Dr Lee was the only doctor who ever validated my herniated / torn disc in my L3 L4. She had been advocating for me to get ablation treatment done because I have not been able to bend over for over 3 and 1/2 years now I have numbness and burning shooting throbbing pains in my hands my arms radiating down for my neck where I have multiple bulging discs and canal stenosis and degenerative disc disease in my neck and back and I was diagnosed with cervical radiculopathy. And my lower lumbar area I currently have a torn / herniated disc in my L3 L4 lower back lumbar area. I also have multiple other bulging discs like I mentioned previously in my back and my next spines. I cannot bend over I cannot take care of my basic needs anymore I have become fully disabled and fully unable to work. Doctor Lee was the only person who ever took my treatment seriously and the only reason I had to stop seeing her was because my work for one didn't file my work injury claim properly, I work at the shipyard in Seattle as a longshoreman and marine machinist and marine heavy diesel mechanic working on all of the Washington State ferry boat machinist and mechanical repairs and all of the US Navy military warship destroyer projects department of Defense projects and contract jobs. My employer never filed my work injury claim at all and cut off my health insurance over a year ago. I haven't even been able to continue with the basic care that I need. Jennifer Lee has been nothing but awesome. After being with Washington Center for Pain Management for 2 years and dealing with being lied to and other very unprofessional and unethical practices, a friend referred me to her. Within just a few weeks I was scheduled for a trial SCS device. She had no problem with continuing the meds I was on and she has personally called me to see how I am doing. I am so grateful to have changed providers. The first 2 appointments averaged just over 40 minutes. She listens and explains what is going on and why. I highly recommend her! read more

I visited Dr Lee today to get my intercostal nerves injected. I had read the reviews and have to say I was nervous. I had been going to the same doctor for 7 years loved him unfortunately my insurance changed so I had to find someone else. What I experienced today was above and beyond my expectations. Dr Lee came and talked to me before procedure. Went over my other doctors notes and got all the information from them. Most doctors I have gone to like to do there own thing. She was great! Very sympathetic as I was a basket case! The procedure was very comfortable and I feel amazing I'm not sure why the less than glowing reports but I can tell you she is Amazing so excited to have her as my new doctor !! read more

She's arrogant, smug, rarely truly listens, she's an all around nightmare of a doctor with years worth of horrible reviews. It's truly disheartening to be treating with such suspicion and mistrust by a supposed medical professional, she also just forgets to deal with prescriptions or follow up issues and straight up doesn't write down things in your chart that you've discussed. I've had injections before, but Dr. Lee surpassed my expectations. Naturally I was in so much pain but, I never felt rushed or of less importance. Dr Jennifer Lee was my pain management specialist as I was undergoing multiple spinal surgeries to try and relieve pain in my left leg and back due to pinched nerves in my spine. After the surgeries were u successful, she suggested that I look into getting a Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) installed. She put it in and I saw nearly immediate relief from pain that had been dogging me for that past four years. This is transformative. Thank you. read more

