First, Dr. Doerge was awesome! Love the guy...treated my wife and I with respect 110% of the time. Massage Therapists were awesome! Great job every time...the 3* are for these people. Sadly, the rehab specialist was not a good situation...my wife was repeatedly yelled at for not coming early enough to get all her work done...though half the time she was there she was ignored. But you can only do so much in the time they schedule you. And honestly I felt uncomfortable around this person almost all the time. We only went for two months...and still are paying this off. They will quote to very low prices for everything only to have them almost double. Make sure they check with your insurance company before giving you "Estimates." Its been about 4 months since I first visited the Bothell Chiropractic & Wellness office and I'm happy to report that I am feeling so much better than when I started. Most of the aches and pains I started with have been eleviated and now it seems we are focusing on the last area that's really holding out (and is probably the true cause of all my suffering:-P). My job has me sitting in front of the computer screen most of the day and overtime bad posture can set in and wreak havoc on your upper and lower back...with Dr. Dubois and Dr. Parker's help, we've strengthen the muscles and opened up the nerve pathways that's causing all the issues. They've encouraged me to take charge of my of my own recovery and really use what I do during my visits to make it part of my normal routine at work and at home...as with any physical therapy, the results are truly driven on how committed you are in getting better and staying better. I have been coming here since the middle of December 2011. I got a Groupon gift from a friend, for a an examination on my neck and upper back from a prior car accident in 2005.They took x-rays and told me what kind of treatments I needed and which steps to take to begin my treatment.They were very uplifting in helping to set a goal to get myself corrected. I was very skeptical on getting treatment because of my financial status at that time. I thought about it for a few weeks and decided to come back in January, since I am young enough to get it fixed, instead of refusing treatment and dealing with the pain. The staff is so kind and welcoming when I come in. The ladies at the front desk always remember my name and have a smile on there face and answer the phone professionally. I've been seeing Dr. DuBois off and on for many years now, ever since she was at Kaufman Chiropractic. One of the pains on my job involves sitting in a desk all day long, and I've visited quite a few chiropractors over the years because of it, and have to say this place is my favorite. I can't say enough about Ideal Protein and the Bothell Chiropractic & Wellness clinic; in short, I LOST 35 POUNDS IN 3 MONTHS! I know people are skeptical of diet plans, I was myself, but after seeing my co-worker lose nearly 80lbs I knew I couldn't ignore the results. My counselor, Alana, was with me every step of the way and I thank her for her support and guidance. I went in to see about help for migraines and a stiff neck. I was pretty apprehensive about manual neck adjustments. They have the pulsestart machine that does an adjustment with the traditional manual movement type of adjusting. I could feel a difference right away! Dr Morgan worked with me to create a plan consisting of adjustments, stretches, and exercises that would help retrain my muscles to hold my bones in the right place. SUZANNE CLARK is the best massage therapist I have ever had! I have been training for a 500 mile bike ride over the last few months and needless to say I have had many aches and pains! She knows exactly how to massage the muscles to loosen the tight spots and alleviate my pain! I would highly recommend her if you are needing deep tissue massage or sports therapy massage. I've seen Dr Lynna for regular adjustments for the past 2 months. I was in severe pain in my neck, shoulders and arms. She has helped bring my pain level down to a tolerable level and helped me gain endurance and strength again so that I can continue training for a 500 mile upcoming bike ride as well as perform my best at work and other daily activities. Initially impressed by the well put together and elegant lobby and waiting area we had high hopes. My wife went in for help with her neck as she has had pain in it on and off for a number of years and had never sought care. After they took x rays and did an initial exam they had her come back a few days later. Once we got into the back, Dr. Treadway went over the x-rays and employed the sales funnel he is obviously heavily trained on. Using attention grabbing words like "poor health" when describing the health of her spine (Only to later say it was at the first stage of decline out of 3) and asking bizarre rhetorical, leading questions that came off as extremely patronizing. Questions like "So you told me that taking care of your neck is important to you, are you ready to start treatment then?". These are clearly out of an outdated commission sales model (I used identical phrasing when selling unneccessary accounts and lines of credit at Wells Fargo in 2015) he then got out his scratch piece of paper and permanent marker and started to go over the 3 CONVENIENT PAYMENT OPTIONS that "when we went with the one lump sum at a discounted price of $1800 we would saving the most money" and "They don't take individual payments because they can't afford to pay a cashier to run the credit card machine." (As two receptionists were manning the front desk) And the kicker? After we informed him we would need time to think his offer over (her neck did hurt) and we got up to leave, he blurts out that he would be charging us $182 for the x rays and first visit. (On the back of his card it states "See my Doctor for a FREE Chiropractic Evaluation: Includes X-Rays and Report of Findings ($350 value) The moral of the story? Avoid them like Ebola. They are doctors in the sales business. You are NOT their #1 concern, your pocket book is. read more

