At the age of 27, I was diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD) in my lower back. Since then, my journey has been a challenging one, marked by three major surgeries, dozens of physical therapy sessions at various clinics, chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, and many medications. In July 2024, I experienced a severe flare-up, leaving me unable to walk. My orthopedic surgeon couldn't pinpoint the root cause and suggested another fusion surgery on top of high doses of steroids and pain medication. Review I never write reviews but I feel so compelled to do so for the new mom who needs a safe space. I had my 4th baby in August of 2024. The day after delivery I went to the emergency room with a grade 4 uterine prolapse. They assessed me and told me to see a pelvic floor specialist but as far as they could tell my cervix was where it should be and I was discharged. Upon release I booked an appointment with Lilly Physical Therapy to get assessed and some answers as to what had happened. Turns out I had more issues going on than I realized. I came in with grade 2 urethrocele, grade 2++ cystocele and grade 2 rectocele. I then spent the next 6 weeks/twice a week in PT. Although I have gained strength, grade reversal and a deeper understanding of my body and how to heal- that is not the point of this review. The point of this review is I truly believe the people working here are salt of the earth. I have brought my newborn baby to all of my appointments the last month and during postpartum that can be challenging. You are trying to heal, while also trying to care for your baby. Every appointment they work around him. I feed him while they treat whatever part of the body that allows, they hold him while I do exercises, they rock him to sleep so I can do red light therapy. Every person that works there has been a village and rallies around my baby and me the second I walk through the door. (Attached is an image of my baby, rocked to sleep by Lilly herself in a blanket she got for him while I had an appointment with a different therapist). I never asked for any of this, this just is who they are to their core, they are all deeply caring and genuinely kind people. Dr. Lilly and literally every single person that works there are absolute delightful human beings and they know their stuff. I experienced sciatica for the first time in my life and I swear, giving birth was so much easier. The pain was unlike anything I'd experienced and I felt crazy by day 3. I walked into Lilly PT thinking it was a long shot (but I was desperate) and they saw me immediately. I was absolutely floored. Lilly took care of me and got me some relief right away. She came up with a plan and sure enough, by week 7, I was so much more improved. I am so happy I decided to walk in that day! The facility is gorgeous and is just such a nice space to be in. I went to see dr Lilly for lower back pain and diastasis recti. I have gotten stronger and learned a lot, and although I haven't completely eliminated my back pain, I did make significant progress. Happy to report, my diastasis is back to normal. Dr Lilly is a straightforward, passionate lady. You are expected to communicate clearly and state your concerns/worries, as that is the only way to make actual progress. Although Lilly isn't a functional medicine doctor, she does her best to bring a holistic approach into her practice. To me, that was a plus. As for her staff, I only have great things to say: I mostly worked with Catherine, the kinesiologist. She is on top of things - always ready, prepared, and with a good attitude. The downside is they don't accept my insurance. To be fair, none of the small, private clinics do (UHC). Bummer. All in all, a good experience. The team at Lilly at physical therapy was able to identify a pelvic issue that had caused me pain for years, which other doctors and therapists had purely blamed on being female or weight (even though I was 5' 6" in a size 10, and lifting when it started). The team has since helped put things back in alignment and begin strengthening all the muscles that are severely underworked while helping the overworked ones get a break. read more

*Update in response* The word "poor" was never used - I wrote that to summarize what was said to me, when in reality much harsher words were used to describe my condition. I can understand "Your leg strength is at a level 1, which is considered poor on a scale of 1-5" but instead qualitative judgements were made and often it was not clear what my numerical values of assessment were. "I want to reassure you that I never doubt the efforts of my patients. I acknowledge that each person's journey with pelvic floor issues is unique, and I am here to provide unwavering support and guidance every step of the way." - Unfortunately this was not my experience. When I was not progressing according to the timeline Dr. Lilly deemed appropriate, instead of being understanding that I was healing more slowly, she actually did question me about my effort and sternly told me to do more. When I answered her questions she did not say a word. It was very distressing and I did not feel it was appropriate in any way. I simply needed encouragement - numerous research studies show that shame is never a good motivator but positive reinforcement absolutely is. I understand Dr. Lilly takes pride in her work and cutting-edge techniques, but taking into account patients' emotional well-being is equally as important. Thank you for your time. read more

