Such a filling and delicious dinner! The portions here were huge, I had to take half to go! Starting off, our server was great and really quick with ordering. The menu is plentiful, and it looks like you can't go wrong with anything. When the plates came out, we were astonished with the sizes, you really get your moneys worth! We also started off with a delicious bread and dip before receiving the main dishes. My doner sandwich was filled to the brim with meat and super yummy, it was just quite hefty to eat! Paired with the orange soda felt like the perfect combo. We certainly left happy and full, and I'm already waiting to come back and try something new!

It became more and more disgusting doner. Burnt, dry, no flavor at all. What happened to old delicious doner?

I was staying at a hotel in the area and just couldn't do another night of bland room service - it was Sunday night so options were limited. I saw this spot on Yelp and love falafel so gave it a shot. I was glad I did - and I'm still so full!!! Because I don't get Middle Eastern food that often I splurged on a lamb gyro wrap, a Greek salad and the falafel appetizer plate. The portions are huge! The falafel came with some incredible hummus too and some sort of pickled cabbage slaw that went with it perfectly. Super nice staff and a comfortable place to eat in as well. I recommend!

The lady behind the counter was super friendly when we came and left! Inside has a decent number of tables and is cozy Ordered the doner kebab wrap! The sauces on the side are great, honestly could use even more of it, since the inside of the wrap had mostly dry ingredients. The wrap was very neatly folded so it made eating it easier. And the meat was nice and soft. Surprisingly filling as well! A solid meal although felt somewhat expensive

Amazing service, attentive to all requests, this place really strives for authentic ambiance. The Ayran was nice and sour. The Lahmacun was a perfect crispy, and the Doner was juicy. The Kazandibi dessert was fairly priced.

Very nice, clean, excellent menu, plenty for vegetarians and vegans, clean bathroom, relaxed service. The lentil soup was incredible! Looking forward to trying the salads and wraps, and someday desserts!

The food is really tasty! We got the doner and also a bread with cheese and sausage on it! Very crispy and tasty! My only complaint was that it was a bit greasy. The ambiance and service is fine.

Really wonderful restaurant with delicious, fresh food and good service! We walked in on a Sunday night and were able to be quickly seated without a reservation. They were playing lively music and had nice decor. Their feta cheese rolls were simple but piping hot and crispy. The döner dinner platter was reasonably shared between two with a variety of meats, carbs, and vegetables. Finally, the highlight was the super crispy and warm kunefe with milky ice cream. We would definitely come by to try the other items!

GUYS!!! We were hungry. It was late. We were staying around the corner, our hotel's kitchen was closed. What are we to do? NOT eat, like plebeians?? No thank you. To the rescue: the awesome staff at Boston Doner! Super friendly, straight-from-Turkey legit people and food. They make their own bread- AWESOME, the doner meat is so delicious, the portions are huge. Can't recommend it enough- if you like middle eastern food at all, or want to try it- COME HERE NOW!

So so good! As a turkish person living in Boston i was so happy to find Boston Doner! The owner was so nice and welcoming! The server was so nice! Food was amazing! Exactly like in Turkey! The pide, appetizer plater, the huge meat platter and lahmacun was great! One advice to restaurant would be to play some fun turkish music. You have to try this place!

I ordered from here with a group and got to try their doner wrap. The portion was big enough for two servings and the wrap itself was chewy in a great way. However, I was extremely disappointed by the doner itself. The doner had little to no flavor and was quite dry! Although the wrap came with two sauces, they did not add much flavor or spice. For $14.99 for a wrap I am not sure if I would order here again, even if the portion is big.

