You can find 800 Degrees in the east end of the strip mall behind the Starbucks/across Lima from Walmart. It's a large and open restaurant with a small bar area. There is a smaller patio for your outside dining option. They have a similar menu and pricing compared to other places like them. We find their salads to be very tasty and consistent. The team here is always friendly and hustled to serve you. The free warm/soft chocolate chip cookies found at the bar are a nice parting gift. In this occasion we ordered a 12 inch Supremo pizza for $17.85. The flour tasting crust is soft on the inside with crispy wood fired texture on the edges. The bottom is firmer without being crunchy. The toppings are fresh. The mushrooms, green peppers and onions have a slight crunch. The pepperoni and sausage have nice meat flavors and a hit of spiciness. Not much cheese. The tomato sauce definitely has a bolder tomato taste. Though the sauce is not applied very thick or plentiful. Cold Pizza Test - the crust got a little more firm and chewy, but not overbearingly. The pizzas are literally half the size of their standard Neopolitan pizzas along with a $4.00 up-charge for GF, totaling $51 for carry-out (just two tiny skimpily topped pizzas, nothing else)... This is a joke right? While the pizzas were good (not as good as their Neopolitan), $51 is laughable and frankly insulting. Wow, this is some "bold" customer price gouging and should piss-off anyone that orders their GF pizza... Albeit I wouldn't expect anything less coming from the guy that treats his customers like ill repute. Needless to say, we are officially done with 800 Degrees... From bad customer treatment to getting bent by over like a cheap Vegas hooker via price gouging, 800 Degrees and its pompous owner can get bent. This is such a travesty because 800 Degrees is an outstanding pizzeria, but there are other solid pizzerias in Fort Wayne that deserve our business because they don't do either of the above. I arrived right at 4:00 p.m. and initially had the restaurant to myself, which always makes me a little nervous. My concerns quickly disappeared, though, as others began filtering in. My waiter, Derek, was amazing. He was friendly and outgoing and immediately made me feel welcomed. His enthusiasm for the food was evident as he explained the menu and answered my questions. I started with a blueberry-pineapple margarita, a combination I don't think I've ever had before. It had a nice tartness that really brought out both flavors, although it is definitely on the sweeter side. While I waited, Derek brought me a sample of their homemade tortilla chips with house seasoning. The chips were fresh and crisp, but the seasoning was what really got my attention. I swear I detected a hint of mango that made me feel as though I should be sitting on a Caribbean beach instead of along Dupont Road. I ordered the Texican and Korean Beef tacos. The Texican had a wonderful Tex-Mex flavor with just enough heat without leaving one scalded. The Korean Beef was phenomenal, with marinated beef, quick kimchi, cilantro and green onion on a soft homemade corn tortilla. I'm sure the look of satisfaction was apparent to everyone seated near me. I honestly couldn't tell you which taco I enjoyed more. The restaurant was bright, fresh, clean and inviting. Between the terrific food and Derek's outstanding service, I'm very glad my Google search led me to SOLBIRD. If you enjoy getting away from the familiar chains and trying someplace a little different, give them a try. I know I'll be back.

Similar to the Mexican fast-casual, you do down the assembly line, starting with what type of food item you want (tacos, burrito, a bowl, salad, etc) and add your proteins and veggies and sauces and assorted toppings as you go down the line. You've been to these places before. One of the things that stand out for me is the variety of items available. Yes, they've got chicken and beef and barbacoa, but they also have chimichurri chicken, which is an absolute stand-out item. If you're unfamiliar with chimichurri, it's chicken that's typically sautéed with finely chopped parsley, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano and red wine vinegar. That leads to a very green colour, but the taste is (insert chef's kiss here). I typically get mine in bowl but vary the toppings over time. As you go down the line and add your toppings you're basically creating your own meal. At the end of the line you're handed your meal on a tray and each order comes with a small bag of freshly made chips and you can chose from any one of about ten different types of salsa. I've tried most of them, my favorite being the tomatillo because it tastes so fresh, but they're all made fresh in store and each has its own distinct flavor. We've been to this location a number of time and the service has always been awesome and the facility has been very clean. They do a great job of keeping the dining room clean. In a world of QDoba, Moe's, Chipotle, and Salsarita, I'd take Salsa Grille over all of them. If I had the means I'd bring a Salsa Grille franchise to Louisville.
