The restaurant is in the corner of a parking lot that many park in to go parasailing, scuba diving or jet sking. A perfect place to grab a sandwich after an exciting morning. It's a Key West style order at the window type of place which is great when everyone is in a bathing suit and really hungry. The Conch Sandwich was huge and incredible. The picture doesn't give it justice to the size and how delicious it was. I've lived in Florida half my life and fished for Grouper many of those years and this might be the best fried Grouper sandwich I've ever eaten. My son enjoyed the Conch Fritters and his twin brother inhaled the mahi mahi sandwich. The land lover of the group finished his burger before everyone else was even close to being done. Another great local restaurant to eat one of the best of not the best sandwiches in Key West. Support the local family owned business especially while recovering from this time in our lives. Sadly I had not been back in years and I finally returned recently.... They place still has shock value from the outside since it still looks like junk stacked up for the trash truck to pick up but that's only at first glance. once you get close it starts to make sense and has a totally key west vibe; laid back and come as you are. In the middle of the "organized trash" there is a food truck/trailer in the middle and the guys are still welcoming as they have always been. Not overly excited but laid back just like the restaurant. Last review of this place I said I would not share again, I lied. I wanted to try different things so my hubby and I ordered our favorite things we used to get and shared it all. The Fish sandwich was awesome. The Soft Shell Crab sandwich was even better. Came here for one thing, the cracked conch sandwich. It was the first time I really had conch, and I really enjoyed it. It kind of tasted like squid in how chewy it was, and because many places batter and fry it, I presume eating it "naked" is a bit of a challenge. The sandwich here was about 15 bucks, which wasn't cheap. However, it was decently sized and after a long day of walking in key west, it was delicious. How can BO's Fish Wagon, a place I've been to for over 30 years still be a secret? BO's might not look like much but it is the perfect place for lunch or dinner when in town. I've enjoyed this open air little piece of Key West heaven for so long that it is one of the few must-go's anytime me or my family is in town. Do not judge a book by its cover - BO's is as legitimate an option as the Pepe's diner down the street, or Mason de Pepe on Mallory's Square - both of which I do recommend, after BO's. Unfortunately sometime in recent years they lost their alcohol license but I have to say it is super cool that they suggest you just BYOB to go along with your dinner. Their fried conch is killer. Their various grilled fish plates, also yes. Yes to everything BO's does. Do yourself a favor and go have one of the most delicious yet uniquely old school Key West experiences you can have and head down to BO's Fish Wagon. They tend to have super friendly staff as well, who tend to find you to bring your food out to your table and ask whatever else they can do for you at that time. I got the conch fritters (17.95$) and the scuzzy fries which was 7.97 plus a presidente beer for 5.45. Overall it was okay the fritters had alot of breading but you could taste the conch. This hole-in-the-wall fish wagon has some pretty good grub. I ordered their conch fritters and they were chunky delights of conch, but it was BO's onion rings that were truly out of this world. Their onion rings were crispy and crunch with a somewhat sweet flavor. BO's open air decor is kitschy cool, and certainly amusing. However, it can get hot at Bo's, so saddle up with a cool drink. This was a late lunch/early dinner on my last full day in Key West and it honestly might've been my favorite one of the trip. When you hear the words "fish wagon" you might actually think you'll be walking up to some fishy street cart. Think again. B.O.'s takes the idea of a food truck and turns it on its head. Yeah, there's sort of a vehicle that sort of houses the actual food making, but surrounding it, well it's almost hard to describe. It's like a boatyard, a treehouse, and a junkyard had a wild party and B.O.'s is the leftovers. In no way do I say that as a negative. Instead, consider this odd combination as a truly original and unique experience. What else will you experience? Delicious grub. Fish sandwiches are the way to go and one of my coworkers strongly suggested the fried grouper sandwich. I'm a novice on this type of fish, but from the sights and smells, things didn't seem like they could go wrong (they didn't). Before we get to the handheld, let me mention the happy hour special they were rockin'. Buy one get one free on their drinks with a few Florida craft beers available. The employees were also super chill as the one woman who took our order said just come back up whenever and bring the bottle cap for your second round. Gotta love the laid back Keys. And now, an ode to the grouper sandwich. Oh grouper, how I love thee! Let me count the bites. Wait, where'd it go? Seriously, this piece of fish was perfectly breaded and crisp. Each mouthful was hot and packed with flavor, receiving plenty of complimentary tastes from the lettuce, tomato, and key lime mayo. I was in eighth heaven (I made up another level just to emphasize the awesomeness). Let's not forget about the super fresh cut fries that rounded out a delicious moment I would love to relive...like right now. I cannot believe I haven't reviewed them before. The bf and I accidentally stumbled upon Bo's after grabbing coffee at The Cuban Coffee Queen back in 2016. Hands downs, the best fish tacos we have ever had! It's on the corner of Caroline Street and William Street. It looks exactly as the name states, a shack. There are rouge chickens roaming, and the restaurant has a bottle of "chicken squirters" in case you have a fear of chickens. The first trip we had the fish tacos, the mahi sandwich and their conch fritters. The second trip, we again had fish tacos and conch fritters, and I chose the fried mahi.
