Great job cleaning the flooring on our lower level. The technician was prompt, professional and efficient. Our floor had flooded during hurricane Ida. It was discolored and the dirt was caked in the ceramic tile. Would ask that they concentrate on the corners of the room more where it can be hard to reach. BossOptima CA-Would give 0 stars if I could. Horrible business practices and unprofessional service. Total waste of time, money and energy. Called for an appointment for BossOptima to clean tile in my sunroom and remove some black strips left by previous owner's possibly from exercise equipment. Discussed this in depth when I made the appointment and even sent pictures of what it looks like. They said no problem to complete and took my payment up front. When when the 1st technician arrived he asked me how much I paid the company and said that he could do the job for less- for cash under-the-table. Clearly I didn't accept his offer. They scheduled another appointment and that person canceled close to when they were supposed to be here. Scheduled again and the same thing happened. 4th appointment- was on a Saturday waited all day and then called the company and was told my appointment was canceled and rescheduled for the next week although I was never notified. Each time I am rescheduled i have to make sure someone is home. My furniture has been moved into my dining room for weeks waiting for this appointment. Finally someone comes to complete the job and tells me that it will cost me 4 times what we agreed and what I already paid to complete the job. Several weeks, several hundreds of dollars and several hours of wasted time and my tiles still aren't done. I am now awaiting my refund. read more

I hired Boss Optima to clean my beige leather sofa and ottoman. My sofa was in perfect condition but it had gotten dirty from use & dust from our recent home renovation. The tech they sent out to us from Las Vegas was nice & friendly enough but leather sofas were by no means his area of expertise, he is a carpet/floor cleaner. He "cleaned" my sofa by only spraying and wiping with a cloth and also using a bristle brush attached to a drill. Never once did he rinse out the cloth or brush, so basically just moved the dirt from one part to another. He told me to let it sit with the ceiling fans on because he had sprayed a conditioner on it and by tomorrow it would be absorbed. In the morning when I looked at it, it was blotchy and very sticky to the touch. I took a damp white towel to wipe it and see if I could remove the stickiness, that area of the towel ended up brownish gray from the dirt sitting on top of the surface. As I looked around at my sofa I noticed the leather was now cracked in some places and in several of the seams he had used that brush too much or too hard that it had ground off the pebble grain finish of the leather. I paid 450.00 for a carpet cleaner to come ruin my $7,000 sofa. I have called the company several times to get an email address so I can send them pictures but they don't answer and after leaving several voicemail they have not returned my call. I have waited long enough for their call. I plan on reporting them to the BBB and I'm also speaking with my attorney and will dispute my credit card payment to them. I would never use this company again. They do not have their own techs, they find a tech local to you to contract and they pay them from what they charge you. And yes, they want to charge you upfront, when you set the appointment. I told them nevermind and to cancel my appointment. I refused to pay them before they did the work so they agreed to charge me when the work was done. Unfortunately, I didn't realize what a horrible job was done at time of payment and paid the bill before the tech left. The lowest rating option on Yelp is One star, so I gave that. Do not use them. They have no technicians. Their business model is to get you to call them, promise you everything, have you prepay, which is not industry standard. Then they scramble to find local talent to service your job. They overcharged you and they underpay the actual carpet cleaning company doing the job. Use local companies and you will receive superior service at a better price. As a technician I have now had numerous issues with them. The main issue is getting paid in a timely fashion. It takes months to get paid. They use to pay in a few days. They communicate timely when they want something but when I ask them about receiving payment, silence is all I get. You can get quality work done sometimes but just know on the backend they are under paying the people actually doing the work, or not paying them at all. As of today I still haven't been paid for a job that I did on September 3rd. Just check google for their reviews. read more

I recently used Boss Optima for cleaning a loveseat and 2 chairs. The service was terrible. The floor was not protected during the process and the floors were completely soaked. They were unable to clean the 2 chairs claiming the process would not work. Used a dry cleaner and there was zero difference in the finish job. The loveseat was a little better but they did not clean the sides. Terrible job! They have a 30 day warranty to come back but why would anyone want to experience that again! I had to fight to have the price reduced for doing only half the job. Not worth the trouble. Do not recommend this business at all! read more