I agree with Beth R. Dr. Lee's notes do not reflect what was talked about and she fails to even get any prescription sent to the pharmacist. This results in endless calls to people at Evergreen who have no chart notes to go by so I ended up with no prescription at all. I have seen Dr. Lee twice and I will never go back. From: first time ever writing a review. Because this truly deserves one since it has to do with peoples life's. Background: Victim of high speed MVA accident which caused everyone to be knocked out completely on impact for a long period of time. And some ejected. After being admitted to the hospital to stay for the injuries (which were non surgical broken bones all though out the body, foot, pelvis, major brain trauma, collar bone and many other) Being the kind of person I am and against opiate pain medications and prefer the natural route much more depending on the circumstances. However, with these extenuating circumstances I was left with no choice but these pain medications. Unless new to me are meant and designed for this kind of extreme situation. I completely DO NOT WANT THEM IN MY BODY UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NEEDED. Which in this case was. Evergreen hospital has always been my personal go to just because I actually really like it. The ER and nurses have been great in the past. And gained all my trust. I try to always stay with the same team and professionals. Unfortunately Evergreen has chose to employ what potentially could be one of the most arrogant, rude, incompetent professional (by title, I would never give her that respect) I have ever came across in a hospital setting. She never shows up during days she's expected. Which plain and simply will add up TO YOU to extra thousands of dollars. But she doesn't care.. Her notes never match what was discussed. Shes unorganized and honestly try's to attempt compiling your pain in her own version that makes no sense. So to sum things up. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone to even waist there time meeting her. This woman should be COMPLETELY REMOVED from practice it's disgusting. I wouldn't trust this woman if my life depended on it. She's a disgrace to the medical field of actual good nurses and professionals. From what I've noticed in the chain of command internally at evergreen for ANY pain medications all internal MD hospitalist are to defer not only pain management but even any pain medication to Jennifer Lee. So that is what you can expect... To: Evergreen. Your facility is beautiful clean and nice. Your RN's are great and so are most hospitalist. You've RUINED these qualities by choosing to contract a bad apple. Unfortunately because of her I will forcefully discharge and go elsewhere which is so unfortunate after how highly I once spoke about the treatment that was provided there and your team. I have been a long term patient. TERMINATING HER EMPLOYMENT WOULD BE THE BEST COURSE OF ACTION. IF..... YOU EVER PLAN TO CARRY YOUR REPUTATION. Dr. Lee became my pain management specialist while I was in the hospital for 32 days following a severe automobile accident. I had broken over 10 bones throughout my body, had unimaginable pain, and was bedridden for the first 3 weeks. Once placed under Dr Lee one week into my stay she immediately started taking my pain medications away.She told me that for my future self I needed to just suffer now and deal with the excruciating pain. She is supposed to be a pain management doctor.. one who helps someone manage their pain not tell them to suffer through it. I do understand that pain medications and being on them for extended periods can cause problems and withdrawals later down the road, but I believe that should be discussed between patient and doctor and then come up with the best plan for your individual needs. Having over 10 broken bones and not being able to move my needs required these pain medications. After being discharged from the hospital on minimum amount of pain meds and not being prepared for what day to day life would look like outside of the hospital, 3 days later I was right back admitted for unimaginable pain. Immediately upon admitting me they tried to make Dr. Lee my pain management specialist again. I sat in a room crying and screaming in pain for two days with no pain meds allowed because she had not had the time to come see me and decide what I needed as a patient. Therefore I couldn't have any pain medications. My fiancé finally fought hard to get in touch with the top people at this hospital and after a battle we had her removed as my doctor and FINALLY I was being treated for my pain. The new Ortho surgeon assigned to my case had a nerve blocker put into my pelvis which was a game changer and the turning point for my healing journey. This Ortho allowed me to have the medications I needed as well during the times I needed them (yes the withdrawals were rough) but I would not have made it through those times without those medications. Dr. Lee is rude, prudish, and does not listen or discuss things with her patients. She was mean and not helpful. I am truly disappointed in the hospital and the lack of care I received because of Dr. Lee. She made my already horrible experience 50x worse than it needed to be. I had to suffer a lot more than ever right to make a patient to go through or ok and very unnecessarily making someone suffer. I hope Evergreen Health gets their act together and release Dr Lee from their staff. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Lee for pain management for my osteoarthritis since June 2018. Each time I've seen her, she's screwed up my prescriptions in one way or another. After I see her, and I call with an issue or a question, it becomes apparent that her notes do not accurately reflect what we talked about. I don't think she listens to me. She decides on a course of action and is too arrogant to change that if it doesn't work for me. She quotes AMA and other guidelines to me rather than listening to what I need. Dr. Lee is amazing. I have chronic neck and shoulder pain. Dr. Lee was the first doctor to actually order an MRI and pinpoint the actual cause of my pain. It was a relief to have someone validate my issue instead of telling me to just live with it. She listened, asked the necessisary questions and came up with an option. luckily with my situation it worked. I still have pain but it is alot less. I really appreciate Dr. Lee and her medical knowledge. It is clear to me that she cares about her patients. We need more Doctors like Dr. Jennifer Lee. read more

I had cancer surgery in January. By June I was still in extreme pain from the surgery and the chest tubes and was referred to Jennifer Lee. She said she would do a nerve block and would have to get the xrays from UW hopstial first. After 5 weeks I called and found out they still had not received them nor had they called to follow up. I told them I need pain meds until they could do the nerve block and they said I had to come in first. I told them I had already come in and she had already seen me and made a diagnosis and she should just write a small Rx until I got the nerve block; afterall it had been five weeks and they still had not received (nor followed up ) on getting the x- rays. I told them that if I have to trust her then she has to trust me (besides she could easily get a full record of the pain meds I had taken for my cancer) but they refused to give me pain meds unless I came in.