Dr Lily and her physical therapy staff are fantastic. I specifically went for pelvic floor issues, bladder incontinence and endometriosis. The holistic approach of the team has helped me manage my pain and I've gotten my normal bladder back!!! Go for a consult and see how they can help you. I'm fairly close to the end of pregnancy and I had been experiencing a significant amount of physical discomfort. To the point where getting up from sitting I was hunched over and couldn't fully stand without pelvic pain. Putting on pants had even become difficult. I'd tried belts, support pillows at night, and still wasn't receiving any relief. I thought I was supposed to be uncomfortable in pregnancy and probably delayed treating this sooner due to that idea. All this to say I wish I had found Lily sooner! The treatment I was recommended was reasonable with my high working hours and I was seeing improvements in my pain and discomfort after the first visit. I liked that the billing was upfront and it wasn't something I had to think of every time I went in. The exercises given were accomplishable and I am no longer walking around like a cowboy even as I continue to grow. I was referred to Lilly's PT by a dear friend that knew I was in tremendous pain. I started PT sessions the first week of January 2021. They've helped me with some longer term shoulder mobility and pain issues with physical therapy, massage therapy, laser light therapy, and medical exercise, as well as educating me about my specific issues and how I can help fix them with at home exercises and stretches. Absolutely top notch! I walked in there with extreme numbness in my left leg, to the point where I couldn't sit for more than a few minutes without getting numb. Couldn't get through a full night without waking up. Pretty ruthless numbness overall. Lilly recommenced 12 sessions, and I can honestly say that I went from crazy-in-pain to pain-free after my 10th session. Everyone there is incredible: super friendly, very knowledgeable, and you can tell they all really care about your recovery. They have every piece of equipment you can think of, and they don't book more than 1 or 2 patients at a time, so you feel very attended to, each and every time. Thank you Lilly PT! I was in a car accident in May and started physical therapy mid June after fractures had healed enough and I could safely work on mobility. Ok, so yes I searched for PT options close to home and they were 1st on the list so I won't lie, being in the neighborhood made a difference(supporting local businesses is important and so is convenience - though they would be worth a commute). But it took more than that...I read all the reviews and though still a bit skeptical about the whole thing - how would PT help my fractured ribs and sternum??? - I called to check them out. Honest impression...they were SOOOOOO nice on the phone (Stevie and Miranda) that I was skeptical...really, no one could be THAT nice (I used to work in the medical field and have dealt with loads of dr offices that didn't understand "nice"). Reality is that every single person, from Dr. Lilly, Dr. Sabrina, the Physical Therapy Aides Jamie, David and Sandra to Stevie, Miranda and Dina are truly and genuinely warm and kind people who care deeply about their patients success. (Jamie is also and amazing Massage Therapist!) We planned for 6 weeks of PT but they worked so closely with me I was done in 4. And as another reviewer said, I felt like I graduated and would miss my favorite classmates! *Luckily I still have a few massages to go so Have a few more weeks to see them all. I knew I had to get help but all the other PTs I saw said.. whelp this distasis rectis is just what you get for having a 10 lb baby at 42. I've had a plethora of injuries in my life and have had back surgery, three knee surgeries, two shoulder surgeries and one breast reduction. When I started at Lilly Physical therapy I could walk about 1/2 a block. Three months later I hiked 8 miles and 1,200 feet vertically at Glacier National Park (aka at altitude and we live at sea level). The day after the hike I was functional. I've spent the last few years in pain and afraid I'd never be able to do these things and all of a sudden I'm functioning. It's not healed and don't mistake things these ladies are TOUGH. Their exercises will kick your hiney but it's worth it. They're super expensive so plan accordingly but remember you're worth healing and the body can heal. read more

