An absolute godsend. I've had intermittent (yet semi chronic) neck issues for a couple of years and Zach was so helpful in giving me the proper tools to work that out. I haven't had much, if any, neck issues since then. And even if I get some flare ups, I feel confident to resolve that with the exercises he's given me, and it resolves within a week (usually less). I recently started having really bad lower back pain for about the last 1-2 months and I finally made an appt to see him today. Zach gave me such an informative rundown on the root issues and the assessment was spot-on to my bad [posture] habits. I had been suffering from what I now know to be Gluteal Tendinopathy for over a year prior to meeting Zach. He is easy to work with and does a great job explaining what you, the patient, need to know. Finding a good chiropractor is oddly difficult. Most of the time, you find someone who approaches patients like parts on an assembly line. Crack, crack, done in 5 minutes. Dr. Greenwade is one of the (rare) good ones. He is friendly and personable. He asks at every appointment how you're feeling and what you need to tackle. He uses a combination of chiropractic adjustments and soft tissue manipulation to work out issues. And if I ever need to schedule / re-schedule, he is always very email responsive. Bonus? I came to see Dr. Greenwade after terrible low back spasms that led to a two day hospitalization. The spasms were caused by chronic fatigue after covid, on top of an L5-S1 bulging disc causing increased pain in my lower back area. After 3 weeks of being too terrified to move, I read his reviews and decided I needed a second opinion for PT in order to recover. Due to mid-severe muscle weakness, I was afraid to resume an exercise plan on my own. Dr. G was very accommodating since I had a great deal of anxiety and limited range of movement. After first visit, I had more mobility in my torso, and more confidence that I could recover. My need for pain medication decreased after a day, and hopefully I can get back to driving soon! I've been following a holistic healing approach at home with natural anti-inflammatories as well as prescribed medications to heal the area. (No injections!) Zach has been helping me with some shoulder damage I did, as a result of falling down the stairs in my house (recommend NOT running in the house)! Years of abuse and bodily neglect also helped me put my back out, while picking something up off the floor. I hurt my back carrying a bunch of flooring, and in the next day had pain and very strong spasms in the lower back muscles, I could not even put my shoes on while sitting! I've been seeing Zach for a while now and he's been wonderful in helping me with multiple issues. I've seen him about carpal tunnel and some hamstring issues and both of them have improved greatly. What I really appreciate about Zach is that he isn't pushy or sales-y. He's not pushing any package like other chiros out there. In terms of the treatment I really like that he focuses on strength training in addition to just adjustments. I really feel like he's giving me the tools to be able to self manage my issues and keep them from coming back. The exercises he's taught me have been really handy. Fantastic! Dr. Greenwade has been really helpful to my family. My teenage son started developing back pain after doing a lot of bending and lifting as part of a job working as a ranch hand. His pain was starting to get to a debilitating level, so I looked for a chiropractor who might be able to help. After seeing the many, many positive reviews for Dr. Greenwade on Yelp, and seeing that his practice was close to home, I contacted him. He was able to see my son quickly, for which we were very grateful. Dr. Greenwade is personable, friendly, and compassionate. He discerned my son's issues right away, and also diagnosed a mild scoliosis that would have otherwise been missed. After the initial adjustment, my son said the difference he felt in his back was "night-to-day better", and his pain immediately dissipated. I also started seeing Dr. Greenwade, as I got into a bad postural habit while working remotely during the pandemic and was having issues with my hip and knee feeling out of alignment. Zach helped me with a frozen shoulder issue that was causing me significant discomfort and pain with a corresponding hit to my activity level. He was thoughtful and honest in his assessment and made it clear that treatment could take a while and would require a fair bit of commitment. Beware. He may not be a medically trained doctor. Went for frozen shoulder and was asked to lift weights which aggravated the pain. After researching and consulting two other medical doctors I realized that they were exactly the opposite (i.e. wrong) exercises for the condition. Also a case of wrongful billing. Went in twice for shoulder pain and was instructed on couple of strengthening exercises. However was billed $380+ for just the first visit and that too for spine related procedures (not for shoulder). Demanded explanation and medical codes (it's our right as patients). Dr. Greenwade is AMAZING! Our sessions have been very helpful and I always leave feeling