    "chocolate filled" doughnut

My "chocolate filled" doughnut ...... a singular bite of it ://// Took 5 bites to even find it

    Expired milk

I have been going to this location for 15 years and I have become progressively disappointed in the service from this location specifically. The employees are always rude and I can never tell if they hate me or their job more. The drive thru sign is run down and the microphone system is always broken and has been for a long time. The food itself has normally been consistently great. Croissant breakfast sandwiches are delicious as well as the donuts. However, I recently ordered a chocolate milk for my child, and was given a regular milk. When I checked it at home, it was expired. That was the final straw for me. After coming here since I was a child, I refuse to go back. There's a much nicer location east of this one on University. Luckily Bosa Donuts is great wherever you go!

Had them delivered so don't know about the ambiance. Didn't go in, so I don't know about the service. What I do know is that those were the most scrumptious cake like donuts that I have EVER tasted. Just AmAzInG!

    The extra $1.00 for what

First and last visit to this spot. I forgot my debit card after I placed my order. I live two miles away and told her I'd come right back. My total before I left was 16.75. I come back and my total was $1.00 more. So I asked for a receipt. Crazy! Literally the receipt says extra $1.00 for what. Dishonesty is gross and business like this should be shut down.

If you're looking to satisfy your donut craving, this is the place to do it! We stopped in the morning and they had a nice selection of freshly made donuts ready. Friendly staff answered all of our questions. Very reasonable prices, and the coffee was good as well. Check it out!

My boyfriend and I quite enjoyed our visit. I was really…read morecraving a fresh flavorful, savory croissant, and this fulfilled my craving. I opted for the Ham and cheese croissant, and the sausage croissant. Both breading was fantastic. Good flavor, airy yet crispy, just really well made. I will definitely come back for the ham and cheese croissant. The sausage croissant wasn't really for me (the bread was) it truly is a big sausage in there. It had good flavor, just isn't for me. If they could make just a plain cheese or bacon and cheese that would hit the spot lol We also got their regular cinnamon roll. The breading had a lovely sweet cinnamon flavor and the icing on top had a delicious creamy taste without being overly sweet. The odd part for us was the filling in the inside. I couldn't decide if I cared for it or not, I was almost feeling it was pushing the sweetness over just a bit so l may or may not get that again. Even tho they have seating inside, it feels more like a grab and go. You can def enjoy your item there. But I wouldn't say a spot where you can sit and catch up with a Friend or read a book. It also felt a bit too warm and stuffy so cranking down the AC a bit would help it feel more inviting especially from coming outside from the Arizona heat. I like to enjoy a warm beverage with my dessert and I couldn't imagine doing it in there. We opted to eat in our car Service was friendly and patient. We arrived on a Saturday around 1130 am and their was plenty of items available Can't wait to come back

My friend and I enjoyed an afternoon tea at the lovely Elysian Fields, and... wow…read more Be still, my little French heart. Elysian Fields is the most charming European-style artisan bakery, it sells everything from floral shortbreads and Victorian buttermints to handcrafted perfumes distilled from blooms grown in their own garden. But, back to that afternoon tea. Treats made from scratch, a ridiculously wide selection of teas from Mark T. Wendell Tea Company (America's oldest tea house), and everything presented so beautifully. From the food and tea to the gorgeous presentation and impeccable service, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. And seriously, the people at the bakery were SO nice. The lady who took my reservation was really friendly, patient with all my questions, and helpful. Once we arrived, everyone we interacted with was really sweet and made us feel welcome. If you're looking for a whimsical afternoon tea where the food actually tastes as good as it looks, this place is an absolute gem. Also, come hungry. My friend and I skipped breakfast and came around lunch time and we still EACH left with two boxes full of leftovers. They are very generous with the food. One more thing - the afternoon tea is not a one-size-fits-all. You get to pick from a bunch of choices what you want to eat, and what tea you want to drink. They also cater to most dietary restrictions (Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, and Nut-Free) as long as you let them know in advance. By that, I do not mean that they prepare the sandwiches and simply remove the meat if you're a vegetarian like me. I had my very own sandwiches, and they were delicious. And last but not least, you can also the order to go if you'd rather host an afternoon tea at home (but, let's face it, it's more fun on site, and they have all the pretty dishes and whatnot!) And if you aren't interested in tea but just want to buy baked goods, dainty little items, or other treats, the shop has a lot to offer. This is a business I'm really happy to endorse!

Whatever else happened during that visit, those cookies were a VERY good introduction to the bakery. I have not actually been into Rise Up Bakery myself, so this review is based entirely on the delightful and delectable cookies I got to try. There was a sugar cookie, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, M&M, and several others. I started by pinching off a little piece of one, then another, and then another. Before long I felt like such a little piggy because I had sampled nearly every cookie in the box. The problem was that every time I tried a new one, it was just as good, if not better, than the one before it. I kept thinking I had found my favorite, only to change my mind with the next bite. And these cookies were BIG hoggers too, probably around 6 inches across. These are not little dainty cookies you mindlessly nibble on. They have some size to them, and thankfully the flavor matches. So while I can't review the bakery itself, the atmosphere, or the service just yet, I can absolutely review the cookies. Based on those alone, Rise Up Bakery has definitely gotten my attention. Four stars for now, and mostly because I feel like I need to actually visit the bakery before handing over the fifth.

Now where do you get creative flavor combos like this?? This is my fave thing. When there's a lot of flavors. Pure and simple flavors are good sometimes, but sometimes when all the right notes hit in a complex flavor combo. That's one beautiful symphony. Tous Le Jours does a beautiful job of hitting all the right notes. Their pastries are soft, not too sweet (just right), and baked fresh. So fresh that they do BOGO every night because they go stale fast unlike other places. Look for places that offload their goods daily like this. That means they prioritize freshness!
