It is very hard to schedule with these folks, as well as coordinating treatment details and billing. I am currently working reduced hours on light duty, and still cannot schedule an evaluation without missing work. God forbid you ever try to come here for an L&I-covered injury--you would be better served just walking away. I have been treated (or attempted to be treated, at least) for three separate injuries at this office over the past three years, and each visit has been sincerely in enjoyable. It may have been the enormous bill I received after visit when my insurance was out of network, or their insistence that I MUST contact my physician, insurance provide, case manager to get treatment protocols and forms that ONLY THEY NEED related to treatment. Their therapists are great, but everything else related to this practice will give you an enormous headache! read more

Absolutely superb physical therapists, technicians, and therapy at this location. You can't go wrong here. I've seen them for a couple things, and my wife has also worked with them on some issues. My most recent experience was an intense rehabilitation (still going on) for a complete knee replacement. This is a knee that's been needing to be replaced for years (decades?), but I kept pushing it off with other treatments. And it's a knee with five previous surgeries of various types and severities. So, rehabbing this knee is not easy task. The PTs here are up to it. Easily up to it. Everyone here is patient focused, kind, attentive, knowledgable, thorough, caring, and professional. You have no doubt they have your best interests at heart. One of the absolute best PT clinics in the Seattle region. And worth traveling to get here. read more

At the time I was bringing my elderly parents and they were very hard to please but Tyler managed to bring some joy into their life. He is very knowledgeable, caring and fun to be around. For years I dealt with knee and sciatica pain, gradually becoming an expert at compensating in my daily life. In ONE session with Dr. Andrea Schafer she addressed and cured my sciatica (the reason I went in, flair up time!!). I was truly astonished and I can say a year after my original appointment, I am symptom free. I also turned my knee in for a tune up and I can now go up stairs without pain! I actually never thought that would be the case. Dr. Andrea is thorough and truly gifted as a PT. I would recommend her care, and the care of all the PT's in the clinic! All Physical Therapy is not created equal. As an ex collegiate softball player, and competitive snowboarder, with a Posterior Labrum surgery, compressed L4-S1, hairlined T8, Dbl Break C6 spinous process, wrist, ankles, and tons of AC separations, I have worked with many. Pick your therapist wisely. I just recently dislocated my Lt Shoulder and have gone to 3 other therapist prior to Lauren at Bothell. The customer service alone makes me wanna come back. They're all so nice! And then the amount of patient care and intellect is fabulous. They know what they're doing! And they treat each person as they should! Going to Bothell Physical Therapy was one of the best decisions I've made. After ten years of running and fifteen years of taekwondo, one day I went out for a run and got intense knee pain in my right knee. It felt like someone was piercing me with a needle. I didn't have any injury, it was just very sudden. The pain also came while hiking downhill. It got to the point where even walking down the stairs hurt, or sitting too long in a car or at work would agitate my knees. It was very frustrating. I thought I'd never be outdoorsy again. I picked Bothell Physical Therapy because they were close to me and had good reviews. Andrea was great, she ran all these tests and found many issues with me: weak glutes, flat feet, one long one short leg, the list goes on. I'm not an easy patient. But Andrea still had high hopes for me. The first goal was to run a mile in one month. At this point, it had been over a year since the pain started. I didn't believe I'd be running a mile in only a month. But after glutes strengthening, foam rolling, and shoe insert modifications, in a month I was running a mile and I couldn't believe it. I continued going to PT for over a year, running a 10K a year later, doing taekwondo without ankle braces, did a 5-day trek in Peru, and now I'm in a mountaineering class. I really couldn't have done this without BPT. The staff is great, really knowledgeable. You'll get 1:1 attention the entire appointment, and a regular checkup with Andrea. They make the session fun while also challenging, so you're getting in a good workout. I would have kept going but eventually my insurance cut me off. Getting my knee back in order was life changing. I can now do everything I could do in my mid 20's, if not more, and I feel great! I still have to keep up with my exercises and stretching at home, otherwise the pain will start to come back. But now I know what I need to do on my own and can manage it myself. Highly recommend this place!! read more

She's organized and kind, and always has a smile for you. Andrea, is fantastically talented. Even though I went to see her about my hurt hip, the discussion evolved into many postural issues I had. What an amazing team of truly caring therapists in this office!! I am a local Chiropractor and I started sending my patients to Bothell PT during the healing or "corrective" phase of their care. Andrea and Lauren are "hands on" healers and very thorough during the evaluations of each of their patients. Best office I have been too! A lot of providers care about only fixing you. Jenn is my therapist and truly cares about people not just the injury. I had a scare in the office a little over a week ago and she took the time to call and talk to the specialist office/nurse to make sure information was relayed correctly. She has called to check on me a few times, waiting for the approval from the specialist that all is good to start again. She is truly concerned, I also see Jeremy which he is great too! Totally recommend this office. My daughter will hopefully start seeing them once her insurance approves to follow up on knee and ankle pain due to an older injury. read more

This review has been a long time coming. I can't recommend Bothell Physical Therapy enough. After I had a baby, I had a personal goal of running a half marathon. I started my training but encountered some pretty severe hip pain. I ended up at Bothell Physical Therapy and they were able to do amazing things. With their help and training eventually the hip pain went away and I was able to successfully run my half marathon. I remember one day in particular, I was very discouraged and ready to give up but they talked me off the ledge and helped me believe in myself. Andrea Schaefer is an awesome Physical Therapist, she helped me rehabilitate through 2 consecutive injuries .She is kind, compassionate, supportive, as well as an attentive and active listener.