great! I started having neck/muscle issues from long flights and golfing. I started seeing Zach because of pain in my right arm and wrist that I couldn't get resolved. I was a little leery of seeing him at first because I have gone to therapists and chiropractors who were good at relieving the symptoms for a short time, but never solving the problem. Zach is the best physical therapist/chiropractor I have been to, and I can explain why. I came to Zach with over 10 years of knee and ankle pain that I had always been told (and believed) were a result of misalignment while walking and exercising. I ended up not exercising for close to 6 years because of the pain my previous physical therapists couldn't help prevent and recently decided that I had to get back in shape. I have been lifting again and now am getting into high enough weights that the pain came back full force. I knew I needed to get ahead of it this time and needed someone who could help me with long term goals so I never stopped working out again. In comes Zach. Walking into the back room I instantly knew he would be different than the other physical therapists I have gone to. He has a full power rack that was rigged for squats, a ton of kettlebells, and other true workout tools. In my past they have always told me to "take it easy" and that if I was going to lift, to stay away from a bunch of stuff. Instead of giving me a schpeal about "misalignment" and "going lighter" on weights to reduce the force on my knee joint, he told me we would be doing squats/deadlifts/ low body exercises with and without weight. Wow, what a breath of fresh air it was to hear that! I have seen Zach for almost a month now and have learned so much about how the information I was being told about how to lessen my pain was the opposite of what I needed to do. He has me doing squats every time (2x a week) and has taught me that when it comes to form, being rigid and trying to follow someone else's idea of 'correct' was not good for my knees. Ever since then, I have been able to continue lifting (which is my preferred type of workout) with absolutely no knee pain the next day. He is always asking me how I feel and never asks me to do more than I am comfortable with. Zach's goal for me - that he is constantly reminding me of- is to be done within 6 weeks from the start with the tools and know how to continue doing the workouts I love without needing to come back to him. Although that is an amazing idea (and one that I am now sure will happen) it will be sad not seeing Zach anymore. He is so nice and capable at communicating the purpose behind the exercises he is asking you to do. and not to mention the fact that he is great at adjustments as well. I have recommended Zach to pretty much everyone I know who might need a physical therapist in the future. Do yourself a favor and give him a shot. Zach is great! I came to this place for chronic back pain that has been getting worse for the past two years, but it has entirely or mostly faded away after my three visits here. I used to take daily ibuprofen and worry about not being able to go on long hikes or bike rides, but no longer. I never went to a chiropractor before, so I was skeptical if it would help. I thought it would mostly be adjustments. But, Zach is good at listening what you want with the appointment and deciding the best treatment for you. The knowledge and exercises shared have actually been more helpful than the adjustments, so I won't need to come back here. Zach explained good posture and adjusting to having a variety, doing a good mixture of sitting and standing while working at my desk job, how to properly do each of the common exercises (I like to follow P90X and Insanity videos), and to make sure I don't over exert myself when hiking, biking, or exercising. Furthermore, Zach encouraged me to do more planks, crunches, and situps to strengthen my back and that has worked! I recently went on a 65 mile bike ride on my road bike around Lake WA and didn't experience back pain. Cool! read more

Zach is by far and away the best Chiropractor I've ever had as well as the best health professional I have ever seen. He is not like other Chiropractors in that he hasn't once snapped my back or tried to charge me a full charge for 5 minutes of work. He'll sit with you and ask what you can and can't do. He'll immediately talk about what we can do to try and do the things that I can't normally do. Most of the time it is putting myself in situations that scare me (because of my pain) and learning to associate positive experiences with those scary situations. Zach has taught me a lot about what pain is and how varied it can be. I learned a lot about how pain is almost entirely mental and that by continuing improvement in the rest of your body your brain can handle more, hence less pain. I love the fact that Zach's practice is much more like a physical therapy session than a back-cracking chiropractor. I've come in twice over two years when my back gave out. The focus of the sessions was always about finding the root cause, finding out what exercises could I do to alleviate pain now, and what I should do to alleviate it in the future.
