So this will be a review of both spots. The wine bar/ cafe and the burger bar. The cafe is adorable. I love the decor and the welcoming vibe of it all. Staff have been consistently friendly and patient, providing recommendations based on my personal needs. They have a variety of coffees, teas, and juice beverages as well as a sampling of fresh pastries. It's definitely a vibe! Now to the burger spot. I stopped by for happy hour on a Thursday. They have happy hour Monday thru Friday with additional other daily specials. I sampled each of the happy hour appetizers. The salmon bites were tasty. Mozzarella bites were delicious. And the brussel sprouts were alright. Bartender J & Tati got me right! I will definitely return. Very happy to have them in the neighborhood. read more

Food: IDK Service: Bad Ambiance: Cool After seeing how crowded everything was on Cinco de Mayo thought I would try this spot out after seeing the constant online ads/promotions on IG throughout April and May. I decided it was finally time to check this new place out. I actually drove out of my way to come here expecting a great experience. What surprised me most was how empty it was. Not sure if there was people in the back room/booths as there were only a handful of people dining, and most weren't even eating. I decided to sit at the bar while music played in the background. There were two bartenders/servers working so, I was going to start w/a cocktail then food. As I patiently waited to be acknowledged, I eventually reached over the bar just to grab a mini menu because no one had even spoken to me. I was honestly trying to figure out how I could be passed multiple times without so much as:"Hello,""I'll be right with you," or"Someone will be with you shortly." Neither bartender said a single word. The male bartender walked past me 3-4 times, while the female bartender took orders from people sitting on both sides of me on opposite ends of the bar and still never acknowledged me once. After she took the second order beside me, I just stared at her in disbelief. I asked myself, "Is anyone even going to say anything to me?" When I finally made eye contact with her, instead of saying "one moment," she simply stared back at me as if I was supposed to just accept being ignored. After sitting there for about 12 minutes without a single greeting or acknowledgment, I decided this experience did not deserve my business, so I got up and left. Mind you, there were only around 8 customers total in the restaurant. Completely disappointing. I wasted my time trying to support a new business only to be treated as if I was invisible. This was by far the worst restaurant experience I've ever had on Cinco de Mayo so, I just went home pissed. BOSK ATL - Customer's deserve better than this. No business should EVER let business (money) walk out the door esp., all because of unprofessional staffing! I was able to check out this cute little cafe the other day and try their matcha iced latte. I'm always looking for somewhere I can read a good book while enjoying a refreshing beverage. The interior is cozy and chic, very esthetically pleasing to the eyes. I came on a day where there was a live performance, which happened to be a very skilled saxophone player. What a delightful experience while I enjoyed a matcha iced latte with hints of lavender. I paired it with a cheese danish that was warmed up and served on an emerald green plate that compliments the furniture around. I'm a firm believer that it's all in the details. The staff were attentive and welcoming to everyone's needs. There is plenty of complementary parking, so no need to worry about having that added to the cost of the visit. Complimentary WiFi is provided which was a plus. This place is perfect to come & work on your laptop or a cute coffee date with friends. I stumbled across Bosk and I'm so glad I did. I arrived just before happy hour ended, so my burger was discounted - always a win! As a metro Atlanta native, I loved the names of the entrées. I had The Cascade and it hit the spot! My food came out quickly, though I noticed that wasn't the case for some other tables. My dessert actually took longer to come out than my main entrée. That said, the dessert was peach cobbler egg rolls with ice cream and OMG... they were so good! Definitely worth the wait. I enjoyed the atmosphere here. It was really cute inside. I ordered a salmon grilled cheese which they happily allowed me to change to vegan cheese. Love that it was an option. It was served in texas toast and it was yummy. I also tried an iced cookie butter latte with oat milk. That was ok. Only reason I'm giving this place four stars is because I wasn't really greeted as i entered and the parking is odd. Otherwise I'd be open to visiting again and love that we have a local option to cowork and create. read more

Finally made it to Bosk Cafe to try a latte. It's a very cozy and stylish setting with very comfortable seats. The service was very friendly! Now be prepared to wait if you arrive at a busy time. When I visited ona Sunday shortly after they opened it was one person taking orders and making drinks; they did it extremely well but there was a wait. I like that they also have a food menu in addition to pastries. They had a seasonal menu and my sis and I each ordered the Blushing Chai Latte $7. It was spice Chai infused with rose flavors. It was so delicious and the rose wasn't overpowering and paired well with the Chai tea. We shared one of the specialty cinnamon rolls ($8), butter pecan which was very delicious and the perfect size for two people. I also had the salmon grilled cheese ($11) and it was so good, I finished the sandwich although I was planning on taking half home. I liked that it wasn't too cheesy and had chopped salmon and