Lavash Grille - Cambridge, MA Total Score: 9/10…read more Lavash Grille in Cambridge delivers a Turkish and Mediterranean dining experience that feels both vibrant and deeply comforting. This is the kind of place that works beautifully for group outings, thanks to the big, long tables that make it easy to settle in, share plates, and actually enjoy the social side of dining. The sampler platters and mixed grill dishes are absolutely the way to go. Portions are generous, the variety is excellent, and everything we tried tasted fresh and well balanced. The hummus and baba ganoush were both standouts, packed with flavor and a great start to the meal. One of the biggest highlights was the manti. These delicate, bite sized dumplings with yogurt sauce were pure comfort food and easily one of the most memorable dishes of the night. The haydari (similar to Tzatziki) was another favorite. Rich, creamy, and incredibly flavorful, it's the kind of dip you keep reaching for long after you're full. For something a little different, the traditional Turkish coffee made with hot sand is such a fun experience and well worth ordering. Ending the meal with coffee and rice pudding felt like the perfect, cozy finish. On a practical note, I was genuinely happy there is some parking here, which is always a welcome bonus in Cambridge. Overall, Lavash Grille is a place I'd gladly return to. Great food, perfect for group settings, and an all around enjoyable dining experience.

They have a small parking lot off the side of the restaurant which is free. Inside, there is plenty of space. The service and staff are very nice. We got a lentil soup to share, manti and beef liver as appetizers. Everything tasted amazing. The manti could be a little softer. We also got coffee and tea. The tea was refilled throughout the time we were there which was a nice touch. For my main I got the chicken Adana and my friend got the lamb version. Both were grilled to perfection. Such simple ingredients but the meal was well balanced. The meat came with rice and some grilled/ pickled veggies. The only thing to note is that the bathroom is shared with the building and was out of toilet paper and was in bad condition.

The hidden gem in the whole experience is the basket of fresh bread and the small plate of white bean salad that comes to the table after ordering; the bread is steaming hot from the oven, and the beans and vegetables taste really fresh. The atmosphere is inviting rather than flashy, and you get a sense the place is run by a family with genuine care for how the food is made. What I liked The menu is broad, with Turkish classics like grilled kebabs, mixed grill platters, pide (Turkish flatbread pizza) and desserts like baklava and the deep-fried kunefe. The staff were friendly, helpful with questions (especially about ingredients or dietary concerns) and seemed genuinely welcoming. There's a comfortable, at-home vibe. Bonus: there are gluten-free friendly options and staff seem attentive to allergy/diet-needs. A few caveats Some reviewers noted inconsistency -- e.g., one person said the lavash bread felt stale or the portion of a particular dish was smaller than expected. While the "buffet" name suggests all-you-can-eat, there was confusion about pricing and format (some said bought by the pound rather than unlimited). If you're looking for a relaxed, family-run Turkish spot in Brookline with solid food, Anatology is a strong choice. The ambience is casual, the portions generous, and the menu rich in flavor. I'd go back to explore more of the desserts (that kunefe looked tempting) and maybe try the pide next time. If you're visiting during a slower hour you'll probably get the best experience. Would highly recommend it for brunch-to-dinner, especially if you like kebabs, grilled meat platters and a comfortable local atmosphere.

We were greeted by the owner and made to feel comfortable as soon as we walked in. This time, as usual, we started with the red lentil soup and hummus. Both delicious and the hummus as smooth as silk and not over-loaded with tahini. We tried the fried calamari for the first time, and I wouldn't order that again; I think it's a frozen product they simply reheat; the sauce that came with it was good and the calamari tasty, but not what you're looking for if you want calamari. Our choice of entree is usually get the Fainting Imam, stuffed eggplant with vegetables, pine nuts and raisins, and it is heavenly, but this time I decided to experiment and ordered the Vegetable Mousakka With Béchamel Sauce. I was a little disappointed in the dish; it was made up of a variety of vegetables, sliced thin and layered. There was a piece of fried potato I couldn't cut through; it was really crunchy-hard. I ate it; it was good, but too done. What disappointed me was the absence of Bechamel sauce; it may have been there, but if it was, I couldn't taste or see it. Maybe a foam??? That was one of my reasons for trying the dish; I expected more of a Pastitsio-like layer of Bechamel or at least something I could discern in the dish. The Shepphard salad did not come with my entree (I don't know why? It comes with the Imam?), but I had to order it; it is out of this world. Simple and delicious. Particularly appealing to me is that they do not include large pieces of green pepper in the salad; there were a few bits, but not overwhelming. Next time, I might just get that salad, the soup and some hummus!!! I may have whined a little here, but don't let anything I said keep you away from Pasha.
