It's about time that I reviewed Boston Bean House bc it's awesome! Maria and Lorraine (and the other amazing ladies and ppl in the back) were spot on with the quality of the breakfast quality and service. We arrived early on Easter morning before traveling, and I'm so glad that we did as it was freshly made and filled us up for a long car ride. We got the hungry man plate, Mexican burrito, blueberry muffin and beverages. I always order cappuccinos and they made it just right, strong with the right amount of foam. Delicious! we will be back very soon! Also, the price was not bad at all for this amazing breakfast for three.

A much needed community bright spot in what remains of downtown Maynard. I think the coffee is pretty average, but I love the open, airy space and the friendly staff. It is a perfect place to meet up with friends or work remotely.

The night that we moved into town, we celebrated by going out to dinner. We arrived at Silver girl…read more40 minutes before closing, and were informed that the kitchen was already closed. We expressed disappointment, but they then checked with the Kitchen staff and said sure if you order right away we would be happy to serve you. We were thrilled! We ordered drinks and had food, and it was all wonderful. We loved the speakeasy, vibe, the custom cocktails, and the impressive and carefully curated alcohol options at the bar. The service was wonderful and friendly. We thought, oh great, this is going to be our go to place in town, we'll be here frequently! Our next visit was completely different. I called ahead of time to check on availability, mention that we prefer to sit at the bar, and confirm that they do not take reservations at the bar, but that there were tables available. So we had it in. When we arrived, we clearly saw at least four open seats at the bar. But we were informed that those seats were reserved. I mentioned that I had just called to confirm that there were seats available and confirmed that bar seats could not be reserved. Well, that was perplexing. And there was no genuine apology, no mention that they might be sorry about the confusion, let us see what we can do... Ultimately, the hostess, did checked with some folks and found that there was a table that we could have. So we sat down for our meal. The service this night was decidedly different, and we couldn't help feeling like we'd forced our way into a private club that we really weren't welcomed at. That was a few months ago, and we haven't been back since.

The experience at Silver Girl is fab soup-to-nuts, from the food, drinks, service, and ambience. If…read moreyou want a romantic date night or a celebratory cocktail and nosh, this is your spot! The band played just the right rhythm and sound to enhance, but not interrupt, our meal. The food is great for sharing or for hoarding ;). I meant to take a picture of our chocolate dessert but we dug in before I had a chance. We sat at the bar and had great conversation with the bartender/owner and the other guests. The ambience of this quaint jazz bar and restaurant is simply amazing. Would recommend it to anyone in Acton or passing through!

I normally get the same thing TOGO because it's so good! Eggs Benny and a side of potatoes. I wish…read morethey would include the potato as a meal. I've switched up the ham to their bacon which is delicious! Thick cut, crispy and tons of it! I also recommend getting an extra side of hollandaise because it's THAT good! Kids miniature chocolate chip pancakes are filling and pretty large. Dine-in they have kids cute coloring page and yummy hot coco! I had the chance to dine-in and the inside is decorated nicely and I love the light coming from all the large windows. I wish there were more booth seating available, the hard wooden chairs are not that comfy. - Small waiting area in front and outdoors - outdoor seating when it's nice out - online ordering avail for easy pickup and delivery (by 3rd party) - share parking lot but usually pretty full, overflow in Whole Foods lot avail - you can now reserve tables! Yah! Note: $10 no-show fee

The place itself was clean, neat, and not very large. We ordered the regular eggs Benedict (around $21) and the chicken and waffle eggs Benedict (around $30). Between the two, I definitely preferred the chicken and waffle Benedict. It was more savory, whereas the regular eggs Benedict also savory but came with a red sauce that was surprisingly sweet when I was expecting something more traditional and savory. Overall, I would come here for a special occasion, as the price point feels a bit high for what you get. You can definitely find a similar eggs Benedict elsewhere for cheaper. That said, I do recommend trying the green hot sauce they have. I thought it paired really well and tasted better with the dish.
