I came in with a vehicle that had already been appraised at over $40,000, yet they immediately offered me around $30,000 for my trade-in without and reasonable explanation. It felt like they were intentionally undervaluing my vehicle and dismissing its actual market value. What made the experience worse was the attitude from Michael (Manager). The conversation came across as condescending, and instead of working with me to find a fair deal, it felt more like pressure tactics and misleading statements about both my vehicle and the Ford Lightning's depreciation. Rather than making me feel like a valued customer, the experience made me feel disrespected and frustrated. After leaving, I went to Bowen Ford and had a completely different experience. Ali Gurgen treated me professionally, respected the value of my trade-in, and offered over $43,000 right off the bat, without games or unnecessary pressure. Bowen Scarff Ford service department does not understand the concept of an appointment. I have repeatedly made appointments to have my Ford serviced and taken it there. They repeatedly contrive to find ways to have to keep the car overnight. The "appointment " is only the time for you to leave it. It has nothing to do with when they might get around to looking at it. Appointment and work schedule are dissociated concepts. Being ambushed with my car being unexpectedly unavailable to me for another day poses hardships difficult to overcome. I made very certain the last time I made an appointment (over a week in advance) that I needed the car back the same day. They acknowledged the requirement and assured me. they were supposed to have my car for a week. im 20 so i cant get a rental car but i had no clue how that worked. The person that was helping me with my car told me to come in and bring someone over 21. so i did. i thought it was going to be a co signer kind of deal but the only way i could get the rental was if it was put under the other person insurance and neither of us were okay with that. and it felt incredibly scammy to say bring someone over 21 and not specify what was going to come from that. today is the 20th and they got my car on the 8th. they were supposed to be done on the 16th. the 17th is when he called abt the rental and if i needed one. completely ridiculous going almost 2 weeks without a car. and they are trying to make light of the situation. there is no light this is a shitty situation and im pissed. i drove 35 minutes to get a rental car i couldn't even have. these cars always have something going wrong with them to and every single time i have gone to a ford dealership something goes wrong or something takes longer than its supposed to. its terrible and it happen every time. literally if ford was my last option for a dealership i rather walk. never buy a ford whatever you do. and this is my first time writing a review so just know they done fucked up read more

I'm disappointed in the integrity of Bowen Scarff leadership. I purchased my truck there and have had it consistently maintained, including a recent and significant investment in new brakes, brake fluid service, spark plug replacement and other preventative services. Upon returning home, I noticed the skid plate was hanging down underneath my truck and discovered that a bolt had been overtightened and tore out the corner of the plate. The dealership acknowledged removing and reinstalling the plate, but would not take responsibility for the damage. I had to return to the dealership and pay for a new skid plate. I will not be doing business with Bowen Scarff in the future and I would advise all my connections to consider my experience before establishing a relationship with this organization in the future. read more

**One of My Worst Experiences** This cost me around **$7,000** in charges, and then they tried to bill me **over $20,000** for a new engine. Let me tell you what happened so you think twice before taking your diesel truck to this dealership for repairs. A few months ago, my **2019 Ford F-150 diesel (3.0L)** started acting up. Sometimes it wouldn't start, and other times it ran fine. I thought it might be the **fuel pump**, so I decided to take it to this **Ford dealership**--figuring their mechanics would easily diagnose the issue. They charged me **$350** just to inspect it. They drove it around, and after 20 minutes, it stalled on them. Then they told me they weren't sure what was wrong and needed to run **deeper diagnostics**--which would cost **$1,800**. They tested the injectors, fuel pressure, and other things, claiming **two injectors had low pressure**. They replaced them (charging me for it) and said that should fix the problem. **But it got worse.** After **two months** of them having my truck--still no solution--they drove it again and called me to say **new error codes popped up**. Now the engine was making noises (which it never did before), stalling, and wouldn't restart. Finally, after **2.5 months** of failed guesses, they told me I needed a **new engine** for **over $20,000**--after already charging me **$7,000** for their trial-and-error "repairs." At that point, I decided to take my truck elsewhere. But guess what? They didn't even have it at the dealership--it was at some off-site lot where customers weren't allowed. And my truck? **Dead. Wouldn't start.** I finally found a **Ford diesel specialist**. He took one look and found the **real issue**: an **electrical problem**. Water was leaking through the **passenger-side windshield**, soaking the computer--that's why it sometimes wouldn't start. Now, the truck starts, but the engine **smokes heavily and knocks**. The mechanic confirmed it needs a **new engine**. I'm **100% sure the dealership's "mechanics" destroyed my engine**--and still had the nerve to charge me **$7K** for their amateur work. **Moral of the story?** Avoid this dealership for diesel repairs. They're just **amateurs guessing**. We recently had to have our 207 Class A motorhome (built on Ford F53 chassis) serviced, and had it towed to Bowen Scarff, because they have a commercial truck service department (and therefore can handle large vehicles like our motorhome). Corinne worked with us from start to finish and was unfailingly pleasant and personable. Many motorhome owners complain that they cannot get their rigs serviced by Ford dealers but I had no problem and they took care of it competently. There was some confusion when I first dropped off the vehicle about where it was to be taken (fleet service is at a different but nearby site), but that was cleared up with a phone call and everything went smoothly after that. I would definitely recommend Bowen Scarff to other motorhome chassis owners, and want to give a special shoutout to Corinne for making the whole process as smooth as possible for us. read more
