The food is disgusting. The place is dirty. The service is so slow. And it's just ugly in there. If I could give 0 stars I would

Visited twice before reviewing...food is just OK. Kitchen is painfully slow, which is odd since the menu is actually pretty limited.

We recently hosted a retirement party for my boss here, and from start to finish the experience was outstanding. Wayne and Amy were incredible to work with while planning everything--they helped coordinate the setup, worked with us on catering appetizers, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. They even accommodated us bringing in our own cake, which was a huge plus. They gave us a large dedicated section for our group, and everything ran seamlessly all night. The food and drinks were fantastic across the board--everyone in our party was raving. The pretzel bites with beer cheese were a big hit, and the pulled pork nacho bar for appetizers was next level. People kept going back for more and talking about it all night. But the real standout of the evening was our waitress, Karissa. She was an absolute rockstar. We had a large group with individual tabs for everyone, and she kept everything perfectly organized without missing a beat. Drinks were always full, food came out quickly, and no one was left waiting or confused. Whatever system she was running behind the scenes--it worked flawlessly. It's not easy to keep a big group happy, and she made it look effortless. Whether you're going for a casual dinner or planning a large event, this is a place that knows how to take care of people. Highly recommend.

Started off with the Saugatuck Blueberry and Lemonade shandy, very tasty and smooth, if not looking for something heavy this is a great choice. The fresh cut fries are thin but great taste but not to salty. We also got the Pulled Pork nachos which had great tasting pork and sour cream with some bbq drizzle as well, it was the best appetizer we had. The pretzel was solid and the hummus and veggies is what you would expect but felt like an afterthought as the hummus didn't have any taste. The wait staff was engaged and attentive. For a brewery/pub it has a lot to offer with an upbeat atmosphere. I recommend checking them out!

After the shareable alone, I knew I'd be adding Cooper's Hawk as one of my favorite brunch spots as well! As always, the whole team at Cooper's Hawk go out of their way to give you the best possible experience, and they always have the best recommendations! The Applewood Smoked Bacon Pizza is by far the absolute best breakfast pizza I've ever had! I'm a big pesto fan & the fresh slightly acidic bursts from the oven roasted tomatoes when you take a bite is awesome! One of my go-to's if dining out for breakfast is a scramble or hash; the smoked brisket hash is a MUST! It's extra cheesy & the smoked brisket alone is unreal!! If you like breakfast on the sweeter side, the Hawaiian Bread French Toast is a great pick! I love all the berries & the berry sauce with it! You have to try it all!!

We had a reservation for 6pm and the lobby area was already packed on a Saturday. If you're familiar with the Cooper's Hawk chain, it's about wine, a cool, mostly upscale casual ambiance and generally great food. Upon entering, there is a long bar for wine tasting and also opportunities to purchase wine-related decanters, glasses and (of course!) wine! We buzzed straight through that area to check in for our reservation. And I definitely recommend a reservation unless you want to hang out for a while tasting various wines before being seated. Anyway, our reserved booth was ready right on time and was very comfortable. The restaurant was pretty busy and yet we were promptly greeted by Dante' our server. He brought us each two complimentary wine tastings before taking our wine order. He also answered questions about the menu and brought us hot pretzel bread. The atmosphere in the restaurant was on the loud side because it was so busy and at times it was difficult to hear Dante' or to converse in general. We didn't order appetizers because we knew the entrees would be substantial. In the current economy, it wasn't surprising to see that prices had definitely increased since the last visit. A glass of wine was $11 for house wine and entree's ranged in price based on whatever you chose to order. My friend ordered the Chicken Madeira, which came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I ordered the Ellie's Chicken Piccata with pasta, which I've enjoyed on past visits, and also added a side of asparagus. Both my friend and I enjoyed our first couple of bites. My friend found that the sauce became overwhelmingly sweet on the Chicken Madeira. I found that my entrée had way too much lemon sauce, although the chicken was perfectly cooked and tender. It was rather disappointing since I remember this entree being amazing in the past. It wasn't anything bad but too much sauce was simply too much and detracted from the meal. If I ordered it again, I would request light sauce, but that's definitely a hypothetical if... I probably would order the salmon dinner. However, I'm not really in any hurry to return. Dante' did a great job as our server and allowed us to linger as we continued to catch up with each other's lives. I would recommend this restaurant with the caveat that a Saturday night would likely be very busy in the dining room and the kitchen. Check out pictures below.

