Miso soup....good
Steve H.

We were looking for a good lunch so we didn't have to cook dinner...lol!! We stumbled on this little joint on the North side. A bright yellow interior was spick and span but with no ambiance. They took our order at the counter which was before a wall displaying the offering including pictures of each. I chose the pork belly with vegetables....incredible! My wife ordered the chicken which she really enjoyed. The soup, rice, yum yum sauce were fresh and "Yummy"... A bit pricey but delicious!

Strawberry Matcha Latte
Paigelyn S.

Excellent food, drinks, and service. If I wasn't placing an order for carry out I would have stayed and dined in because the interior is so so cute and clean. I got the strawberry matcha latte and the teriyaki chicken bento box. The bento box was a 8.5/10 with the fried rice being my favorite part. The real star of show was the matcha latte, which I would give a solid 9.5/10. The only thing I would change is the straw/cup to be a little smaller instead of the standard bubble tea. Matcha is hard to perfect and blend cohesively, so there are very places I will order it from in FW. However, theirs was creamy, incredibly smooth, and not too overly sweet even with the fresh strawberry puree. This is truly a hidden gem in FW. If you ever in the mood for milk tea, hibachi, or even fresh lemonade, I cannot recommend this spot enough. So happy I stumbled upon this place while I was out :)

Rough night at Tokyo Dragon last night. The food was good as always. No issues there. The place…read morewas still clean and in good repair. Tonight was a busier night when we got there. Their operation model is to have ONE waitress to serve the whole area and have the hostess help. Pia, the waitress, did her best to try and stay organized and hustle. She is very skilled at using the phrase "sorry for the delay". I think we heard that five times this visit. This model worked when business was slow to moderate. It worked with a veteran waitress like Vina. Not on a busy night with an inexperienced waitress like Pia. All this caused: reminding the waitress to get our appetizer, having to go get plates and chop sticks while our appetizer got cold, often wait on refills, long delay in entrees to arrive, long wait to get the check returned. Tokyo Dragon...you can do better!

Stopped in for lunch after church. First time being here. Atmosphere is clean but ambiance a bit…read moresparse. Music volume was kinda loud. Our server, Cassie, was welcoming and attentive. Worked hard and efficiently, all with a smile. Lunch menu offers choice of entree with egg drop or hot and sour soup, steamed or fried rice, and egg roll or crab rangoon, all $9.95-$10.55. Portions were very generous! The hot and sour soup was the most unique we've ever had. Delicious! Loaded with tiny enoki mushrooms, a few thin strips of seaweed, tofu, etc. it has a slight earthy flavor, which grew on us as we ate it. Very complex! Hubs got sesame chicken. I got Mongolian Beef, each wth fried rice. Both are pictured below and were tasty! Tasty enough to order again on another visit.

We came to Koto Japanese Steakhouse for the hibachi experience, and it definitely didn't…read moredisappoint. The restaurant has that classic hibachi atmosphere, the sound of the grills going, and every table gathered around watching the chefs cook right in front of you. There's always something happening, whether it's the flames, the knife tricks, or everyone laughing together. It makes dinner feel more like an experience than just a meal. Our server was super friendly, and our chef was just as great, keeping everyone entertained while cooking. The whole presentation was exactly what I was hoping for, but the real star of the night was the ribeye steak. It was cooked to a perfect medium, with a warm pink center that kept every bite incredibly juicy and tender. The outside had a nice sear, while the inside stayed buttery soft. As the chef cooked it on the flat top, the seasoning and soy sauce caramelized around the meat, creating this rich, savory flavor that coated every bite. It had just the right balance of salt, garlic, butter, and that signature hibachi flavor that keeps you reaching for another piece. The whole experience was a lot of fun, but that ribeye is the reason I'd come back.

Grabbed Koto carry for lunch…read more.. First time having Koto and it was solid... Not as good and authentic as we were told about, but still respectable. They give you a ton of food for the price and their miso soup was excellent (definitely the best part). The Hibachi was tender and well seasoned/flavored, but not the best we've had in town. We'd probably order carry out again, but we do prefer Sakura, Umi, or Kyoto for dine in... Still good/solid Japanese however.

The sushi is fantastic. The Thai food, not so much. Just stick with the sushi here…read more The service is good, and the place is beautiful. It's a good date night spot. Thai Tea - $ 3 - This wasn't very good. It didn't really taste like Thai Tea. 0/5 stars. Spring Roll - $7 - This we got I think on a Wednesday night, because if you spent so much money you get a free spring roll appetizer. It was ok, but I wouldn't have paid money for it. 3/5 stars. Vegetables and Tofu $14, Chicken $16, Beef $17, and Shrimp $18 We had the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Pad See-Ew. The Pad Thai had the best flavor, and then the Pad See-Ew, and I really can't recommend the Drunken Noodles. We got the Drunken Noodles medium spicy and the other two mild, but I couldn't taste any spice in them. I really wouldn't recommend getting the noodles here, but if you had to pick one, get the Pad Thai. Now for the good part, the sushi! Now, I was planning on trying everything and just making a giant list of what's so good, but I apologize, there's so many good ones that I just forgot my nit picking on certain rolls. You really can't go wrong with any of the rolls. I haven't had a bad one yet. I'm going to list all the rolls I've had, but really, just pick your favorite fish and I'm sure it'll be good. Nori Angel Hiroshima Kobe Black Panther Moon Fire - This is fun show, and it gives a yummy fire taste. Dupont Red Dragon White Dragon Nagasaki American Dream Hamachi Fiesta Indiana Beach Fresh, fried, doesn't matter, all of them are good. They give you soy sauce, but you really don't need it with any of the rolls. Tempura Cheesecake - $8 - This was fantastic. This was free for my birthday lunch, and I was so happy with this. I'd pay money for this. 5/5 stars. Go here for the sushi and the Tempura Cheesecake! We stuff ourselves with so much sushi that we don't leave room for dessert, but I really should get that cheesecake again. Go here!

Your finished dish will arrive in a clean new bowl. I liked my choice, especially the lo mein noodles, egg and mushrooms. Everything was cooked perfectly, and brought to the table nice and hot. Forks are provided if chopsticks aren't your thing. It was busy at lunchtime, but we were seated and served right away. Slightly loud and bustling, but fine. Better than dead!
