I saw some pink ones that I really liked. An additional draw was everything was 50% off. I figured while I was there I could also find a new pair of jeans. When we arrived the displays were bright and cheery. I really like there sweater collection. They have several that I like, but i bought new sweaters last year so I'm not in the mode to buy a new sweater. Upfront we saw lots of nice christmas PJs. They also had plaid. All were flannel which was good as I wanted some warm winter pajamas. In the back they have just pajama bottoms. 99% of the ones they had on there website are not in there store. I was very disappointed. Online they have a larger variety. I saw a couple of pink ones that I liked. They even had some light blue ones with polar bears on them. The Chanukah ones even looked great. The sales lady was polite and offered to order them online for me so I could save on shipping. I thought of that, but I don't know what size I am and didn't want to hassle with having to return or exchange them. Plus their location isn't near my house, so returning it would require a drive all the way down the Delta Shores, deal with parking ect. Not worth it at this time of my life. They did have a nice collection of cute fuzzy socks. Next we looked at jeans. They have several styles, but not the color I wanted or the length From what I could see they don't offer short, or ankle length. Thus unfortunately I didn't get any jeans either. I guess we're off to Macy's to see if they have their pajamas in stock or if it's only on line there too. It may be the going trend, shop online. If that's the case I might as well shop on amazon, there it's 2 day shipping and free returns to the UPS store that's only down the street for me.

AdJ: Adorable Apparel with Variable Value and Various Variety…read more Babies and kids clothes can get pretty expensive. This Carter store is a long-time establishment in Elk Grove. When my kids were littler, I used to come here a lot. Now that the younger one has finally outgrown the largest size they carry here, I come here for gifts for baby showers. They always carry lots of different sizes from babies through toddlers to big kids, but especially items for babies and tots phases. Carter's clothes are all so cute, the patterns vary and the colors are all very brilliant and vivid no matter the print. From polka dots, to floral prints, to little trains and tracks, to spaceships, to dinosaurs and monsters, if you can think it up, Carter's got in as a print on their adorable apparel. The quality of fabric they use here is good too, mostly cotton b/c that's best for our skin, so especially for little ones' skin, I like to choose cotton. Some items are cotton/poly blends and that's ok for older kids I feel, like active and play wear. Their clothes w/blend fabrics help wick away sweaty wetness and definitely won't wear out as quickly or look as washed compared to cotton. But generally, I get cotton only for babies. They even have socks and little shoes here although the selection for shoes is limited, and that's ok, since they're not a dedicated shoe store. Their retail prices could be kind of high, so I don't choose the full-price items, but they put many items on sale and there's even clearance items for seasonal clothes that are being moved out of the store, so you can find good value there. As for service, I feel they let you browse at your leisure, but if you have questions, there's always someone there to answer, you just have to ask. Overall, I'm very glad that Carter's still in Elk Grove and right next to the Target and Michael's on Laguna so there's a convenient location too. Hope they stay for a long time to continue to be there for the Elk Grove and greater Sacramento community's kids clothes customers.

At the time, they were inexpensive compared to my other brands. With that being said, I was able to buy different colors to match what I was wearing. ;) The store itself is spacious and organized. The employees were friendly and helpful. There's lots of shoes to choose from. I like their flip flops. It's stylish, lightweight, and comfortable. I also enjoy their tennis shoes for the same reason. I now like their slip on shoes so I don't have to fuss with it. It's a great airport shoe addition!! Overall, a great store. Plenty of parking. It's in a shared parking lot with other businesses.

They looked amazing and I tried them on. They felt good and I thought they looked good. When I used them the next day. The tongue of the shoe hurt my foot really bad when I would lace them up. I called Red Wing and just like that Sunday when they showed me great customer service in the store they also showed me great customer service over the phone. They said I had 30 days to return them. They said to try them out for 2 weeks and see if maybe all they need is to be broken in. Like I said customer service was really top notch the store was clean the employees were super nice and friendly. Only thing I would say is that the work boots did get more expensive the most I've spent before was about 250. This time the bill was 320, They are good shoes and your feet are your money makers so you need good boots to protect them. Red wings is what you want.