We were hoping to find a place that wasn't packed with no direct view of the game. Sidelines Sports Eatery of Sylvania has many TVs available and fortunately for us, we were seated at a booth with TVs showing the Buckeyes vs Texas game in front and behind us. Yay! We ordered the Steak Bites and Apple Feta Chicken Salad. Steak Bites were perfectly prepared (ordered medium rare) and nicely seasoned. The Apple Feta Chicken Salad was delicious and chicken was plentiful. Our server was very attentive and quite knowledgeable of the menu selections. Even though most patrons were Buckeyes fans, the noise level was not loud by any means. Great place to watch the Ohio State game and especially watch the Buckeyes take down the #1 ranked Longhorns!

Nothing to write home about and nothing to go out of your way to seek out. The atmosphere is fun and super kid friendly. Strike that, it's way-way-way too kid friendly for a weekend brunch and unfortunately, lots of parents have figured that out. If you're cool with kids running all around your table while you're trying to eat poorly cooked food, cool. Me? Not so much... Service was friendly but the joint was severely understaffed.

So this is "Toledo's Barcade?" Really? Well, we can do better. We can do a shitload better…read more First the positives: the food, the beer, the service, and the atmosphere. The food is very good; it's from Bar 145 next door...build-it-yourself burgers, specialty burgers, creative and tasty appetizers, soups, etc...it's all here. There's also a abbreviated, "late-night" version of the menu that still includes pretty good options. The beer selection is excellent, and the self serve, pay-by-the-ounce-taps are a great idea. The service is hit or miss, but it's usually pretty good. Also, Reset now allows kids to come in before 7pm, (and later if they're not too busy). The atmosphere is fun, nostalgic and very "80s oriented." So far, so good, right? WRONG...the main reason to come here, is the retro gaming, and the gaming sucks. It sucks ass. There are relatively few games, and the games that are present are pretty standard stuff. But the real problem is that almost every game is in shitty condition, and, they seem to be getting shittier by the week. They're set on free play? So what. I'd think that the cost of the games is built into the price of the food/alcohol. Besides, if the games are "unplayable," (that's only a slight exaggeration), then they might as well not be there. Rather than walk away from a free game that, frustratingly, malfunctions, I'd prefer to pay a quarter and actually play! In order to be a viable entertainment option (especially for adults who appreciate retro-gaming), Reset really needs to pump a little money into their games. The way it is currently, I don't think there is any reason to come to the arcade side of the operation. Eat at Bar 145, and then go elsewhere.

I hadn't realized before that there is a large room to the right of the bar area. We were there for a somewhat early dinner at 6pm on a Saturday and the place was bustling! Definitely make a reservation. (I used Open Table online two or three weeks in advance and it was very easy.) We were greeted shortly after being seated and our server advised us of the special entrees after taking our drink orders. We decided to split the roasted beet salad which also came with herbed goat cheese. Our server brought the salad on two plates- already divided. The salad was absolutely amazing!! I am seriously still craving it and the portion was so large that I couldn't even finish my half. Our server promptly boxed it up before our entrees were served. For the main course, I ordered one of the specials- scallops with rice sauteed with spinach. My friend had pork roast with carrots, which was a large portion - no complaints and she took home leftovers for another meal. I'll speak to my scallops... They were perfectly prepared, but there were only three scallops and a plentiful serving of rice and spinach. I love spinach and this side was very well seasoned. It didn't take long to eat the three scallops and the spinach pieces in the rice. I definitely enjoyed my meal, but wished for even one more scallop. Since my entree was a special that was verbally announced, I didn't know the price until I saw the bill. While it was delicious, I found the $41 charge a bit steep. The Standard is exceptional in almost every way- service was impeccable, amazing food, lovely ambiance- but be prepared for a pricey evening. My friend and I had a very enjoyable time and I definitely recommend this restaurant. I will say, however, that it can be difficult to talk because it is so busy. That said, it's popular for a reason! Check out the photos below for a virtual experience.

I personally like to see it on paper so I can view ingredients but Im going with the flow. The service is a stand out here. Started with garlic bread bites. Server indicated there is a light blue cheese drizzle that they actually drizzle at the table. Neither of us are big fans of blue cheese and made sure to tell her when she started. She said its very mild n not overpowering. It was not mild n it was overpowering. I love love bread n I only ate one square. French onion soup was good per the man. I wanted the chicken special but when I said Ididn't care for peppers the server said she didn't recommend it then. Not sure why peppers couldn't be removed? but I took her advice and chose shrimp instead. Shrimp n mashed potatoes for me. Lamb chops n some type of potatoes for him. It was fine. At the price point($200 for 2) I was expecting more than fine. They did bring him a bday dessert but as she stated they don't sing happy birthday. Ok then. Stashed the leftovers in the car and went next door for beers n bday shots. More my speed. I would come back if its someone else's choice
