Just up street and around the corner from the Hilton this small but efficient Chinese restaurant has some great kung pao chicken and even Moo Shu chicken to choose from. Unlike most lunch specials I have consumed, Double Dragon gives you a choice of soup to go! Whether stopping in to pick up lunch or going for dinner the wait was never more than a few minutes. Highly recommended especially when trying to avoid the expensive hotel options!

Sesame Chicken House Special Lo Mein

I heard about this place from a friend, didn't have high expectations but this was some of the beat takeout i've had. I ordered orange chicken with fried rice, sesame chicken with lo mein & an order of Crab Rangoon, chicken was crispy and fresh and sauces were great with the right amount of spice! Fried rice was good, but nothing special, lo mein was some of the beat lo mein i've had, and you could tell noodles were fresh! Crab Rangoon was delicious & also fresh!

A small mom and pop takeout serving Chinese food at a fair price in Fort Wayne. Pretty good food and busy.

Can't find anything on this menu I don't love. If I got shot walking there for carry out I'd get the food before going to the hospital.

There was one older woman at the cash register who was to seat guests, take money, get the to orders taken care of and answer the phone. The latter due to the volume of takeout orders took precedence over seating people standing in line who were ignored and there were empty tables. After almost 40 minutes of standing and a group of 8 who had reservations that the restaurant wasn't set up for-it was a mess and a bad experience for them...we were seated. We weren't waited on for awhile as there were only two people waiting tables bringing out one dish at a time to the tables. They put out a bowl of rice that sat before their food came. Customers were angry and two stood and complained loudly at the service...a woman waiting for carry out was there for two hours! We received our bland food, cold appetizers after 8pm. Some customers waited and then got up and left before their meals arrived. They ended up setting the party of 8 by the entrance door and bathroom...I'm not sure if my family would be returning or not when they are empty of customers. Our waiter kept complaining that the customers were complaining to us...

Their main dishes are good and I always have enough for lunch the next day (especially if I order egg rolls, soup, and crab rangoon). Service is always very good. I had an enjoyable dining experience at this restaurant…read more For one, the food was terrific, and the menu was pretty extensive. I know I walked out of there extremely full, knowing I would return. However, the best part of the evening? It was undoubtedly the service that I received from my server. A mom of several kids, we talked about the challenges of balancing school and activity schedules with work hours required by her employer. In particular, we discussed one of her daughters, who is apparently an avid golfer despite the responsibilities of tending to her other tables. And she handled that with a smile and with grace. As I was in Ft. Wayne on a golf-related matter, I keyed in on this part of the conversation. Again, it was extremely friendly to meet someone so pleasant. Back to the food - again, it was excellent. And I will be honest, I ate more than I should have! The restaurant is in a small strip mall, but it is well-maintained at the time of my visit. For photos, I suggest that you Google the restaurant - there is an extensive selection. This also applies to the menu. Many, many choices, and they all look great.

The sushi is fantastic. The Thai food, not so much. Just stick with the sushi here…read more The service is good, and the place is beautiful. It's a good date night spot. Thai Tea - $ 3 - This wasn't very good. It didn't really taste like Thai Tea. 0/5 stars. Spring Roll - $7 - This we got I think on a Wednesday night, because if you spent so much money you get a free spring roll appetizer. It was ok, but I wouldn't have paid money for it. 3/5 stars. Vegetables and Tofu $14, Chicken $16, Beef $17, and Shrimp $18 We had the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Pad See-Ew. The Pad Thai had the best flavor, and then the Pad See-Ew, and I really can't recommend the Drunken Noodles. We got the Drunken Noodles medium spicy and the other two mild, but I couldn't taste any spice in them. I really wouldn't recommend getting the noodles here, but if you had to pick one, get the Pad Thai. Now for the good part, the sushi! Now, I was planning on trying everything and just making a giant list of what's so good, but I apologize, there's so many good ones that I just forgot my nit picking on certain rolls. You really can't go wrong with any of the rolls. I haven't had a bad one yet. I'm going to list all the rolls I've had, but really, just pick your favorite fish and I'm sure it'll be good. Nori Angel Hiroshima Kobe Black Panther Moon Fire - This is fun show, and it gives a yummy fire taste. Dupont Red Dragon White Dragon Nagasaki American Dream Hamachi Fiesta Indiana Beach Fresh, fried, doesn't matter, all of them are good. They give you soy sauce, but you really don't need it with any of the rolls. Tempura Cheesecake - $8 - This was fantastic. This was free for my birthday lunch, and I was so happy with this. I'd pay money for this. 5/5 stars. Go here for the sushi and the Tempura Cheesecake! We stuff ourselves with so much sushi that we don't leave room for dessert, but I really should get that cheesecake again. Go here!
