Yummy Bowl is jusy as yummy as its name suggests! A typical Mongolian grill-style restaurant, this place is the way to pick exactly what you want before your food is cooked and pile your bowl high. I usually get shrimp or steak as my protein, but they have chicken, pork, & tofu, too. Choose your noodles, rice, sauces, & veggies to make a balanced meal! We cant wait to return for more yummy food!

My husband and I were on the lookout for a new place to eat and some people told him about Yummy Bowl, and I'm so glad they did! The food was absolutely delightful! You create your own bowl so you get exactly what you want! Our server was very friendly, and she guided us through the whole process. (you'll see what I mean when you go) Great food. Great atmosphere. Great experience. Definitely will go back again!!!

I was soooo confused going in but it turned out really good! You are given the little red card when you get there to pick what rice you want and they give you a bowl. You fill your bowl with everything you want (as long as it fits in the bowl) and hand it to the chef who cooks it with whatever rice you picked. Was a great dinner for a good price.

Overall an amazing place. The service was fast even though it was pretty busy and they made sure to check up on the table numerous times and get anything you may need. I had gotten the miso soup which was a nice appetizer to then be followed by a yummy bowl I created myself. Both were delicious and relatively good pricing. I would suggest anyone going to not be afraid to add as much food to the yummy bowl as you like. It was a fun, chatty area that is great to go to alone but feel not lonely or to go with your friends. I will be going again soon.

The food here is amazing. If you don't like the flavor, you choose the wrong sauce. If you don't like the seasoning, you choose the wrong seasoning. You owe it to yourself to try this place!

Honestly perfect for when you can't pick just one protein because the mix and match potential is unmatched. I got mussels! And steak! And sausage! And octopus! Unfortunately my stomach is the size of a small ziplock bag so I didn't go for seconds, but I think the first bowl is $15 and the second is $5 and after that they're free? Don't quote me on that but this is definitely the place to go if you are a large boy/Olympic hopeful/Hungry Lad™. Crab rangoons were good too and a fried oreo is in my future. 10/10 can't wait

I love this place and am so glad we got one in Fort Wayne! In fact, I know it's very busy and popular in Indy. The interior is nice, clean, and spacious. The staff is friendly and very helpful, especially for first-timers. The food is great--everything was fresh. I also want to point out that the sushi is the perfect size with just the right amount of rice.

Yummy Bowl is the best thing to happen to Fort Wayne in a while! Delicious Mongolian bbq. Good, fresh ingredients and tasty sauces. I've had good Mongolian and bad Mongolian - this is very good. Also tried the sushi, which was fresh and delicious. Excellent service also! Top-notch. Will definitely be coming back - a lot.

Wow! This place is great. We went for lunch today. The staff was excellent. They were friendly and extremely attentive. Everyone in the group ordered a bowl and there were so many choices of veggies and protein not to mention sauces. Everything was top notch quality. I chose steak but they also had a delicious sausage to add that made this Mongolian entree different from any I have had and I absolutely loved it. I live in Orlando and I sure wish we had one of these there! For less than $13 for a plentiful lunch of this quality it can't be beat!

Knowing my previous experience with Hana in Phoenix, AZ, that was already a big red flag. But in terms of the food, the only thing I find worth mentioning is that they make correct ramen. ...Yet it's correct in the same way that a groomed, mindless Asian student who spent all night memorizing a book to regurgitate its content on the exam will give you a correct answer. The food at Bimi Bistro looks and tastes like what one would consider ramen to be. Bone broth, ramen noodles, fatty chashu, droopy marinated eggs, etc. And yet, it's so bland and bloody BORING! It's like a "How to make ramen for dummies" book illustration coming to life. Completely devoid of any excitement or character. The very definition of mediocre. This extends to the appetizers like the takoyaki and char siu bun as well, unfortunately. Everything's as technically correct as it gets. It's actually uncanny how they could make food with all the right steps and ingredients, and yet so lacking in flavor. I didn't get to try the hibachi plate my friend got, but from the looks and his description, it seemed like it would've tasted like every takeout "hibachi" dinner ever as well. Personally, I would've preferred actually bad food at this point. At least I could write something funny about them. TL;DR Someone just learned how to make ramen, and opened Bimi Bistro.

The bento box is a good bet if you're visiting Umi for lunch and/or you're dining alone. I was…read moredoing both! The lunch bento box is straight up hits: a California roll, shrimp tempura, vegetable tempura, rice and your choice of teriyaki'd protein (chicken, salmon, beef, shrimp or basa, a type of catfish). I chose salmon, which was cooked perfectly. The salmon was placed on top of the rice, so the rice kind of soaked up the teriyaki sauce and made it nice and delicious. My bento lunch came with a cup of miso soup, and it was so nourishing and briny, like only miso soup can be. So yeah. I didn't taste any of the sushi here at Umi, unless you count a California roll, which I don't. But they have lots of different types of rolls, nigiri and hand rolls. Umi also has a large menu of sake. So large, that I thought I would be remiss to not get sake to go with my lunch. The menu made me do it! So I got the chiku bai Nigori sake, and it was so smooth. Sake is served in a small pitcher with a small ceramic cup. I wasn't sure if the sake pitcher was supposed to be shared, but there was only one cup, and there was only one me, so I went for it. A sake buzz during lunch ... how extravagant. I visited for a late lunch, around 1:30 p.m., and I was the only person in the whole place. I got the full attention of the very nice server, who had 20 pens in her apron ("For when it gets busy and it's only me," she said, because I asked her why she has 20 pens in her apron.) The restaurant is tastefully decorated on the inside.
