Some of the best tacos I have had in NY. I had the chicken and steak taco sets. It you asked me which I would order again (because I definitely will) it would be a difficult choice.
:
The steak on the tacos was succulent, soft, and had the perfect amount of bite to them.
They were also substantially loaded up and served with guac. The tortillas were doubled up and the texture on them was soft but still had bite without being soft to the point of breaking when held.
The steak was also cooked perfectly. I was never chewing too long, signaling overcooked meat. Just juicy enough as well. In a word: balanced.
The chicken tacos also had great texture and were well-seasoned. It's so easy to over salt and over season meat but they were just right here. Flavorful without doing too much.
The tortilla chips were just as good and didn't even need the guacamole they came with, which was also strong.
Additionally, the prices were attractive. $11 for a set of 3 tacos in 2026 is enough to get me in the door alone. The fact that the food is great for the price is incredible.
Also had their chicharron (pork rinds), which they make themselves. These were also great. The flavor profile was light, the bite was crunchy, and thy went down light. Airy. They paired well with a margarita, IPA or regular beer.
Ambiance is low-key, unpretentious and on their terms. There's a bar as well with good alcohol (IPAs, tequila, etc). Overall, a very strong Latin-owned and run operation. You gotta love it. read more