thick buttery bread. Free parking and there were spots designated in the front of the cafe. Had my first visit here today and it was a great experience. I was greeted by the barista when I came in and was able to order relatively quickly at the counter. I got an iced cookie butter latte and the BCE sandwich with her recommended add-ons of tomato and onion. The food was made to order and the drink was delicious. I started with the cauliflower bites as an appetizer, then went with the fried fish and mac and cheese for my entrée. The vibes were right from the jump. Good energy, good playlist, nice setup, and the decor was on point. It's a solid spot to sit back and enjoy yourself. Service was a little slow. It took a long time just to get sweet tea, and once I finally did, I couldn't get a refill because the server didn't really come back around. They also brought the appetizer out without a side plate or utensils, which was a small miss. Food-wise, it delivered. The cauliflower bites were really good. I believe I had the buffalo flavor, and they hit. The fried fish was solid, well-seasoned and cooked right. The mac and cheese was good too, but it could've used a little more time. The middle wasn't fully melted, so it felt like it needed a bit more love in the oven. Overall, it was a solid experience. Good food, great music, and a strong atmosphere. My family and I visited this evening, and I want to start by saying that our server was absolutely amazing. The service was 10/10, the food was great, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Everything we needed was provided promptly, and up until the end of our visit, we had a wonderful experience. Around 9:30 PM, we were ready to leave and were waiting to pay. After our server finished processing our cards, my cousin and I went to use the restroom. When I came back, my sister and I sat at the table waiting for my cousin to come out. At this point, it was around 9:59 PM, and the staff was beginning their closing procedures. While we were waiting, a kitchen employee made a comment that immediately caught my attention. Several servers responded by saying, "We still have customers here." The employee then repeated what they said and replied, "Man, f*** them." He continued by saying, "Tell them to leave. Ask them to leave." The staff around him laughed. For context, it was approximately 10:01-10:02 PM, and my cousin was literally walking out of the restroom so we could leave. We weren't lingering, eating, socializing, or preventing the staff from closing. Our food was packed up, our bill was paid, and we were simply waiting for one person to return from the restroom. I chose not to confront anyone because I didn't want to create a scene, but I found those comments extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Hearing that from an employee completely changed how I felt about what had otherwise been a great first visit. It's disappointing because the service from our server was outstanding, and she deserves recognition for making our experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, the comments made by the kitchen employee left a lasting negative impression. Because of that interaction, I do not plan on returning. read more

I really believe they only had two servers and one bartender covering the entire restaurant. So I was patient with my server. I'll give her a star for her effort. But Food came out cold. On Valentine's Day I was treated a wine tasting and then dinner at Bosk. The wine tasting was very nice and took place on in the coffee shop/wine bar. We tasted 6 wines that were paired with small bites. Each pairing went very well together. Next door is the full service restaurant and bar. I ordered the turkey ribs that comes with 2 sides. I ordered the vegetable medley and Mac and cheese. The turkey ribs were really good. The barbecue sauce had a nice smokiness to it. The veggies needed some seasoning they were rather bland. I did like that it wasn't your traditional medley with broccoli and carrots a nice switch up with the cabbage, zucchini and mushrooms. My date ordered the Alfredo pasta and added chicken and shrimp. I pointed me to the right direction. I was able to ask as many questions as need. The young lady that took my order made several recommendations but I went with the BURGER! If you're looking for something a little different in the realm of burgers you gotta give BOSK a try! I had the SWATS burger which consisted of a Smashed burger on toasted potato bun with cheddar cheese, beef bacon, grilled caramelized onions, and Georgia's own spicy barbecue sauce. Its was delicious to say the least. The ambiance was laid back and with a clean southern esthetic. The staff was very friendly and polite making it feel more like a trip your your uncles spot rather than your local burger joint. However, I really wanted a BEC on Texas toast that I had been looking forward to for days after reviewing the menu. When I arrived, the cook wasn't there and I was not able to order items from the kitchen. This entire review is because our server Charlie asked me to leave a review as we were leaving. She was a sweetheart. My son is home between duty stations and we've spent over $400 eating out in two days so I'm pretty much over the eating out experience especially since most food is just average at best. I had the Cascade turkey burger. It was okay but honestly I make a better turkey burger at home. My son had the dirty south burger and in his entire life I've never seen him eat a complete meal and I looked up and both his burger and fries were gone. Thumbs up on the fries. Right temperature and amount to accompany the burger. I spent $14 on a long island ice tea that was very weak. My daughter's friend had two strawberry margarita and he said