and 30 guests arriving in 15 minutes. I immediately called Lucky strike and told them what happened, and without a moment's hesitation they took us all in and made it work! It was the fastest smoothest pivot I have ever made from a curve ball in my life. It is all thanks to the kindness, professionalism and generous attentiveness I received from every employee at Lucky Strike who I dealt with. In the end, the kids had so much fun, it was 100 thousand times better than the original plan. Thank you to all involved for creating such a lovely memory for us all. I come on Wednesdays usually. Really love fish tacos, moz sticks, fries and had a good drink w blue curaçao but im a lightweight and didnt even relax me, dobt know what was going on there. Whoever is doing the frying 5, never greasy, hot and crisp. Other places i dont even order these snacks bc of sub par frying but . Biggest problem is we like to eat in the raised lounge section, no one ever comes. Usually we have to get a manager or someone, theres staff walking by all the time btw. Or we go order w bartender and we wait and wait, she always handles her part w drinks, we not once have ordered food without having to remind someone about our order and its always a wait, this is in the afternoon its not crowded. I want to love it, just wish they would work on the food service if youre not bowling. We go to play video games and we've spent a lot of money there. This is my husband and I's go to bowling alley. When we got the summer pass this is the location we chose. It's always a great experience all staff is super friendly. Zeke helps us out majority of the time we are bowling and he's always so pleasant. This location is very attentive and makes sure to check on you or if you ever need anything. You never will feel like a burden if you ever just want water or if your ball gets stuck or even when there's something going on with the pins they're all so quick to help. Truly love this location. My little cousins and I had went there after our uncles memorial hoping to just blow off some steam and spend some quality time with each other after a very long, emotional, and trying day... when we got there the kid that was at the check in area was kind of rude and had us join a waitlist but didn't really offer any information as to how long it would be or anything all he said was "we close at 11" mind you we had gotten there at 9... We stayed to wait and had a fish bowl at the bar... I want to preface that the bartender was such a sweetheart so this review isn't for him at all or the very sweet girl at the check in desk with the bowling earrings! These two were such a delight! Thank you two for being sweet and hearing me out! Now back to the one star review.. I tried to talk to a few other people because there were sooooo many lanes open even when we had gotten there! One server explained that it could be that they were closing lanes down for the night but honestly that sucks... if we had just gotten placed in a lane when we arrived (as I mentioned there was quite a bit open at least 6) we would have played our one game and been done with it before 11 even came around... idk it just is disappointing... we were having such a tough day and no one there seemed to care or even try to accommodate us... we just wanted to bowl and have some laughs after having to say bye to our uncle read more

Came here when it was Bowlero. Stopped coming because the food and service was subpar. Didn't feel welcomed. Decided to try it again when it became Lucky Strike. What a huge difference! Our first family gathering was so fun that when we won a free bowling party, we didn't hesitate to return. There is a distinctive difference between the service we revieved at Bowlero and Lucky strike. Why? I totally believe it's the management team. They truly lead by example. Thomas the manager..he was clearing tables in the lanes. Without hesitation, he ran down to help front desk as we were a party of 20 and holding up the lines. When he walked away, I commented to his staff how nice that was. The response I got from the.staff was so complimentary of his management style. On our second bowl party , Jocelyn the Assistant manager who set up my party checked us in. Soon as I walked up to the counter, I felt welcomed. She even walked us to out lanes. Who does that? The server Ang was busy running around wiping tables and attending to other customers. I didn't want to order via scan. I commented to Jocelyn how Ang was hustling so fast that I couldn't catch her. Without hesitation, Jocelyn offered to take my order. Love teamwork. Eventhough we ran into a few glitches with the lanes Jocelyn made it right by giving us more time to bowl. Lucky strike has got this right. They have hired stellar managers who really understand the importance of customer service. With another bowling alley in town, I have no hesitation to recommend Lucky Strike as THE place to gather for parties and/or just for a few hours of fun. You can guarantee your guests will be served great food and drinks and have a clean, fun place to hang out. We have been coming to this location for several years, and whenever we get Jessica as our server, she ensures we have a wonderful experience! Jessica is personable, attentive, and always accurate with our food/drink orders. Even when there are multiple birthday parties and lots of people demanding her attention, Jessica checks in on us and keeps our drinks refilled.
