And my lower lumbar area I currently have a torn / herniated disc in my L3 L4 lower back lumbar area. I also have multiple other bulging discs like I mentioned previously in my back and my next spines. I cannot bend over I cannot take care of my basic needs anymore I have become fully disabled and fully unable to work. Doctor Lee was the only person who ever took my treatment seriously and the only reason I had to stop seeing her was because my work for one didn't file my work injury claim properly, I work at the shipyard in Seattle as a longshoreman and marine machinist and marine heavy diesel mechanic working on all of the Washington State ferry boat machinist and mechanical repairs and all of the US Navy military warship destroyer projects department of Defense projects and contract jobs. My employer never filed my work injury claim at all and cut off my health insurance over a year ago. I haven't even been able to continue with the basic care that I need. I really really need to get back in to see Dr Lee if there's any way Dr Lee you could contact me I would really appreciate it. My phone # 3608996352

I've been a patient of Dr Oh for almost 15 years due to chronic pain conditions. He has always been…read morewise about my medications, always goes through my med list with me so that there aren't issues of med interactions. I'm a retired RN after a severe injury on-the-job, which broke my hips and several vertebrae, wrist and resulted in chronic pain. I've had several hip surgeries as they keep having problems. So, as a medical professional, I recognize Dr Oh's really caring treatment. He's even returned calls while he was out of the country on vacation! He's cares for everyone equally, and he manages complex spine issues. These injuries don't always just "heal up" and go away. Some stay forever and living day-to-day without his management would be much more limited. Your world shrinks with chronic pain. Even with the pain, a walker and medication, I can't walk through the grocery store, down the street where I live or even to the park next door! This has been going on for 16 years and I trust Dr Oh completely. He's the only doctor who really knows me, knows that I don't -and never would- abuse my medication. Without it, I'd be in bed 24/7. That's not living, to me. It's existing. I had a bad femur fracture in '22 which split the femur down the middle from the knee almost to the hip. I was "no weight bearing" for 2 months in a skilled nursing facility with two demented, incontinent roommates. After I could do PT with weight bearing, I worked as hard as I could to get strong and to gth out of there. It's not living, just existence. It took more months of PT/rehab, and even my doctors there continued Dr. Oh's regimen. They said that they knew that I was still in pain but I didn't want to come out of that facility as an addict. My doctors there said "stick with him. He clearly cares well for you." So, to the people who had a less-than-optimal experience, I feel sad. Nobody should feel bad about their Dr. The plans have to work for YOU, and Dr Oh will treat you with respect. If you are looking for a "pill mill" to get high, don't bother. He can see that in a heartbeat and can help you to get sober, but he won't just feed your addiction. It must be hard to have to buy meds on the street or from folks you can't trust. All of my other doctors (orthopedic, rheumatologist, primary care, etc) have been kept in the loop when changes have been made. That's real care, compassion and professionalism.

