Came here on a Sunday and got their dinner entrée and they gave me a lot of food! Definitely coming back!

Before I do my review just want to give a fair warning because what I'm going to say might be disturbing to some of you. So I have given 11 years of my life and money to panda express. It was my go to restaurant for "Chinese" yeah I would go to buffets also but very rarely. In 2023 I decided to embark on a journey to leave that company behind me in the past. 11 years is a long time and it comes with its fair share of memories good and bad, the human mind can only take so much.... I had professional help also in making this decision and I have a group of 4 highly trained and respected doctors checking on me making sure I stay in the right path. I know that I can't continue like this for the rest of my life so I had to take a leap of faith. After much detailed research and looking at the reviews this restaurant had I was ready to place an order. And to take it easy on myself. all I ordered was beef and chicken entrees with white rice. When I was ready to pay I noticed that it was only a few more dollars then what I usually got at panda and the amount of food that I received was way more and I was instantly impressed and happy about that. The staff is very direct friendly and fast no BS included. After finishing my meal I felt like I was no longer holding the weight of the world on me the food had so much flavor. Meanwhile at the same time I had plenty of leftovers and supported a local business at the same time. Will definitely be returning to try out more of the menu and to continue my healing process. read more

Golden Wok - I love this place! - Chinese Near Me - Fort Wayne, Indiana

The lady is a bit rude. Great food, though. I've been here multiple times and will certainly come back.

This place is awesome. Food is so good. I would recommend the Chicken and Broccoli or general Tso's!!! Crab Rangoons too! read more

There's better Chinese food with much nicer service in this city... the chicken was over cooked and the lady up front was rude and when I heard ppl leaving someone said under their breath, " don't yell at your customers"... I felt that.. read more

Fairly priced and incredibly fast. The portion sizes are decent and I always have tasty leftovers!

I got a very nice size helping for such a good price! The food overall was good but they didn't have egg rolls ready and the spring rolls lacked flavor. read more

Who loves overstuffed crab Rangoon. That's Golden Wok. Also love the cashew chicken. The spring rolls are delightfully crispy and the hot and sour soup perfectly hot and perfectly sour. All in all a great and reasonably priced meal. read more

Love this place! Never been disappointed. Food is hot, service is great! I would recommend

Honestly the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The chicken was full of fat and basically all chestnuts. The staff waS incredibly rude as I asked for extra soy and the lady started giving me a dirty grin. read more

Service unmatched and straight to the point and I haven't been disappointed once which I feel like says a lot cause I've been coming here for almost 2 years now religiously and they always deliver with the flavor. A must try !! read more

WTH. I ordered over the phone. Husband went and picked it up. They got rude with him. We live around the corner. Go there all the time. This is not the first time they have been rude. Now my husband say he will NEVER go back. Not sure what was said but my husband was mad. Oh well. The food was good only part of the time anyway. read more

If you are not concerned about Covid this is the place for you. Not a single cook was wearing a mask or gloves which is mandated by the Board of Health. If they don't care enough to follow those simple guidelines what else are they ignoring???? And look around when you walk in..it is not clean at all and boxes are stacked everywhere. Not to mention the food was not good at all. Every dish I ordered was the exact same with a disgusting brown sauce...they just changed the meat in it. read more

Great take out Chinese restaurant. A few friends suggested this place and they did not fail me with their recommendation. We ordered a few different items - general tso (extra spicy, which wasn't very hot but good), chicken with broccoli (a little salty), Singapore mei fun (great flavor, not spicy), wonton soup (great broth and wonton) and hot and sour soup(not bad, but not a favorite). The women working the register added 2 egg rolls for free. $31 and could easily feed a family of 4-5 or dinner + a few lunches. It is a little out of the way for a North side of fort wayne resident, but we will be back. read more

Golden Wok - Hot and sour soup (top), wonton soup (bottom), Singapore mei fun, fried rice, general tos, chicken and broccoli - Chinese Near Me - Fort Wayne, Indiana

Check the specials to the right of the register. $1.99 for 3 egg rolls or crab Rangoon. My favorite place for take-out Chinese in Fort Wayne. The service is extremely fast, the staff is friendly, and food is cheap. The quality is on par with any other Chinese take out, and better than most. They cook everything perfectly, and the food is consistent. I go out of my way and pass 3 other take out places to get this one. Nothing extraordinary or out of place here, just good food, cheapest prices in Fort Wayne, and friendly staff. read more

There isn't much seating, but is great for carry out. The food never disappoints! Another must try places in the Fort!