I love Bothell Chiropractic and Wellness. Everyone is so friendly, flexible and helpful. It is obvious that everyone at BCW loves working there. I go in every Monday and get adjusted by Dr. DuBois. I have been to other chiropractors before, but I receive the best service from Dr. DuBois. I wouldn't go anywhere else! The other chiropractors at the office (who I go to when she is out of the office) are also great. I also am lucky enough that I get to see an amazing Massage Therapist, Suzanne, every other week. She is a life saver! I have a desk job, and have lots of issues with my back and shoulder muscles from staring at a computer all day. Suzanne is AMAZING! I feel so much better after I see her. We went to Bothell Chiropractic and Wellness after a car accident for about 4 months from March-July of 2015. They recommended extensive treatment (Massage and Adjustments) indefinitely 2-3 times a week. This was our first experience with a car accident and receiving treatment. At the end of 3 months, unbeknownst to us, our PIP coverage had run out. Unfortunately, NO ONE, not one person or even once gave us any updates on what had been charged on our PIP and how much was left. So not knowing until after the fact, we continue to seek treatment until the end of July when I get a letter from our car insurance that our PIP had run out at the end of June. We immediately call Bothell Chiropractic and Wellness to find out why they never alerted us or hadn't give us any updated regarding our PIP coverage. They essentially said that it was not their responsibility to do so. After going back and forth for several minutes trying to find resolution, they simply said that we would be responsible for the outstanding balance since we exhausted our PIP coverage. I asked them to submit all remaining medical bills to our medical insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield). That was the end of July 2015. Fast forward to November of 2016. We receive a bill from Bothell Chiropractic and Wellness stating that we owe approximately $2800 that I thought they submitted to our insurance back in July of 2015. For reasons still unknown to me, they never did that. In fact, they had the gall to say to us that they didn't know that is what we desired them to do when I explicitly called to ask them to submit all remaining medical bills to Blue Cross Blue Shield. I think common sense would prevail here. Isn't this why people get medical insurance? After a failed attempt to submit the medical bills due to it being over a year since the treatments, Bothell Chiropractic and Wellness isn't taking any responsibility for their lapse in judgment and careless handling of our case. They are insisting that we pay for the entire bill when we would essentially pay 50% of what they are charging us if they had submitted it to our insurance in the first place. I have called numerous times leaving messages asking to speak with their office manager or someone from billing to no avail. This has been the most unprofessional and show of disregard for truth and transparency that we have ever experienced in our lives. They already received $10,000 from our insurance of the treatments from March through June and one of the doctors there said that they have to look out for themselves and their families. Speechless! My family has been in Bothell for over 12 years now, but I can honestly say that this is our first time writing anything on yelp (good or bad) because we have never experienced anything to the degree of what we have experienced here. read more

I was having some lower back pain. I decided to try the chiropractor. They informed me I'd have to come 3 times per week to have any benefit, so I changed my work schedule so I could come 3 times a week. After 2 months I still did not feel any better, but I did feel poorer. I stopped going. But that's not the worst part. My girlfriend recently had some major back pain and decided to go to the same chiropractor (based on the yelp reviews). They took an xray of her back, and informed her that she had major bone degeneration in her hips. There was no way to reverse it, but of course regular trips to the chiropractor could help manage the issue. She was understandably saddened, as she's still a young woman. A few weeks later, when she was still in pain (despite getting several adjustments), she decided to go to an actual doctor. They took their own xrays, as well as looked at the previous xrays. They literally laughed out loud at how bad the diagnosis of bone degeneration was, and informed her that her bones were fine, and with some physical therapy she'd be just fine. After working with a physical therapist for about a week, she's doing much better. read more