Stay away from Boss Optima. They took more than the full cost of the job upfront without my knowledge. After many lies I cancelled. If they owe you a credit their business model is to ignore, lie and give you the run around until you give up and they can steal your money. They will come up with every excuse to avoid refunding what they owe you. Including a non-refund policy which you are never advised of when booking. They offered me half of my money back, which I refused. I felt like I was being blackmailed. I filed a claim with VISA and got my $881 back. Hopefully VISA will cut them off. Subcontractor was great: on time and professional, did what was asked, courteous. Cannot say the same for president Mike Ochoa of Boss Optima. When we realized we had missed three in our vent count and updated that with them, he took the opportunity to charge a higher rate per vent for all ten vents in a supplemental charge to our credit card. If I could give zero stars I would. I hired this company to clean my mattress. My mattress ended up even worse than it was before. It was filled with brown spots and it smelled like a wet dog. I called them right away all I got was the runaround. I was transferred to minimum of 10 different people and then I got ignored. They kept giving me the runaround so the 30 days would lapse. It's actually not funny at all it is blatant fraud since they have no intentions of keeping with their promise. Stay away from this company. This is a scam! Not rated with BBB and has taken $850 from my 88 year old mother. She canceled in 24 hrs realizing this wasn't right and they refuse to refund her. I have called multiple times only to be told that they've requested it. They then badgered my mother by telling her she agreed to no refunds when she was read the disclosure. Disclosures should be available in print along with a receipt of transaction except they can't seem to produce either in writing. I am a professional in the industry and was contacted by this company to handle some carpet cleaning for them. After sending a near constant barrage of vaguely threatening execu-speak text messages and emails letting me know that I needed to keep that appointment time no matter what the cost (Yes, I am well aware of how important it is to show up on time for customers...thank you), they then canceled the job only a couple of hours from the appointed time. Anyone in this field should know that's a major no-no. Thanks guys! For the record, I run two semi-large multi-van cleaning companies that are both rated 5 stars on Yelp, Google, Home Advisor, Thumbtack, BBB and others. Absolutely the worst business in Phoenix. I sued them and was awarded over $4,600 for a leather couch that was 8 years old. It took a year and a half to get my money and Ronnie 'Mike' Ouchoa wrote a bad check for the final payment that he had begged the court to let him make. I was prepared to move on after the last check but Ronnie has opened the door to get him back in court and collect more penalties and interest. There is an open file for Boss Optima at the Attorney General's office and I encourage anyone and everyone to contact their office. It appears as if this business is in trouble over their flawed business plan. Another judgment like I was awarded may be all it takes to close them down so I also encourage filing a lawsuit if you have a claim. Ronnie hated court and his narcissistic character cost him the case. I warned him on the onset about the tenacity of a recovering alcoholic but no, after being awarded 60% of the cost of the a sofa wasn't enough, he had to open himself up to a $2,500 fine and 6 months in jail for a check over $1,000. I told him in court that I was after him for all the people he has screwed over, this lawsuit was about all the complaints on Yelp. I called to schedule a appointment and the customer service rep told me they needed to hold my card on file to set the appointment. They lie about their services and who does the work as all they do is sub-contract some local guy and pay him a fraction of what they charge you and if you don't get good service your screwed. I successfully disputed Boss Optima's charge for tile-cleaning that was never delivered, with my credit card company ruling against them. Apparently, they didn't even try to defend themselves. Make sure to formally dispute any prepayment you make within 30 days if you don't get the service you paid for. Their scam seems to be calling to "apologize" for "having to delay" until you're past the 30-day dispute window, then just keeping your money. That's what they tried to do with me. Better yet, ask for recs from neighbors and hire someone local to you. If the job worked out, it's because Boss Optima found someone local to hire. As best as I can tell, they have no actual service staff themselves. You don't want Boss Optima as the middleman! read more