I've been here many times and always had a pleasant experience. Mostly my family gets take out, but we have dined in a few times. However this last experience was a little lacking. Food is great as always, but in the middle of my order the nice lady started yelling at the kitchen staff in a different language. I was so uncomfortable I almost didn't finish my order, but I did. Like I said, delicious food. I recommend the shrimp lo mein with hot chili sauce! read more

Golden Wok - Address - Chinese Near Me - Fort Wayne, Indiana

Is this the best Chinese carryout place in the city? I would say YES. The beef dishes are especially recommended -- unlike many places, the beef is tender and done to perfection. Make sure to try the crab rangoon, which is absolutely delicious. read more

Great place to get your Chinese on. Just remember a few things. Do not order on the phone and expect it to be ready by the time you get there, they won't make your food until you get there. They worry you not show up and they won't love you long time then no sir. So make sure not to order on the phone. Make sure to be very clear on what you order they will make you what they want to make you if you are not CLEAR, and even then you might end up with something different than you ordered. Other then that this is a 5 star place, very good you eat here much love you long time. Check your food real good and if it's wrong they will yell at you long time. Very good place though I would give them 5 stars, but those 2 things hold it back from 5 stars. Great food, great shrimp re-fried rice , great crab Rangoon fresh food here. Me never got sick or had to poop right away so you know it's good. One of my favorite places. RE-REVIEW............................................................................................................. Ok lets fast forward to the present time. Food is about the same, but the portions on the goodies like shrimp have got skimpy, ordered shrimp and broccoli all I got was broccoli pretty much, asked for re-fried rice instead of white rice and got charged an arm an a leg for it. Probably won't be back. As much as I paid for this dinner $12 something, didn't get that many shrimp, use to get way more. Wasn't about to pay for extra or have any chest nuts added to my broccoli, not at the prices they are charging for upgrades these days. Will give Double Dragon a change next time around on Calhoun I believe. read more

Called in and placed a dinner order the lady was very rude VERY RUDE wouldn't give had to call back because she hung up before I was finished with my order. Picked up my order which was wrong gave me shrimp instead of chicken gave me one of my two egg rolls they bagged the food where the sauce spilled out so half was gone time we got home and they was so angry for fixing what they messed up. Worse experience ever we will never be conducting business with this establishment in the future. read more

CRAB RAGOONS ARE AMAZING. Family is sweet and they are very efficient when making their delicious meals

This place has the best spring rolls in town. Please don't change these!!! I will keep coming back over and over just for the spring rolls. The lo mein is also fire. read more

I live close by and their food is amazing! they remember my order and once in a while give free crab rangoon- also their crab rangoon is the best I've had. their prices are also affordable and it's a great place for comfort food read more

Great take out Chinese. Very fresh veggies and the fried rice is so good. I don't usually like fried rice because it can be so greasy but theirs isn't. We've tried the Hunan chicken which was terrific and not breaded and spicy. Kung pao and hot and sour soup was also delish. Keep up the great cooking! read more

Great food! At least what I have eaten so far is great. We have tried the won ton soup, chicken with broccoli, orange chicken, egg foo young, beef fried rice, and original fried rice. Everything tastes fresh and is served hot. I have never eaten at the restaurant. It is somewhat small but seems nice. The staff is also very friendly. LOVE this place! read more

I have been a pretty loyal customer here - great food, great portions, great service. My last visit ended with the lady chewing me out because she didn't understand that I asked for general tso's both on the phone and when I got there to pick it up and saw I had no general tso's. I think it's time to find a new Chinese place. read more

Our favorite Chinese restaurant. We always get take out, but they have some seating for dining in. The crab rangoon is the absolute best I've ever had. We tend to get the beef with broccoli, chicken with broccoli, or sesame beef. Always consistent, always flavorful, always filling. They don't skimp on the proteins in their dishes like some other Chinese places. If you're in the area, give it a try. 10-15 minute wait for the best Chinese food in town. read more

Delicioys! I had hot and sour soup, crab rangoon, and triple delight and it was seriously amazing! The hot and sour soup was the best I have EVER had!!!! I will definitely be back! read more

This is our favorite Chinese carry out. We've are in a few times but it doesn't seem they have very many eat in customers.

Golden Wok has recently become my go-to Chinese Restaurant in Fort Wayne. The food is always fresh, hot, and the service is vey fast. It is a traditional "American-Chinese" fast restaurant. There is enough room for about 15 people to sit, but most the seats are generally full with people waiting to take out. The building is fairly new and it is very clean inside and so is the kitchen area. Dinners come with 1 entree, fried rice, egg roll, and crab rangoon! There are so many options to choose from, so everyone in the family can find something they'll enjoy. I definitely recommend going is anyone is thinking Chinese. read more

I would give this restaurant zero stars if that was an option! Absolutely the worst shrimp fried rice! It was like brown rice was mixed with shrimp with no seasoning, eggs, or veggies. Will never go back. read more

I can't believe this place has good reviews. I am disappointed in yelp. I went into this restaurant and ordered hot and sour soup and Kung Pao chicken. I plainly told the young man taking my order no green peppers. I said it several times and he repeated it back to me, "no green peppers". I got my food back to my hotel and all in my food are green peppers. Ridiculous! And the last thing you want to do when you get 15 minutes away to your destination is turn around and drive back and have to wait for them to redo it. Complete let down. Check your order before you leave. Oh, and the soup is just average. read more

Wow! Crab Rangoon was outstanding and the large shrimp fried rice is enough to easily feed 6 people and it was teeming with shrimp. That was good! read more

the food was average. ive had panda express that tasted better. the sign on their door says voted best chinese in fort wayne. not on this day for sure read more