they were strong. I'll take his word for it but two of them were about $24 so I hope they were since they were in a 6 oz glass. It was a nice crowd for a Thursday nite and one lady had three kids with her so weeknights are kid friendly. Charlie invited us back for brunch and I grilled her on the ambiance. I don't like loud, nor do I want the frats and soros to take over a place while I'm trying to eat. She assured me that the after church Sunday crowd would best fit what I want. I admit to questioning her heavily on the menu and a couple times she asked me if I needed anything for me to actually want something minutes later. Not once did she seem bother or irritated. BOSK definitely surprised me in the BEST way The restaurant has such a fun vibe and we got to sit in their private room called Noah's Studio which made the experience feel even more special. The setup was cute, music was good and the customer service was top tier. We ordered wings, a burger, salmon grilled cheese, salmon alfredo pasta and the peach cobbler egg roll with ice cream. Your eyes are pulled in so many directions, looking at all the cool stuff displayed throughout the bar/restaurant. The ambiance is set like a studio, with Big Oomp items around the restaurant (if you didn't know the acronym of the restaurant is Big Oomp Studio Kitchen). The service was prompt and courteous. I had the pleasure of dining at BOSK Studio Kitchen, and overall, it was a really enjoyable experience. I ordered the Texas Toast Smashburger with bacon and caramelized onions. When it arrived, the presentation was flatter than I expected--I was anticipating a thicker Texas toast--but I also understood that this is a smashburger, so that made sense. Once I took a bite, all concerns disappeared. The burger was very flavorful and delicious. I did have to send it back briefly, not because it wasn't made well, but because I was initially served a plainer version without the bacon or caramelized onions. Once corrected, it was perfect. What really stood out was the mocktail experience. I'm currently alcohol-free and asked several times for a mocktail. When I finally encouraged the bartender to just create something freely, she made a ginger beer with pineapple juice, beautifully garnished with rose petals. It was refreshing, thoughtful, and honestly amazing--so much so that it's now my beverage of choice. The ambience was excellent. I loved the hip-hop theme and the overall vibe of the space. I'm also looking forward to checking out their upcoming tapas coffee bar, and I'm curious about exploring Blake's next door as well. The food was tasty, the atmosphere was on point, and I will definitely be back--especially since I'm already craving a fully loaded hot dog with chili, sauerkraut, and all the works. During the Christmas season, I had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Brandon. He was a very cool brother and spoke highly of the establishment, which made me eager to visit. I finally came in yesterday. The business was clean, the music created a great atmosphere, and the hostesses greeted me pleasantly upon arrival. I had absolutely no complaints about the environment. I sat at the bar and was served by the bartender with long dreads. While at the bar, I mentioned that I had met the manager during the holidays but couldn't remember his name. I asked the bartender if he was working. He asked if the manager was light-skinned, and I said yes. He responded, "That's Mr. B." I then asked what his actual name was and whether he was working that day so I could let him know I stopped by. The bartender stated, "No, he's not here, and I don't know his name. I just call him Mr. B out of respect." When I asked, "You don't know your manager's name?" he maintained that he did not. I found this response concerning. If there is a policy against sharing management information, I would have respected a simple statement such as, "I'm not comfortable giving that information out." However, stating that he does not know his own manager's name felt dishonest and unnecessary. That moment caused me to question credibility and transparency. While his service was fair overall and the burger and fries were absolutely delicious, the interaction left me uncomfortable. Trust matters in customer service, and unfortunately, that response raised red flags for me. Waited an hour and a half for them to tell me they were out of BOSK sauce and impossible burgers. Literally had time to eat a snack, walk to the coffee shop, and get matcha and come back and still not have the food be ready. The two stars are for the bartender who was very personable and apologetic but the experience was horrible. Food was subpar at best. Shriveled half fried fish and undercooked chicken. Multiple people were having a similar experience as me and after reading some of the reviews it appears to be par for the course here. I hate that it's like this. Covered by all the accolades of Big Oomp and local legends it was a sight The bartender that night a dark skin woman who truly knew Her stuff , I asked for something that a true bartender would know and not only did she make it but understood the assignment . I usually do Anjeo but they didn't have one I liked but I asked for a bourbon and St Germaine and she nailed it with the balance . I ordered a few items but they had a very good menu with several options. I had ordered the egg rolls , Brussels sprouts , wings and salmon bites .ill say this , if they master them egg rolls they may have the best in the city but they need to focus on the overall balance of them they would be amazing . But I'll give them 3 out of 5 because they have premium ingredients but lacked on flavor but the sauce which I think was sweet chili saved them . Salmon bites a hit and Brussels too .
