22 yrs ago I was in a horse accident that left me with TMJ. My jaw would pop and snap every time I ate something hard (carrots, candy bars) or opened my jaw wide to eat an apple. It also got really sore with chewing meat that I was cutting my meat into tiny pieces even then it would still get sore. Over time I found myself drinking my calories vs eating them. Though the years I saw 8 surgeons that all wanted to break my jaw and even the roof of my mouth. Not wanting to go through a year of recovery I kept holding off knowing that there was something better out there then surgery. In October 2016 I got sick and my jaw popped sending shooting pain down my right lower jaw. I finally said enough and received PT through Lilly PT in Edmonds by Dr. Lilly Bojic and Dr. Sabrina Wayt. My cervical range of motion improved, symptoms went away most days and most importantly I could chew my food without my jaw getting sore. While they put me on the right track I still didn't feel I was 100% to go back to eating hard foods. Just before I finished physical therapy Sabrina recommend an Arc for Life pillow and sleeping on my back. Hesitated my spending that much on a pillow I put it off for a week. When I finally got my new pillow my neck popped within five minutes releasing the tension on my left side. While at times the pillow feels uncomfortable I've stick with it especially since my neck and jaw felt better when I woke up. I still can't sleep on my back. A month ago walking my jaw popped and I end up biting my inner cheek. Since then I feel like I'm 100% with no pain or soreness at my TMJ even to touch. Took me some time to write this review as I wanted to wait after I had my baby. Last year, during the early stages of my pregnancy, I was in significant pain due to arthritis, which I had been managing for over 13 years. Seeking relief, I visited Lilly's Physical Therapy. The therapist explained the severity of my pain and warned that without treatment, I might face complications during birth. This struck me as odd, considering that the body naturally prepares for birth over time. The therapist's approach primarily involved using hot stones on my arthritic areas. As anyone with arthritis, especially in the SI joints, knows, massaging is generally ineffective for this condition. Let's not forget there were No x-rays for her to diagnose from. The treatment provided little to no relief and actually put me in more pain, and after receiving a quote exceeding $2000, I decided to seek a second opinion. I visited another physical therapist who effectively addressed my pain almost immediately. My overall experience at Lilly's Physical Therapy was disappointing. I found the therapist's handling of SI joint arthritis to be inadequate, and her dire predictions about birth complications were unsubstantiated. Months later, I gave birth without any complications. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Lilly's Physical Therapy for those dealing with arthritis, particularly in the SI joints. read more

I recently had knee surgery to repair a partially torn meniscus and was absolutely dreading the physical therapy that I knew I had to undergo as part of my recovery. I've had a couple of really bad experiences in the past couple of years and with local physical therapists from recommendations from people I trust so this time I decided to find one on my own. I have to say that finding Dr. Lilly and her team was like hitting the jackpot. Literally, everyone on the team makes you feel welcome and part of the family. From the very beginning, Dr. Lilly impressed me with every treatment I underwent and her staff never pushed me to do more than I was capable of at the time. What astounded me is that what I thought was going to be months and months of treatments, as I've been through before, was over before I realized it. My total recovery from the first treatment to the last was a little less than a month. Truly amazing. A special shout out to Troy for his encouragement and guidance and to Dr. Lilly for exposing me to treatments that I had never had before but proved to be exceptionally effective. A rotator cuff impingement diagnosis led to an orthopedist handing me a list of physical therapists in my area, with little recommendation given of any which one. But, I will never forget him saying, "I've heard Lilly Phyiscal Therapy is pretty good." So, of course that is where I called first. All I can tell you all is that from the moment they answered the phone, I felt valued and cared for, that my journey towards recovery would be supported with encouragement and individualized care that fit into my very busy life, and that I would be able to fix my problem. Honesty was shared right away with the duration of treatment for optimal results, costs and insurance coverage which often I have to look into myself, and insight into how cutting edge treatment would improve my injury. 12 visits later, I am stronger in mind and body...both of which I couldn't have been without the entire staff of Lilly PT. I paid a visit to Lilly PT after suffering a knee injury. Immediately upon walking into the clinic, I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. I met with Dr. Lilly, who after some strength and flexibility tests, determined that I did not have any bone breaks or ligament tears (yay!). She then walked me through some exercises that I could do at home that would help reduce my swelling/bruising and bring back the full range of motion in my knee. Finally, she used some Kinesio tape to tape my knee and lower leg (while teaching me how to do it myself). This helped reduce my pain immensely, as well as allowing me to walk with much less of a limp. After 3 weeks of following my prescribed exercise plan, I'm very happy to say that I am 100% healed! I cannot recommend Lilly PT enough. Lilly and her staff's warm attentiveness, attention to detail, and vast amount of healing knowledge/wisdom are unmatched. Lilly PT was a place I found online for my knee therapy. Since the beginning of my therapy all of the staff has been welcoming and helpful. I actually created a yelp account just so I could write a great review for Lilly's and share my experience. Taylor at the front desk always has a great attitude and makes scheduling appointments effortless. Working with Troy has been a pleasure and honestly he is the reason I decided to continue therapy at Lilly's after my 12 weeks was complete. During my 12 weeks he and Sabrina provided genuine care for me that reassured me I absolutely made the right choice with Lilly's. When those two were not available, both Catherine and Sandra were awesome and up to date with where I was in my therapy. I have to give another shout out to Troy for being very supportive and taking time to come up with a great regiment to help me reach my goal of getting back to