I came here after a car accident in March. I was set up with a care plan that started with 3 visits a week for 8 weeks, then went down to two visits a week for another 8 weeks. In total the plan was about 5 months long. I genuinely did feel better after everything, this review is more about the shadiness of their collection practices and complete lack of communication. I received an email 11/10/2015 about a $1000 bill that, "has been turned over to patient responsibility as we have not been able to get in contact with you." They never attempted to contact me! This email was the first I knew about any bill due! On my last visit I provided my personal insurance information because I knew my PIP plan was going to run out soon. They never told me there was any problem with my personal insurance and never tried to reach me about it. I replied to the email I received that same day (11/10/2015) stating that I provided my personal insurance and if they have issues please contact me. 2 weeks go by without a single word. I email AGAIN (11/23/2015) saying I am considering this matter resolved since I never heard back.. Of course, THEN they respond. I'm trying to get this resolved and you don't respond for two weeks and only respond after I say I assume its resolved? GREAT customer service (said no one ever). I do not recommend them for their horrible communication and follow up. read more

WOW! I just saw this for the first time. I am not surprised for some reason. This just validates my remarks. You, Dr. Dusty were the one that worked on me. Glad I made a lasting impression. So there is no mistake on the office. It was yours. My son and I both came there and I paid cash for our deductible $250 EACH. I was so upset with it all and was going to fight to the bitter end to get my money back because I found out that you were NOT to take my deductible per my insurance company. On top of taking that , I was paying a co pay each time. Your billing is messed up. No mistakes here. I pray that others don't get swindled by your office. CROOKS! read more

Contacted them in February about a painful shoulder. They immediately billed my insurance $1,400 and charged me another $2,200 (total of $3,600) for 36 visits over three months. After balking at first, like an idiot I paid in full. After two months my shoulder felt worse. I told Dr. Morgan Binnie that I didn't see any point in continuing and was going to go see my regular doctor at the Lakeshore Clinic. Morgan told me that I had made progress and that she expected to see me there for my next session. I told her that I disagreed. Soon after that, I emailed her and told her how my regular doctor said Morgan has misdiagnosed me. Those two months of treatments were a total waste of time. But I was very gracious and said that I would like a refund of my unused sessions. Morgan never responded to me again. I dealt with someone at their front desk (who were always very polite) and they gave me a $498 refund, which was lower than what I believe I had coming. I accepted it because I did not want the hassle, though I have nagging thoughts about whether I should file a lawsuit to get a full refund. The only positive I can cite is that my neck felt looser than it had in a long time. But I didn't go there for that, I went there for a very painful shoulder. Each session had a lot of gimmicky stuff that made little or no difference in how I felt. And believe me, I desperately wanted to see signs that I was healing up. In looking back, in my opinion Morgan fully believes she is helping people with a faith that borders on dogma. But her ceasing to communicate after I told her of my what my doctor said showed a lack of professionalism among other things.. . In retrospect, their game plan is clear. Reel the patient in and get them on a long-term plan that turns them into regular members -- much like how an athletic club conducts business. read more

Who: Dr. Parker When: January 14, 2013 (Visit) Current Date: Mar 30, 2013 (Now Mostly Recovered) Summary: I went in for my first appointment with minor muscle aches, and left debilitated for over two months with what has been described by a few physicians as a "slipped rib." I am 28 years old. Note: I posted a complete summary of what happened at this appointment in Google reviews. To avoid either as being flagged as spam, I am paraphrasing it here. That review is more complete and may be more helpful. I saw Dr. Parker for the first time in January. I had minor muscle soreness in my upper back which could easily have been from a workout the day prior. I went in attempting to get an Rx for massage. The doctor performed a partial adjustment and in doing so left me with excruciating rib pain beneath my shoulder blade and especially near the spine. I had a great deal of trouble getting off the table. The pain was indescribable and the doctor wasn't comfortable completing the adjustment. I sat on ice for about 15-20 minutes in the waiting room and was assured this was normal. It hurt to breath, move, sit or stand. I thought he had fractured a rib for sure. They insisted on a second appointment to review my X-rays and have another adjustment the following day. I canceled that appointment the next morning. The next day I was still experiencing the same degree of pain and saw a primary care physician. They did X-rays to make sure I did not have a cracked rib. I did not. For the next two months I saw a handful of doctors and specialists. Last on the list was a physical medicine doctor who prescribed physical therapy. It has since improved dramatically and I can now pop my rib back into place on my own. I have never had a rib slip out until the appointment with Dr. Parker. Now it happens at least 2-3 times per week. Sneezing is my biggest fear. During the last two months I have not been able to exercise and normal activities can cause the pain to amplify. Luckily I will be able to return to light exercise in about a week. The environment at this place is gimmicky. By that I mean it seems like they want you to buy lots of their products regardless of whether or not it is to your benefit. I have received calls and e-mails ever since that appointment to make another and also to attend their various wellness seminars and other events aimed at selling you any number of products they offer (like the "Ideal Protein"). For more details, please see my Google review. You can probably guess it's in the 'poor to fair' category. My experience was not good, but I don't doubt for a second that they have helped people. Just proceed with caution and look before you buy. If it feels like a gimmick, it probably is a gimmick. read more

