My parents are moving out of their home of 30 years and have started in on a multi-day moving process. Yesterday was the day we put stuff in storage and moved other things to my apartment. My parents hired Boston Small Moves and they did an awesome job. They were very friendly, and we were all amazed that they were able to pack up all that stuff from their house, move other things that were being thrown out to curbside, drop stuff off at my apartment and drop the rest off at storage in just three hours. Nothing was damaged and they even gave my parents a few tips about how to properly dispose of gasoline they had stored in the garage for our lawnmower they will no longer be using. I saw an advertisement for this company on Facebook, and inquired about whether they could do a smaller job for me--I had installed ductless ac in my house and had several leftover window air conditioners I no longer needed and wanted to get taken out. Not a huge job, but too heavy for my poor back. The owner was gracious and came over that very day, on his day off, and took care of it for a reasonable price. Very nice fellow. These guys are awesome!! I used them in August 2018... Vlad and his team moved two beds into my apartment (3rd floor of an old house with very narrow stairways). There was not enough space to get the box springs around and up the staircases, but they were not deterred. They hoisted two box springs up the fire escape from outside (a truly superhuman feat). I am grateful for their persistence (and strength) and the professionalism they exhibited the whole time. read more
