I'm in the process of custom building a "Cavalli-Kan Kumisa III" headphone amplifier. I looked and found Front Panel Express (FPE) to create the front panel containing the volume, LED pilot light and input phono jack. Let me say, I'm absolutely impressed with my interaction with FPE from using their fantastic design tool creating the panel design through getting the end result. Although they normally take design submission through email from their design application, I contacted them via phone and took my design in on a jump drive to be reviewed to assure I had accurate measurements. My interaction was beyond fantastic, very professional as I got my design throughly reviewed to assure everything will fit after the panel is created. Today, I just got the package via UPS mail and it came professionally boxed and the panels were shrunk wrapped. I'm blown away as to how professional the panel looks and can tell FPE is detailed oriented and has focus on the small details that makes all the difference. I highly recommend using Front Panel Express for fabricating face plates for DIY stereos and amplifier enclosures.

I went to this machine shop with a small one-time project. I should have noticed the warning…read moresigns: (No estimate as to how long the job would take AND no estimate on the cost of the project). After nearly two weeks with not hearing any word from the shop, I decided to pull the project. The work they did perform was, (which wasn't 1/2 of what was expected to be done), two cuts on two pieces of pipe and ream out 4 fittings to fit on the pipe. I was assured that the ream job would fit onto the pipes. After getting home I discovered that three of the fittings would not fit at all on the pipes. In the end what it amounts to is that I paid $65.00 to have them saw off two ends of pipe.