If you're going in for one or two adjustments don't bother they will turn you away, apparently there is not enough money in it for those type of treatments. I would NEVER recommend Dr. DuBois or her clinic to anyone, for any reason. My visit felt more like a high-pressure sales experience then a doctor's visit. I felt misled, confused and mocked. My experience with the health profession is that on the first visit, the doctor examines you and then tells you what's wrong. In the case of injuries, they hand you a splint or a cast, and refer you to a physical therapist. It's perfectly reasonable to expect to walk away knowing what is wrong with you, and with some relief of your pain. Dr. DuBois tried to convince me that this was completely unreasonable. In the chiropractic business, apparently it is acceptable to subject the client to tons of high-tech tests, including expensive x-rays, only to tell them that the initial visit is only an examination, NOT a 'report of findings,' or any explanation of what is wrong. No one informed me of this when I made my appointment. If I had know, I would not have come in. I was in pain, and Dr. DuBois offered to 'adjust' me, even though she claimed not to have had enough time to look over the tests and discover the problem. I was left with the option of a slight relief from pain but commitment to several more visits I couldn't afford, or no relief at all and STILL having no clue what was wrong until I came in the next day. I felt tricked; what any other health care provider will do in one session, Dr. DuBois splits into two, and uses the client's ignorance of chiropractic science as her excuse. She also ignored the fact the I have very little money, and cannot afford continuous office visits or x-rays, even though I made that clear from the beginning. She even told me, "I'm SURE you can afford three visits!" moments after I told her that I couldn't. I am still in pain, with no explanation of why my back hurts or any idea what to do about it myself, but under no circumstances will I go back to Dr. DuBois. read more

I feel like this place needs to clearly layout what your experience is going to be before you go in. The space is great! Very modern with lots of "health" type stuff in it. Everyone was super friendly. My complaint is that they don't do any actual work on you for what I can tell is at least three visits. Here's my experience. I have a nagging pinched nerve in my shoulder. I was able to get in the day I called for an appointment. Great, I though, relief soon! I got there and the doctor asked a lot of questions and basically intimated this was a holistic type of approach and there would be no drugs or surgery involved. Then we did xrays. Once the xrays were done they told me to make another appointment for later in the week to go over the xrays and formulate a treatment plan, and then make another appointment to actually get treatment! Also they didn't have many openings for later in the week (this was on a Monday) and wanted me to schedule for the next week. I've been to chiropractors before. Every one of them would do an eval and then do an adjustment the same day so you felt some relief. It feels like these guys are kind of running a scam. While it looks like from the reviews they do great work once they start doing it, it looks like they try to get as many appointments out of you as possible to bill to insurance. read more

Terrible experience! I used to see a chiropractor regularly up until I had a baby in September. After 2 months I was having pain in my back and needed to see a chiropractor that was closer to home so I tried Bothell chiropractic. When I called, I asked if they will do an adjustment the first visit vs just a consultation and the receptionist said it depends. When I got there and was required to take X-ray, I asked if I could get an adjustment after and was told they never do adjustments on the first visit. On my next visit they gave me a sales pressured result of findings and wanted me to pay thousands of dollars right then. I was in pain and was considering this for my health. After a couple of visits, I decided I was going to see a chiropractor that could work on a plan that was closer to what my insurance offered. My last visit, I was told I had to pay for the rest of my visits so I did. When I was told the amount, I asked for a detailed receipt of what that included as it seemed high and I was told she didn't have that information. I didn't think it was worth too much of a hassle so I just left. This was in October. In February I receive a bill from them. I called as I thought this was sent in error, but nobody called me back. I called again and left another 3 messages before I get another mailed bill. Terrible customer service and their billing seems to be an issue as I have read other reviews with the same problems. read more

