    House Special Lo Mein.
    Natalie L.

This place was pretty good. It's no Bamboo Garden. More of your run of the mill Chinese spots. The house special lo mein was good. My husband got the Kung Pao chicken. He said it was just so so. LOTS more celery and green peppers than chicken. The crab Rangoon was DELICIOUS!!!! They were stuffed full. Great sweet and sour sauce. The egg rolls were really big, but mostly cabbage.

The Great Wall of China and the TV

I ordered on the phone. Not even after one ring, they pick up. Other restaurants, it will be like 5 rings!! Anyways, I order a General Tsos chicken combo meal, an order of crab Rangoon, and a shrimp egg roll. Im not kidding, they said a wait time of 5 minutes. Keep in mind, I'm ordering at 5:30, during dinner time. I didn't know whether to be concerned or not, but five minutes later, I drive over there, and they're taking a new customer like every minute! Talk about fast service! Anyways, the decorations were pretty nice, they had a big wall of China and a tv to keep people entertained. I pay for my order, $20.47, which isn't bad compared to other restaurant. I also added a Chinese drink to my order, something I think no other restaurant has. I get my order, give them like 9 quarters for homemade yum yum sauce and some other sauces. I take it home and let's see how good they are. Milk tea drink- 10/10 i loved it General Tsos chicken- 10/10 so good The two egg rolls- 11/10 i think these people are better than Gordon Ramsey The crab rangoon- 10/10 wow. The sauces I paid for- 10/10 so good Keep it going, China house, and you've got a new regular.

Stopped here for the first time and was excited when I saw the menu. Soup prices were a little more than other Chinese places I have visited that are like this but their lunch specials were far less pricey and more food. I ordered all three soups. Wonton, egg drop and hot and sour. All three were decent. The hot and sour wasn't sour at all but on the spicy side and chocked full of veggies but not many tofu squares. The wonton soup was a small size and came with three wontons. The meat was well prepared but the wonton wrappers were very soft and mushy. Egg drop soup was thick and bland. All three soups were served piping hot. Which I love. However the chicken lo mein lunch meal was fantastic. The chicken was tender and large pieces that are sautéed evenly with the noodles and veggies. Although there wasn't a ton of veggies in it. Which I was happy about. It came with rice and soup. I would have liked and an egg roll but for $5.75 it was fantastic and highly recommend. I love the lo mein sauce. Staff was super friendly and the dinning room was large and very clean. They have a cooler for drinks. They also have a fountain machine for soda. I didn't order a drink but the don't have water except for bottled I the cooler. I would come here again if I was in the area. I live 23' from here and that is a little to far. Recommend going for sure.

One of my favorite Chinese places in the fort. Take out is so quick, always accurate, and the people who run it are always super nice. And its not pricy at all.

Quick service. Hot, tasty food at fair prices. Portions enough for 2 meals. Wide selection allows everyone to get something they love.

There was one older woman at the cash register who was to seat guests, take money, get the to orders taken care of and answer the phone. The latter due to the volume of takeout orders took precedence over seating people standing in line who were ignored and there were empty tables. After almost 40 minutes of standing and a group of 8 who had reservations that the restaurant wasn't set up for-it was a mess and a bad experience for them...we were seated. We weren't waited on for awhile as there were only two people waiting tables bringing out one dish at a time to the tables. They put out a bowl of rice that sat before their food came. Customers were angry and two stood and complained loudly at the service...a woman waiting for carry out was there for two hours! We received our bland food, cold appetizers after 8pm. Some customers waited and then got up and left before their meals arrived. They ended up setting the party of 8 by the entrance door and bathroom...I'm not sure if my family would be returning or not when they are empty of customers. Our waiter kept complaining that the customers were complaining to us...

I had an enjoyable dining experience at this restaurant…read more For one, the food was terrific, and the menu was pretty extensive. I know I walked out of there extremely full, knowing I would return. However, the best part of the evening? It was undoubtedly the service that I received from my server. A mom of several kids, we talked about the challenges of balancing school and activity schedules with work hours required by her employer. In particular, we discussed one of her daughters, who is apparently an avid golfer despite the responsibilities of tending to her other tables. And she handled that with a smile and with grace. As I was in Ft. Wayne on a golf-related matter, I keyed in on this part of the conversation. Again, it was extremely friendly to meet someone so pleasant. Back to the food - again, it was excellent. And I will be honest, I ate more than I should have! The restaurant is in a small strip mall, but it is well-maintained at the time of my visit. For photos, I suggest that you Google the restaurant - there is an extensive selection. This also applies to the menu. Many, many choices, and they all look great.

Thai Tea - $ 3 - This wasn't very good. It didn't really taste like Thai Tea. 0/5 stars. Spring Roll - $7 - This we got I think on a Wednesday night, because if you spent so much money you get a free spring roll appetizer. It was ok, but I wouldn't have paid money for it. 3/5 stars. Vegetables and Tofu $14, Chicken $16, Beef $17, and Shrimp $18 We had the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Pad See-Ew. The Pad Thai had the best flavor, and then the Pad See-Ew, and I really can't recommend the Drunken Noodles. We got the Drunken Noodles medium spicy and the other two mild, but I couldn't taste any spice in them. I really wouldn't recommend getting the noodles here, but if you had to pick one, get the Pad Thai. Now for the good part, the sushi! Now, I was planning on trying everything and just making a giant list of what's so good, but I apologize, there's so many good ones that I just forgot my nit picking on certain rolls. You really can't go wrong with any of the rolls. I haven't had a bad one yet. I'm going to list all the rolls I've had, but really, just pick your favorite fish and I'm sure it'll be good. Nori Angel Hiroshima Kobe Black Panther Moon Fire - This is fun show, and it gives a yummy fire taste. Dupont Red Dragon White Dragon Nagasaki American Dream Hamachi Fiesta Indiana Beach Fresh, fried, doesn't matter, all of them are good. They give you soy sauce, but you really don't need it with any of the rolls. Tempura Cheesecake - $8 - This was fantastic. This was free for my birthday lunch, and I was so happy with this. I'd pay money for this. 5/5 stars. Go here for the sushi and the Tempura Cheesecake! We stuff ourselves with so much sushi that we don't leave room for dessert, but I really should get that cheesecake again. Go here!