sports. I'm the person who do not write reviews online so often, but I feel that anyone who suffer from chronic pain for so long should know about this place. I visited Lilly Physical Therapy Clinic in Edmonds with a great pain in my hip and I had a long lasting back pain. I went to chiropractic and I had massages several times before, but didn't take me far. I wore the belt with magnets to easy my pain on every day basics. Nothing really helped in long run until my visit to Dr. Lilly. It was obvious that she has a tremendous skill and expertise. My severe hip pain was gone after just one visit! She took the time to go through my history and she explained exactly what was wrong and why the massages didn't helped before. When I forget to exercise between the visits, she gave me to wear a bracelet as a reminder :)! After a few treatments with Dr. Lilly, I went to see Kelly for the massages. Lilly Physical Therapy is an outstanding place for getting the treatment you need caused by injuries due to car accidents, sports, etc. The Leadership under Dr. Lilly is phenomenal and their therapist are incredible people with a caring heart. They focus on the real core of the issue/injuries and as a patient, I can attest to their ability to work with each individual patient to create a plan that makes a difference. I had a horrible car accident and I was to the point where the pain was really dragging me down, impacting my ability to enjoy life. But, Katherine and Sondra got right to the root of the issue and developed a program to enable me to at least get most of my range of motion and lower the pain. They are just really terrific people with a caring heart for patients and a delightful personality to make you feel even better. I contacted Lilly because of a pinched nerve in my leg that wasn't going away. From my first contact I was greeted with a helpful, and friendly attitude. I want to say right off that everyone at Lilly Physical Therapy has been super nice, caring, and helpful. The whole staff is a reflection of Lilly's attitude. The therapy aside what struck me initially is Lilly's passion that she could help me not only with the pinched nerve, but the chronic back issues that I've been told to live with for over 30 years! No surgery, no pills, just a true belief that with proper exercises and stretching she could help. She asked me to trust her, and her staff. I was referred to Lilly Physical Therapy by my primary physician. This was my first experience with physical therapy. I had a pain in my hip that seemed to be gradually worsening over a year or more. I had tried chiropractic and massage a year before, which helped a little, but in a year's time the pain had come back and was getting worse gradually. On my first visit I was floored, when within minutes, Lilly had diagnosed the problem with my having uneven leg lengths, gave me a short treatment plan and preventive plan to compensate my leg length differences. No one in decades had figured this out, not even a foot doctor when fitted for orthotics years ago! After 6 visits my pain has been reduced by about 75% and my mobility has been fully restored. The first time I came into Lilly Physical Therapy was after fracturing my right heel after falling from a ladder. I came in with crutches and not able to put any weight on my heel. I was unable to do most things, including driving. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful at the front desk, alleviating all financial concerns from the very first day. Dr. Sabrina is extremely knowledgeable and fun to work with. Jamie, the massage therapist listens to your needs and truly delivers. All of the aides are very encouraging and supportive from beginning to end. They brought me out of my comfort zone in every session but in the end I walked out pain free and back to doing things I love. My last day in therapy was a huge celebration with everyone. Is it weird that going to PT has become fun, and feels like visiting with longtime friends? From the moment you walk through the door at Lilly PT you are greeted with kindness, authenticity, and confidence that you will get better. I am finally feeling relief after two babies and living with pain for over 10 years. I've never had a PT or orthopedic doctor be able to identify the root of my pain - and so quickly - until Dr. Lilly. She found that my pelvis was out of alignment and was causing chronic back, hip and foot pain. Three weeks into my six-week treatment plan, I feel my body is finally healing from years of pain and I know that I will get my active lifestyle back. It's remarkable! I have had Physical Therapy in the past, but this experience was so much different! I went to Lilly PT for my ankle and was originally prescribed 12 visits. Dr. Sabrina got me feeling better much faster than that! She is very knowledgeable in Physical Therapy and you can tell how much she truly cares about her patients. Dr. Lilly has created an amazing environment that I enjoyed coming to, despite the painful situation I was in. I had severe shoulder pains a couple of months ago, that was when my niece recommended Lilly PT. I was skeptical in the beginning, so I thought maybe I would give them a try. I had nothing to lose but the pain that has been unbearable at times. First thing I noticed when I first walked in was the friendliness of the staff. The therapists were so professional and they were all ears as they listened to what was ailing me. I originally went to Lilly PT for a pulled hamstring. Dr. Lilly and her amazing staff not only got rid of the pain in my hamstring but determined the root cause. They show me the correct exercises for my condition and work with my MS. With the correct therapy my pain has decreased and my balance has improved. Not only is Dr. Lilly well educated and trained so is her staff. After every visit I am seeing long term results. The front desk staff is friendly and efficient. Everyone at Lilly Physical Therapy is wonderful! I went to see Dr. Lilly after being told I needed surgery for a ruptured disc. Dr. Lilly was so welcoming and caring. She asked questions, listened, and really took her time. She genuinely is in the business of helping people! She did some treatments, and gave me a plan to start recovery. I left walking better than when I got there! She has since reached out and checked on me and my progress, and I am convinced I will heal completely. I have been dealing with a shoulder issue for a little more than a year now. It started getting to the point that i could feel it getting worse by the day. I finally went the doctor and it was recommended I try physical therapy. I saw some good reviews for Lilly Physical Therapy and gave them a call. Glad I did. Dr. Lilly is very knowledgeable and very good at what she does. Her staff are very friendly and I felt welcome as soon as walked in the door.
