Not only was I intrigued by the name of this place, but I was so glad I found this hidden gem of a sushi spot near our hotel. We dined here our first night, and though service was fairly slow, our food was great! We shared the sashimi dinner, 3 orders of salmon sashimi, a rainbow roll, and mafia roll. This was a good amount of food for two people to share, and the sashimi was excellent. We loved it so much that we ordered take out from here a few days later, without the rolls. Ambiance is so cute inside. I was very impressed. I didn't enjoy my sushi ( spicy California roll and spicy tuna roll) as much as I thought I would. But I did enjoy the veggie spring rolls. My husband liked the crab Rangoon. I was in town on a business trip and stayed in the hotel that shared the same parking lot. If I'm back in town I definitely would try it again. read more

My coworker and I decided to finally try this asian cuisine spot. I had the Bulgoki Bento Box and he had the Chicken Katsu entree with white rice. My meal came with soup, salad and appetizers (spring rolls, crab rangoons, pot stickers, and a 1/2 California roll . I chose the miso soup and ginger dressing on the salad. The meal was excellent. Lots of vegetarian options! I enjoyed the Vegetarian Sushi Set and Tofu Bibimbop. Just let them know whether or not you want the egg. They have Kampyo Rolls and Oshinko Rolls and the best Inari I've had. Some of the Sushi places in Fort Wayne do not carry Kampyo, so I prefer to get my Sushi here. I've had General Tso Tofu and Spicy Tofu prior and both were spicy and good. General Tso Tofu is probably my favorite vegetarian entree. read more

Ordered takeout here out of necessity while staying in the hotel next door. I remembered enjoying the food here last time I was in town. The crab rangoons were as good as I remembered, but I was wishing I had someone to share with, as half ended up going to waste. The pan fried noodles weren't much to look at but were apparently delicious.... I finished the entire box and was full beyond measure. This is a good option if you're staying in the area. And its fire cooking at the table was an unexpected fun surprise to my guest. The bento boxes were perfect. We did spicy chicken and chicken teriyaki. I wasn't a fan of the miso soup but that would not stop me from giving this place five stars. We were greeted with a friendly face, our server was attentive, Our food came out with an acceptable wait time. We went at 6 PM on a Thursday night and it wasn't very busy at all. Our fav was the sunset and spicy tuna roll. According to yelp, we got the playboy roll because it was the best but I think ours was burnt :X. It had a charcoal taste to it... I think the waitress put it on fire for too long... I was highly disappointed! Service - great! Our waitress was friendly and gave us enough time to look over what we wanted. How exciting to find a fantastic sushi restaurant right next to my hotel. This place has a casual bar and a nice dining room area. The service was fantastic. My waitress, Bri, recommended the Playboy roll saying it was a crowd favorite. A roll full of shrimp tempura, spicy tuna and other good stuff. Topped with shrimp and crunchies. It comes rolled in foil and they light it on fire at the table. She also indicated that the blue fin tuna was very fresh. It was so good I saved the last piece for my last bite. I'm a regular here and am always happy to have picked this place. On most days it's great, and even on the occasional off day it's still pretty good. My favorites are the salmon avocado salad, appetizer sampler (it's been the special on the chalkboard forever), Japanese pan fried noodles, and mango tango rolls (vegetarian!). The food menu is large and has quite a variety of Asian dishes, from not spicy to crazy spicy, whether you are a sushi fan or not so much. They have some nice cocktails available too - a bit expensive but delicious - and local DeBrands chocolate truffles for dessert. Decor is great for a date night, with white string lights, nice wood accents, and koi fish wall hangings from local clay artist Joseph Pelka. The driveway can be a challenge to find as it is behind the hotel and there is not much signage, but it's worth seeking out. read more

Not a bad stop. Came for a birthday lunch with my sister. Ambiance was excellent and service was prompt and very helpful. Menu is very diverse. Jack of all trades, master of none kinda of thing. If you don't like sushi the menu gets a bit smaller. Our meal varied from different parts of Asia, and to me they were pretty good, but to my sister who arrived from Korea, she said she could make some of it better. Came here for lunch with a big party and the server was great. Overall the staff was friendly and the venue was well kept. I ordered the Playboy roll because I noticed it was a popular one. Great presentation as it comes out on fire. Very yummy except I believe there was too much of the unagi sauce which really soaked into the roll and made it too sweet and overpowered the overall flavor of the roll. I also ordered the 'bulgoki' which I thought it would be similar to bulgogi, but the meat was very dry. There was a nice faint taste to it, but again the meat was dry and tough. Not going to judge the rest of the food though because everyone else in my party had some good looking food. I really tried not to mock the "just fresh off the plane" line since I do live in the Bay Area. The wait staff was fine and the Sushi chefs were great. I turned on my San Francisco charm and ordered a round of drinks to the chefs and everyone was having fun, especially my brother. Order the General tso's chicken. Bites were a bit tough, and definitely had better (2 stars). I also ordered the Crunchy Salmon Roll which is one of my favorite. I was very disappointed. While chewing on a piece I noticed something very tough and it tasted very fishy...and not good fishy. Tasted a second piece and that was it. Upon further questioning it had salmon skin. Love love love! I recommend the dolsot bibimbap! Mixed rice that comes in a hot clay pot, the best part was the crunchy rice that continues to cook on the sides and bottom of the pot. I do wish the booth seats weren't so cramped, but I guess that's what the tables are for in the center of the room. read more

Three point five - I've only been here once however I think their specialty rolls deserve an honorable mention. Coming here on a nice Friday evening was supposed to be a great experience, right? Wrong. It wasn't. I figured I'd order an appetizer because it was payday, might as well treat ourselves. The sushi was not fresh and tasted nasty. Other than that we still ate it. After we finished, our waitress decided to not come back for thirty minutes. We saw other people who came in before us get in and get out. Awful. We decided to head to the front which was where our waitress magically appeared after we had just thought she disappeared out of thin air. Omigoodness, the food and service here were so good! We came as a group of 12 and they were a bit busy so we had one server. He met every one of our needs single-handedly and then went a step further by making us laugh throughout the evening. The only issue we had is that two of our plates came out about 10 minutes after everyone else's food came.
