They have truffles that you can buy at the front desk but they were very expensive in my opinion. I did not buy any. The sushi roll were good but huge. I was visiting for a truck driving training and needed a spot to eat that I could walk to, and I am blown away at the quality of Tchopstix. Not only is all the staff incredibly kind, thoughtful, and professional, the food is really wonderful! For lunch I had the Bibimbap, and when I came for dinner I had the chirashi bowl. The dimmed lighting makes this restaurant ambiance easy on the eyes. The sushi that we ate has exceptional presentation, taste and creativity. The quality of the food is great, and they have a grand drink selection! I definitely recommend the hot sake, especially in the cold Hoosier winter! All we ordered (pow pow thai shrimp, spring rolls, fresh salmon sashimi, tofu stir fry, and a very neat "quickly grilled" on the fire on your table 'playboy roll'-must try) was yummy. Shockingly good for a hotel parking lot restaurant. We sat at the bar and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Bartender was friendly and had great recommendations. Went for first time with wife and niece. Staff is nice but a little slow. Seemed harried but friendly. Had the Pad Thai with tofu, bento bulgoki, and beef fried rice. All was good. Great sushi restaurant just across the street from my hotel! The inside of the restaurant was adorable with plenty of seating options. The drinks were well priced and so with the sushi, with a variety of different cooked and raw rolls to suit anyone! The nigiri was a little on the pricier side. They also had several bento boxes and potstickers. The only drawback would I say is a lot of their rolls were overly saucy (aka a little Americanized) - still tasted great but some of the clean good OG sushi flavor was hidden. Service was good. Smelled like my grandmas house and was so dim lit and reeking of the 80s crying for a renovation. I had miso soup, crab Rangoons ginger salad and a California roll. The California roll was the equivalent of one I have had at Walmart, the rice was too sweet and almost soggy despite picking it up within 10 minutes of ordering it. Ginger salad dressing was just sad and chunky, mostly flavorless since it only covered 1/6th of the lettuce. The crab Rangoons were pretty much standard Chinese restaurant quality. The miso soup was the best thing which was just average. Overall not a high end restaurant as it appears and the environment just doesn't really feel like it suits Japanese food. She didn't really " know" the menu, as I asked questions (first time there) and she kept replying " I'm not sure". Restaurant review Although the parking lot was empty on a Sunday night, I was pleasantly surprised by our recent dinner at this establishment. As noted, I have tried other sushi restaurants around town and clearly, there is one that is my favorite. I selected the mixed nigiri set with a roll. They get a 5 star for amazing plating of the food, but the fish and price do not match the quality of another restaurant in town. I was surprised that one of the nigiri pieces was a smoked salmon, there was also imitation crab meat, tamago, and shrimp with only three pieces of true sushi. My son's bento box was great loaded with a variety of fried app items, however, the teriyaki sauce on the chicken was quite thick. The manager was super friendly and even came over to introduce himself. He mentioned that the Korean food is amazing here and we have not found a go-to Korean restaurant yet so we will be back for round two. Not only was I intrigued by the name of this place, but I was so glad I found this hidden gem of a sushi spot near our hotel. We dined here our first night, and though service was fairly slow, our food was great! We shared the sashimi dinner, 3 orders of salmon sashimi, a rainbow roll, and mafia roll. This was a good amount of food for two people to share, and the sashimi was excellent. We loved it so much that we ordered take out from here a few days later, without the rolls.
