The best pho I had ever tasted and the service was great too. Looking forward to visit again

Wow, it's been five years since I wrote my previous review. Looking at the menu I noticed that the prices have jumped significantly since my first visit to this location. The mixed pho is now 1699 compared to the original price five years ago. Overall, their soup base is rich and not too sweet. I feel that they include the right amount of protein with the noodles. Service is good but sometimes slow. I would check your receipt to see if they automatically tack on the tip. I believe that the menu said all orders had an 18% tip however when I checked my bill, it did not seem to include that so I still gave my obligatory 20% tip. If they did not disclose that the tips was included I definitely would not pay over. read more

Went for a bowl of pho - the service and food were decent. Very fast and friendly staff. The basil and bean spouts were on the sparse side. The pho flavor was good, I had the dac biet - it was good. The major issue was the spoon I was given had stickiness the from a sticker. Happy the restaurant is replacing spoons but this spoon, I asked for a new spoon. I received a new spoon. All good on the second time around. Interior is clean and the bathroom was spotless. read more

I wasn't expecting much when we came here, but I have to admit this place has pretty respectable Pho. The broth is different than I've had before, but I like it. If this restaurant was in my old neighborhood, I don't think they would survive . But I will certainly come here whenever I'm in Fort Wayne. read more

Very good food that tastes fresh. The service isn't fast, but was friendly. I really like their wok cooked beef noodle bowl. Crab Rangoons were good too! My son loved the beef pho too. I've been a few times and would recommend. read more

The beef pho (pho tai) tastes good and authentic. Best pho in the area. Reminds me of Pho back home from Little Saigon in Cali. Unfortunately Vietnamese food should not cost this much. The cost of living is affordable in Fort Wayne here, but the prices on the menu are outrageous. Pho and banh mi are usually half the price they charge. The ambiance is nicer - they tried to go for a fine dining experience. Overall the food was great and we had no issues. Service was okay and the employee spoke Vietnamese with me. I would absolutely give this spot 5 stars, but the prices are high. read more

Pho Indy has great goi cuon and the best Banh mi ever. Their pho is pretty good, but their bún is okay. I definitely recommend trying their house special wings! They're full of flavor and are super crunchy. The service is usually slow, but they do help box up your food. The restaurant is a bit dark, but clean. It's been a long time since I've been back. I've heard mixed reviews so I thought we would give it a try. We went on a busy Friday night. The place was filled and doing a decent carry out business. In the past visits to Pho Indy...they were never this busy. Good for them!! The facility hasn't changed but still clean and organized. The hostess wasn't very friendly - perhaps because she was overwhelmed. The waitress was not very attentive - overwhelmed again or short handed. The waitress also seemed under skilled to serve customers professionally. She was okay at taking orders. Not good at refills, delivering all our food items (we had to reminder her of things she forgot) nor explaining things on the menu or the sauces she delivered. As for the good...I thought, overall, it was good and tasted like you would expect from a Pho place. Though...nothing exceptional. The spring rolls are delicious and fresh. Plenty of filling. The peanut sauce is very thin and doesn't have a strong peanut taste. It almost had the consistency of soy sauce. I prefer a thicker sauce with a predominant peanut taste. The crab Rangoon was very good. The filling was very creamy and plentiful. The wrapper was fairly large and fried to a slight crisp without being too greasy. My C4 was solid. The beef was tender without much seasoning to taste. The rice was cooked to perfection. The side of cucumber and tomato was nice and crisp. The soup had a nice warm and slightly spiced flavor. I'm not a Pho aficionado so I'm nit versus at sauces to accent my dish. I thought it was very strange that we had five sauces at the table but only one had a label. Overall...Pho Indy is a good choice. I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you are needing a Pho fix. On this occasion...I didn't think they showed their best. read more

Uyen didn't speak much English and my Vietnamese is really rusty but she was delightful. The service was great and Uyen was attentive. The decor was definitely Vietnamese and the dining room was immaculate. Our Crab Rangoon was the best! They sent out another when we smacked our lips and oh and awed. The beef pho was excellent filled with sprouts, rib eye, meat balls, tripe and noodles! My wife ordered chicken pho and gave it two thumbs up. Don't miss this spot....the menu is huge!!!! read more

The atmosphere was amazing, definitely my favorite part. The waitress was really nice and gave us free cups of water without us even having to ask. They were also very patient while we figured out what we were going to order. The food portions were huge for the price. The rangoon was $5 and you get 2 huge pieces. One bowl of pho was $15 and the portion was so big we couldn't finish it. I definitely recommend getting one bowl and sharing. Extra bowls are provided if wanted. I got a noodle dish that was very tasty. It had chicken and lots of bean sprouts, lettuce and other assorted veggies. It came with two sauces on the side that seemed to be fish sauce based, but I wasn't sure what any of them were. If they could explain when they drop it off at the table that would have been very helpful! I also got the meat egg rolls which were to my surprise mostly meat on the inside! They were ok, not my cup of tea personally. I came at lunch and they had quite a few tables full, but the server kept up pretty well. There are several places in Fort Wayne to get pho. This is the BEST!!! Oh man. It's just so good!! Don't get me wrong, I've yet to run into a bad bowl of pho in Fort Wayne. But this place takes the cake!! The service is great as well. Very friendly. I'm sure the rest of the food is good too. But I love the pho too much to be able to try anything else! Great interior and friendly staff with helpful suggestions on the menu and what sauce or other toppings to add to your dish I ordered the pork chops over rice with cucumbers and tomatoes on the side and a pickled cabbage dish that I was instructed to mix with my rice. Very tasty. My friend ordered one of the huge bowl of Pho soup that had a mixture of steak, meatballs and tripe his soup came with fresh toppings of lime, jalapeno and green and white onions and an order of shrimp fried rice. The shrimp fried rice had large shrimp and tons of rice. Both meals came with a small bowl of soup as well. It's a very family friendly restaurant. Yes, a five star again !! I did order the Beef Fried Rice this time. It was delicious. They give you a small bowl of cabbage salad and I always mix that with my food. This time though I also added the fried onions and hot peppers from the Garlic Chicken wings too. Can't let those little crispy yummies go to waste !! Lol. Husband loved everything. The Crab Rangoon, the Beef short Ribs , a bit chewy but very tasty and the Garlic Chicken Wings. He also ate a HUGE bowl of Chicken Pho. The waitress was fairly new, but very kind and did a great job waiting on us. The restaurant is always clean and well kept. Great owners, always a kind greeting and great food. Good food but the service is iffy and i say iffy because demanding for a tip is insane. Especially when you get there first order and wait 20-30 mins for 2 things while other families of 4-5 come in get their food before us. Had to check out the new Pho spot in town! You can find this gem tucked into the shopping plaza with JoAnn Fabrics off Coldwater road. There is a simple sign on the exterior, so it can easily be missed. The interior is nothing special with seating and simple decor. The staff greeted us with a smile and was very friendly. The service was a bit slow, but they were fairly busy over the lunch hour. The menu wasn't overly extensive, but had plenty of options! I decided to order the Pho Ga. The dish definitely had a different taste than most of the pho I've had before. It was sweet with a spicy kick. I really enjoyed it! I will definitely return to check out more options on the menu.