I have had shoulder issues most of my adult life. After a recent one that was keeping me up at night I was referred to Lilly PT. Lilly was able to diagnose the problem right away and created a program to solve it. After just 6 weeks of amazing physical and manual work from Lilly and her experienced therapists Sondra and Kathryn I am now able to fully use my shoulder and have the tools to continue to strengthen and maintain. I will keep my relationship with them as a part of their membership program as there are other areas that I need to strengthen. I went to Lilly PT with "lasts" in mind. I might have run, jumped, or sat on the floor comfortably for the last time in this body. After 6 weeks of 2x a week and lots of exercises at home, I am pretty amazed at how things changed. As an athlete I had figured maybe the body was done and I had accepted that. Now I am finding new curiosity around what is possible. I can run again, jump again, sit on the floor again, and practice Chinese martial arts again. I can't thank Lilly PT enough. I can't say enough positive things about Lilly Physical Therapy. I've been a patient there since July 2020. I have multiple issues including four total joint replacements and scoliosis. Dr. Lilly and her physical therapists Kathryn and Sondra are amazing. They coordinate care and work together so that each time I arrive, they have a plan ready for my session. From the moment I walk in the door, I'm greeted by name with smiles and a feeling of warmth. The staff is knowledgeable and professional while being caring and fun at the same time. Your time there is yours only - they do not run from patient to patient. If a particular treatment is not effective, no problem. Dr. Lilly and her staff will try another method. A plan for home exercises is developed which patients are expected to follow. They provide nutritional guidance as well, which enhances all systems in the body. I have gained strength and balance while working with these therapists and look forward to continuing my work with them. I have been to Lilly physical therapy three times for a neck and shoulder condition that I have suffered from for 15 years. I had lost most range of motion in my neck and I have been in a lot of pain. After three visits I was able to enjoy a wonderful trip to Paris and was able to walk and enjoy myself. Disappointed. I've had PT before and wanted to support the local community so tried Lilly PT after seeing positive Yelp reviews. I wasted several visits. Do these exercises and then let's do some cold laser treatments for the pain (oh, your insurance doesn't cover cold laser so that will be $$$ out of pocket). No actual measurement of mobility; just lift your arm....hmmm....Agree that the staff is friendly but I'm skeptical of their methods. My sessions at Lilly PT lasted maybe 40 minutes max compared with a full hour at my new therapist. read more

I came to Lilly PT with an injury that I had suffered through for 6 months. I had been treating it myself thinking it would go away, and was desperate for relief. Immediately Dr. Lilly explained where my injury actually was (not where I thought!), and that I was experiencing deferred pain. She educated me on next steps and after our first session together my pain was reduced significantly. Within 3 sessions my pain was gone. Following back surgery, I had the task of finding a physical therapist. I had been to many physical therapists in the past but wanted to find someone new and close to home. I found Lilly Physical Therapy and will never go any place else!! Dr. Lilly is wonderful and very hands on. Her staff is amazingly friendly, always offering coffee, tea or water as soon as you walk in. The clinic is very bright, new and clean. I have never been someone who enjoys physical therapy (does anyone?), but I actually enjoy going to Lilly PT. The sound of laughter from Dr. Lilly and staff brightens my day. I am in the medical field and truly appreciate the kindness and care I receive here. It is now months later than my first review and I am happy to report I have finished my therapy. I am also sad to report I will miss my new family at Lilly PT. While there, Dr. Lilly hired a new physical therapist, Dr. Sabrina, who is a wonderful addition to the team. turned around one day and twisted my knee and heard a terrible pop about 6 1/2 weeks ago. I chalked it up to old age, went home, took some Advil and put some ice on it. (Like most of us do) I really thought I'd be fine. Well I wasn't. 3 days later it was still hurting. I work for another PT company. So I was told to go downstairs and get some PT. I did that twice a week for three and a half weeks with no improvement. The more I walked around on it the more painful it became. One weekend I had to visit an urgent care and the ER. That next Monday I saw my PCP. That Wednesday I had an MRI and that Thursday I saw an orthopedic surgeon. I have a small tear in my meniscus, bone spurs, a slightly torn LCL and a dislocated patella (knee cap) Fun times right? The more I was on it, the worse it was getting. I was told I could do surgery or get some intense and hands on therapy. It was becoming harder and harder to find excellent patient care. ( I have worked in healthcare for 25 years. This was very disheartening ). Then one night I walked into Lilly physical therapy. I can honestly tell you it has been years since I have walked into a facility where they are so kind, sincere and so eager to help you feel better and comfortable. I was really speechless. Not only were they inviting, empathetic and professional, but they were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They are so genuine and this was