Wish there was a 0 star rating. I made an appointment on or about 9/25/23 with BossOptima to have my rugs cleaned. The appointment was scheduled for Thurs 9/28/23 between 2-5PM (see attached appointment card). I paid $519.95 for the cleaning with premium discounts. The deal was if I CANCELED, I would not get a refund but a credit for another appointment. I DID NOT CANCEL. BOSSOPTIMA CANCELED my appointment and rescheduled for another day and time that was not acceptable to me; but it gets worse. They never told me they canceled my appointment nor had scheduled a new appointment. So, about 415PM on Thurs, after moving/picking up things off the floor before the cleaning and wasting all afternoon waiting, I called BossOptima who proceeded to tell me my appointment was for Saturday 8AM. I said, No; it's scheduled for right now. Words were exchanged, multiple phone calls made, the customer service rep hung up on me. Apparently, their mantra is - if you cancel the appointment, you can't get a refund. My mantra was - I didn't cancel, you did, and you are in breach of contract, and I want a refund. More calls, more repeating mantras. I spoke to someone identified as National Director Mike, who said I'd get a refund. I was told they'd make a refund exception 3 times, but I never got a refund. As of this writing (Wed), we are still arguing; they're having a problem ith the credit card machine.. I did get a cancelation notice card Friday from them saying I canceled, and they will not give a refund. Yesterday's phone call yielded a promise of a 50% refund with a 50% service credit - neither of which I believe nor desire. I demand a 100% refund. And by the way, I was getting advertising in the mail and on email and on text message before I booked my appointment. Does that constitute mail fraud? I found Boss Optima on line. The sales rep was helpful and diligent in her follow up seeming like it was going to be a great decision. However, actually getting the work performed proved to be extremely difficult. After many phone calls, texts and emails they finally had a local service provider show up. However, they didn't have my name or contact info and our building security turned them away. I then received an angry call from the local provider of which I didn't know he was on site earlier that morning. After another month or so a second provider met me only to find out he could not do the job. The third and final service tech came but could not perform the task to clean the fabric panels. Explained the concerns in type of cleaning promising to come back to finish. Never heard from anyone again. Very disappointing. Boss Optima originally charged all the work up front. I refused and they agree to 50% deposit. And even after the work preformed (4 months later) was not performed as promised they still charged for the work. I strongly recommend avoiding this company and simply seek engaging local providers directly. You will save yourself a lot of time, trouble and expense. read more

I am so sorry i fell for the schedule now for a special deal scam. I paid $269 for a 10 minute treatment on my mattress. I could have done a better job with the bissell. I called to ask if such an expensive service was supposed to last only 10 minutes and told an immediate OH NO! On their webs site and when my set up my appointment they said it would include a deep clean, pre vacuum and special seal coat ( I have Sever allergies) the man arrived wet the floor and left. This took him less then 25 min. No furniture was moved. I have been trying to re schedule for another cleaning. And have been cancelled on 3 times. Re routed to 6 people I am so upset. Update. Finally got a hold of someone. And he said " let me find someone else for you to talk to". Update. Have been on hold for 3 hours to speak to someone in charge. Boss Optima deserves zero stars. This company does not have any employee-technicians, but instead contracts out to solo contractors, so you have no idea what kind of service you're getting. Basically, Boss Optima is nothing but a middleman that charges a premium. Here's my experience: I paid $700 upfront to get my carpet cleaned. The technician arrived 2 weeks later with a large wet-dry vac. I voiced concern but he insisted it was fine. He then proceeded to hook up to my sink. He sprinkled some baking soda on the "spot clean" areas. Because the machine was so loud, I had to sit outside while he cleaned. Almost 2 hours later, he told me his pump broke and he would be unable to finish the job the same day. He said he had completed about 1/3 of the house. After the technician left, I discovered he had spilled a large amount of water on the carpet in a room that he hadn't even cleaned and dumped his wet-dry vac on my front porch. Then I ventured into the rooms he claimed he had cleaned, only to be very disappointed to discover that the carpet was still completely filthy. Most of it doesn't even look like it was touched, and it smells like wet dog. I called the service department and complained. They apologized and are currently trying to find another "affiliate" to do the job (aka they are trying to find a sucker subcontractor to take the job). In the course of my discussions with the supervisor, I learned that they do not put any deodorizing stuff in the water. This means they cannot get pet odors out of the carpet. UPDATE: After writing this review, I called Boss Optima and canceled. The rep, Mike Gabby seemed very apologetic and nice. However, 2 days later (after I had my carpet cleaned by another company), a technician showed up trying to clean my carpets! Boss Optima then claimed they have no record of the cancelation! I've had to submit a dispute through my bank. Sigh. read more