One, chronic back pain that is getting…read moreworse, since 1995, which is what I want Dr Oh focusing on but I also have fibromyalgia diagnosed just a year ago which is debilitating in itself but these knots I get are excruciatingly painful and he had said to me "I am giving you the maximum amount of pain med for the amount of pain your in". Anyone else see what's wrong with that sentence? Exactly. But no other mention of how I can help myself at home with this back pain. I just keep getting sent to lab for more and more and even more blood tests. That of course shows nothing wrong bc that's fibro for you. I'm more concerned with how bad my pain gets due to disc problems, degenerative disease, and phantom pain. knotted up in lower back and the loss of mobility bc of the pain and this low dose pain management is not helping much at all. He refuses to discuss going up on pain meds, adding something with the pain med or even discussing how bad my pain is. Fix it without drugs would be great I mean who wants to be dependent on pills for Christ sake. But with no other options being provided. That's what I get from him. A very low and non effective dose of pain medicine. I am down again today for the 3rd week in a row with terrible knots in my back. I cannot function it's extremely debilitating, keeps me in bed. I called last Friday and spoke to the receptionist and also left a message about this to see if I could come in and see him maybe he could help with these knots. But, no one ever returned my call also he said to go ahead and take an extra pain pill due to oral surgery but then even after I called to remind him, my pain medication did not get called in on time so I went several days without anything at all. I may change this rating in future but it depends on how I am treated moving forward. Might not be going here much longer. I need to find someone who's willing to at least give me a physical exam which no Dr has done out of the 8 dr's I've seen in last year. So idk what I think yet. Pretty disappointed right now.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would! STAY AWAY FROM HERE!! I was referred by my current Dr to Dr…read more Nelson at this location. My current Dr warned me he had had several other patients whom he referred, who had appointments cancelled on them when they showed up. It was so bad, Dr. Nelson visited my Dr at his practice to personally apologize and promise this would never happen again. Surprise, surprise, he was WRONG! From the moment I first called to make my appointment, I should have known there was an issue. They would not even schedule my appointment without my claim number from my auto accident. The next day, I gathered all of my information and called the next day to make an appointment. The earliest I could schedule was more than a month out. The woman I spoke with took all my contact information, phone numbers, email address, claim number, adjuster's name and phone number as well as the name of my Dr who referred me. I was coming in under an auto accident claim but she did also confirm I had medical insurance and my provider for this as well. Another words, she had ALL my information, can't think of anything she missed. So yesterday, I show up for my appointment with Dr. Nelson, and wait for it...it was CANCELLED. The girl behind the desk was completely unapologetic and said they tried to call me and couldn't reach me so they cancelled my appointment. She stated they needed my claim number and my adjuster's information to verify coverage. I pointed out they clearly had this information as the appointment would only be scheduled after I provided all of this information. They also had my wrong phone number in the system( mind you I gave them 2 when I made my appointment), however, instead of following-up with my referring Dr., they chose to cancel my appointment. No apology from the snotty girl behind the desk and the only thing offered to me was making another appointment. If this one didn't work, why would I risk it happening again. Their customer service is horrible and their Dr.'s know it and continue to let it happen. If you make an appointment here, don't be surprised if it is cancelled. Find some where else to go where they will value you as a patient. I saw my referring Dr. yesterday and he said that was their last shot an no more referrals will be headed to Washington Center for Pain Management.

She could not be a more conscientious, patient, empathetic, and truly wonderful person. I've had all sorts of med issues, insurance hold ups, and other problems since I started seeing her and she's been AMAZING! Come to her with an issue or a potential screw up and she'll work tirelessly to come up with a solution that greatly improves your quality of life. I comply with the very very few regulations unfairly imposed on her by the DEA. If you decide to use "old prescriptions" or something else rather than sending her a message explaining that you are out of meds and the pain is getting bad that's a reflection on you not her. If you contact her, she's very very likely to have you make an emergency appointment to discuss why your meds are working. If your UA passes, and if federal regulations allow she might switch your meds or give you another solution. PLEASE whatever you do don't violate your patient agreement and put her license in jeopardy because you need relief now. There's only one catch: WA has a prescription drug database that's routinely monitored. If you're prescribed controlled substances by another doc, an ER, or simply make a mistake... just send her a message. If, however, you fail your UA or hide other controlled substance prescriptions then you'll likely be terminated. They don't do random unannounced UAs, they treat you like a responsible adult and tell you all of this upfront! I couldn't ask for more! She's awesome. If you're looking for a pain med doc.... look no further.

I haven't had much, if any, neck issues since then. And even if I get some flare ups, I feel confident to resolve that with the exercises he's given me, and it resolves within a week (usually less). I recently started having really bad lower back pain for about the last 1-2 months and I finally made an appt to see him today. Zach gave me such an informative rundown on the root issues and the assessment was spot-on to my bad [posture] habits. He assured me in the way I needed it and again gave me the proper tools and exercises to feel confident that I can tackle this. I left feeling much less stiffness and tension in my lower back bc he spent some time loosening it up and adjusting my back. Can't say enough wonderful things about the guy and his knowledge. I already recommended him to some of my gfs.