As a former patient / Employee... back in 2011, I was in an externship for medical billing but was hired as a rehab specialist/Chiro assistant .I at first loved the environment loved the new challenges and the staff. Dr Parker is amazing. Kim and Danielle were a blast to be around. The chiropractic care I received was great for my needs it helped and it was free. As for the way the place was ran? Well proof is in the pudding consistently double booked patients an arrogance toward men! Consistently ignoring patients. Bad billing practices I should've been hired for the billing?. A lack of respect that was carried down from the owner Dr. Dusty ( Her Girls ) would carry out that demeanor as well. Some have quit... I left on my own terms,with a shirt to Dusty's face after she cursed at me about a damn item she forgot for an event, she made me drive her truck back to get it. The ideal protein was more important then any Chiropractic needs. Often forcing another Dr out of there office to accommodate less important matters like storing boxes of ideal protein? Typically before council with a client. The Chiro assistant was very rude Ironically she is in a higher position of late. Lots of profanity and degrading comments toward men. Dr Dusty's professional dress was far to casual on most days sporting low cut tops that showed way to much but yet she would stare hard into her wall of mirrors usually adjusting her top before the client was flipped.. LOL Personally I have nothing to say bad about the Dr.s abilities to help people. Just the owners ability to Manage her personal in a respectful functional way taking co pays was always a big deal there for some reason usually causing serious headaches for clients. Went to a "Wellness class" Dr.Dubois noticed that I had tremors. Told me that she thought she could help me. Enough said, I'm in! After 2 adjustments, I could see a remarkable difference! I went here hoping to get an adjustment after moving from out of state. I chose it due to their high ratings online. I was already receiving chiropractic care in the state from which I had moved. Instead of requesting that chiropractor's records, I had to go through the new patient appointment and was charged my copay without receiving an adjustment. I was told to come back after they had time to evaluate some photos they had taken. I returned for the follow up and was talked through a sales pitch on why I should have 12 adjustments in 1 month (which is HALF of the amount of adjustments my insurance allows me for a YEAR). I told the doctor honestly I couldn't afford that because I'm about to have a baby, and it would use too many of my allowed visits. He abruptly stood up and said "well, I can get you the name of someone down the road who does as you need it adjustments. We only do plans here." He then marched to the front desk, told them to print the name off for me, and left me alone. First, I was already doing a plan with my other chiropractor that I simply needed to continue, in which I was already past the point of having every other day appointments for over a year now. Yet he was wanting to start all over? I feel like I was being scammed where he wanted to use up all of my insurance so that I would have to pay a larger fee to see him out of pocket. On top of that, he didn't have to make me feel like I was being kicked out of his office. I am new to the Bothell area, and I hope this isn't an example of what all "professionals" in this area act like. read more

I have had great results with Dr. Everett. She is the only chiropractor that ever took the time to really examine and uncover the underlying cause of my chronic pain. Not your typical "car crash" office, they are truly interested in the long-term relationship for the benefit of the patient. After 4 months I am almost pain free, and probably avoided shoulder surgery. I am sleeping well after years of discomfort, and my daily life is so much better as a result of the work and the care plan I received at Bothell Chiropractic. It is truly a partnership between the patient, the practitioner, and the many people there that care for me. On maintenance now, and doing my part in the treatment, I have a very different life without pain. I would strongly recommend them to anyone willing to get serious about self-care. read more

Front office full of loud, gossipy young girls complaining about a conference they are being forced to attend, massage therapist who did not shake my hand when I tried to shake hers, rap music as background music in a garish harem themed room, and when I asked for full body Swedish massage with treatment focus on neck and shoulders (I suffer from chronic pain due to spinal fusions and other back issues), I received a back "rub", some calf rubbing, light rubbing on front of my throat area, no feet, no arms, no hands, NO NECK (cervical spine), and a real sense of loss of time, gas, and money, as well as a neck still in spasm. Nice place, poor service, inexperienced massage therapists. My HUSBAND could have done infinitely better!!!. read more

This review is for their massage therapy department only. Not sure if the front desk staff are properly trained but I had to call it quits with BCW after many turnovers in staff and appointments being cancelled without any notification. I need a reliable place to go for medical massage twice a week and this place have left me very disappointed :( Sad to see it go downhill... read more

The staff is very friendly. They are accommodating with schedule changes, and always greet customers with a smile. Dr. Lies is my primary caretaker, but have seen the other chiropractors at least once, and they are just as knowledgeable, accommodating and personable. Highly recommend this clinic! read more
