Although the menu is extremely small compared to other restaurants in the area, there is still a wide array of options for people who are vegetarian or not. The waiter was nice and fast. With an extremely small seating area it allows wait times for food to be shorter than other places I have been too. I would highly recommend calling ahead for parties over 4 just incase. If you are in the area and haven't been here I would highly recommend going.

Solid new ramen joint... Ichiddo just opened this week and we were waiting to try it... Definitely worth the stop. It's a super nice place (not huge) and reminded me of a NYC ramen restaurant. The service was good/friendly but slow, granted it's expected as they work out the kinks with business. The food was on par... We got the gyoza, crispy chicken ramen, and beef ramen = $45 with tip. Hope this place makes it, as it's FW's only ramen restaurant and has a lot potential. Dave Portnoy 7.4

    Spicy miso ramen.

I have tried this place a couple times now and I think it's delicious. I had the spicy miso ramen which was good. I do have to note that I prefer my broth to be piping hot when I receive it and it was just really warm. The broth was flavorful and expected it to be spicier. Service was pleasant. The atmosphere appears elegant as I noticed the touches of the previous chocolate business. My family really enjoyed the sumo figure up front.

They have done a wonderful job of remodeling the area from the prior owners. It's quiet and the booths are very private. The appetizers came out quickly and the gyoza sauce was a delicious ginger pairing. Edamame was your typical dish, could use some lemon on the side. Large portions and decent pricing. I had spicy ramen and had to add quite a bit more spice, could use a little more flavor but overall was good.

Shredded Char Siu fried noodles - A black, oval-shaped plate holds shredded Char Siu fried noodles mixed with sliced onions and green peppers, garnished with sesame seeds. The plate is on a white table with a menu or informational paper partially visible underneath. In the background, there is a smartphone, a black bowl with a spoon, and a person wearing a red and blue striped shirt. The setting appears to be a casual dining restaurant specializing in Asian cuisine.

It was a warm late summer evening, so a hot bowl of ramen wasn't the first thing to come to mind. Regardless, my wife and I headed on over as we've heard good things. The parking lot was full (a good sign) and as we were walking in, we could overhear people leaving saying "that was a good dinner" (another good sign) Relatively small establishment and we had to wait a few minutes. That gave us a chance to review the menu, which contained more dishes than what they advertise on the website. Service was good and attentive. They only snafu was that they didn't have any chilled glasses for my Sapporo beer...which was served room temperature at best. We had the Edamame and Chicken Bao bun to start. The Edamame was served warm which is our preference. The chicken "sandwich" had good flavor, but I'm pretty sure a McNugget would have beat it in size... FLAVOR... that's the first thing to say about our entrees. Fresh tasting and flavorful. We saved Ramen for a colder night and went with Char Siu Donburi and the shredded Char Siu Stir Fry noodles. The portions were just right for the price and were presented perfectly. We'll certainly be returning as the weather starts to turn colder.... Which also gives me the opportunity to try their warm sake. :)

    Yummy

Best ramen in the town, good and clean. Recommend to come for ramen. Tasty and yummy food

This restaurant's exceptional location is complemented by its elegant interior design and pristine bathrooms, creating a sophisticated ambiance. The menu showcases a wide variety of options, and the inclusion of pictures is a thoughtful touch. The appetizers are reasonably priced, and the availability of beer and sake is an added bonus. The sake is particularly noteworthy. Unfortunately, the portion size of the chicken stir-fry is very small. The red curry is both flavorful and fresh. However, the prices of the made-to-order courses are pretty expensive. Expect to pay $25 a person.

Very simple but classy ambiance with friendly staff. Very quick service and food was unusual for me but delicious! Crispy Chicken Ramen was very tasty and chicken was fried to order. Kimchi Ramen was spicy but very satisfying. I'll be back!

I was so skeptical about this place, but hey. First of all, I love the interior design--it's more modern than what Fort Wayne is used to. Second, the hospitality was great! We were greeted warmly, and the service was amazing. I tried two appetizers and the spicy kimchi ramen. It wasn't spicy enough for me, so the waitress kindly brought me extra chili oil. I'm definitely coming back to try more options, especially the fried rice.

Very soothing relaxing vibes. Came in for dinner and our server came over right away. She was very sweet and helpful as we had a few questions. We ordered chicken stir fry Raman and it was delicious. My hubby ordered crispy chicken Raman and loved it. We will definitely be back in.

Okay so first of all this place is Chinese…read more Now with that out of the way, let's get into the real review. Our waitress looked like she had a gun pointed on her head. Knowing my previous experience with Hana in Phoenix, AZ, that was already a big red flag. But in terms of the food, the only thing I find worth mentioning is that they make correct ramen. ...Yet it's correct in the same way that a groomed, mindless Asian student who spent all night memorizing a book to regurgitate its content on the exam will give you a correct answer. The food at Bimi Bistro looks and tastes like what one would consider ramen to be. Bone broth, ramen noodles, fatty chashu, droopy marinated eggs, etc. And yet, it's so bland and bloody BORING! It's like a "How to make ramen for dummies" book illustration coming to life. Completely devoid of any excitement or character. The very definition of mediocre. This extends to the appetizers like the takoyaki and char siu bun as well, unfortunately. Everything's as technically correct as it gets. It's actually uncanny how they could make food with all the right steps and ingredients, and yet so lacking in flavor. I didn't get to try the hibachi plate my friend got, but from the looks and his description, it seemed like it would've tasted like every takeout "hibachi" dinner ever as well. Personally, I would've preferred actually bad food at this point. At least I could write something funny about them. TL;DR Someone just learned how to make ramen, and opened Bimi Bistro.