very reassuring. I have no appointment I just walked in. That evening we took care of all my paperwork all my set up everything that needed to be done and they made an appointment for me the next day. Lilly is so smart. Kind. Approachable and real. She spent an hour with me. Examining, educating and treating me. I was so moved. We laughed and shared stories. All the while she was teaching me how to be aware of my movements and telling me step by step what she was doing. I also really loved the fact that they engage with you and hold you accountable. I got a hug as I left the clinic. I was able to walk out WITHOUT MY BRACE ON!! I sat on my couch tonight, on my side with half the pain I had before. Oh and they do massage, pilates and so much more. I'm so blessed to have found Lilly. If you want real whole health care and to be treated to your specific needs, you must come to Lilly! Dr. Lilly is simply a God's send to me. I had very bad hip and back pain for one year. I tried many physical therapists and chiropractors but none of them worked until I met Dr. Lilly - with one session I felt 50 percent better! Stop reading about other Physical Therapy places! You have found the place you need to go to! I suffered a work-related injury to my back--torn muscles and connective tissue. After a total of 24 visits to a different Physical Therapy place I emerged with somewhat diminished (but still significant) pain and a hunched back. I was convinced that was what the rest of my life looked like. My wife was seeing Dr. Lilly at the time and Dr. Lilly thought she could help me. She gave me an introductory session (at a reduced price!) After that session I discovered that I had been misdiagnosed by my first physical therapy place. I had apparently been treated for my symptomes, not the cause. Dr. Lilly correctly identified the cause & after that, I began to improve. After that 1 session I was pain-free for 3 days!! I got the o.k. for an additional 12 sessions with Dr. Lilly. Midway thru that I began to be completely pain free. Another reason to choose Dr. Lilly for your Physical Therapy is that she has additional healing technologies (not just exercises) that I have not seen at other Physical Therapy offices. For example, Dr. Lilly has a type of magnetic therapy that my back just absolutely loved!! She also has cold laser treatments available (don't be scared they don't hurt and they really help!) The lasers focus healing energy into your body, where it's needed. So you heal more rapidly and more completely. All of the staff at Dr. Lilly's are first rate and very welcoming and supportive of you during your recovery. Kathryn, the physical therapy aide is just wonderful. She will push you to your limit (whatever it may be) and then, when you're ready for more, she will show you how to be stronger. If you're ever lucky enough to get one of Kathryn's massages you'll be so glad you chose Dr. Lilly's. Kathryn is very skilled at trigger release massage--after one of her massages you'll be feeling so much better. Dr. Lilly's also offers "package deals" to save you money and, in addition, there are flexible payment plans available. Need another reason? Dr. Lilly collects surveys from her clients on "best doctors and therapeutic associates in the area." Should you need additional help outside of physical therapy in your healing, Dr. Lilly has an "A-list" of other skilled people in the area. For example, my wife and I found a skilled counselor for stress issues and a great naturopathic doctor thanks to Dr. Lilly's help. If you are in pain or need physical therapy, I urge you to contact Dr. Lilly's office. Don't be misdiagnosed at another location that treats only your symptoms and not the cause of your problems! Dr. Lilly has a wonderful sense of humor and an upbeat, motivating and genuinely caring attitude with her clients. I started seeing Lilly at a giant corporate hospital that accepts my crappy Medicaid insurance. She quickly became my favorite healthcare provider of all time (and I've had MANY). She was so good at remembering the details from week to week, not only about my health but about my life. In addition to her mad technical skills, her warm and calming presence is rather soothing. I know that's vague but you just have to meet her and see for yourself. Eventually I started seeing Lilly at her private practice, knowing my insurance wouldn't cover it, but she and I were able to work out a deal I can afford. She is always willing to go the extra mile to research alternative treatments on her own time and take the time to discuss them with you thoroughly. She cares more about making you well than about making herself wealthy. I've had a lot of health problems for a long time and on our first visit Lilly diagnosed me with tight pelvic floor muscles after hooking me up to a biofeedback machine. Turns out most of my health problems may well be caused or aggravated by a tight pelvic floor. I have seen substantial improvement in my pelvic floor issues since Lilly started treating me! Great place! Dr. Lilly and her team are currently helping my husband with therapy for his broken arm. He has been in such bad pain and it is so great that he is finding some relief with his therapy.
