Don't let the Boot Barn employees tell you that the commercial discount only works for certain items only, it works for all items! Especially the location in Scottsdale! The location here is very helpful got asked multiple times if I needed help. Got a work boot for my Mom. The Lady Sydney was very stingy about giving the commercial discount to my Mom. She got a safety boot, socks and boot covers. She only did the discount for the safety boot only and told my mom it only works for safety boot. (Not true we've got the discount on all items in Wyoming, Utah, California and Texas.) We asked for the manger to get it resolved and at the end Sydney said she didn't know that it could cover for all items. read more

Lupe and Sarah were very friendly and helpful when I came in to make an exchange. Sarah even took the time to direct me to Mark to ask about boot styles. Unfortunately, when I approached him, the experience went downhill fast. Mark was extremely rude and dismissive--he barely acknowledged me, pointed at a pair of boots, and walked away. It was disappointing and unprofessional. Because of that interaction, I left and went to the Boot Barn in Gilbert, where the experience was the complete opposite. The staff on the floor there were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful. It really highlighted how important good customer service is. The selection here was fantastic with tons of price points and different kinds such as square, pointed, and rounded. The sales associates were very friendly and helpful as well as informative. Walked in to check out their selection of boots, but honestly, it was hard to even get to the boots as the rest of the store was so good that I forgot why I went in the first place. Ha! Hollister...I mean BOOT BARN lacks mens sizes in multiple categories. Sweaters only go to XL, Tees only go up to SMALLER XXL, less than 10 wide foot options in size 11.5/12, plus many more problems. I found only boot that was okay and it was over $260. Like how do you expect customers to keep coming back? The staff lady was nice but not helpful. As a large size guy, 6'3 & 300 pounds, I felt so fat in this store. All this store represents are the skinny twink men and no men with meat. Sad. Disappointed, fat shamed, etc. read more

That and some other shirts on sale for good deals made a happy trip in to this store. The staff is friendly and this must be the most clean and well organized Boot Barn I have ever been to! This place is pretty huge inside! So much to choose from.... I would only make 1 suggestion for them to maybe have a tall sized section or an easier way to find them... Most of the clothes done have tall sizes and if you're 6'4" and 220 pounds the only way to get enough length in normal sizes is to get a XXL but then it's twice as big around as it should be.... We visited this location yesterday to look find a cowboy hat for my 15yr old boy, Joshua. He had a western themed dance/party that he was going to go to. This was going to be his first high school dance. Louis was the sales associate who helped my son, fitting him with a hat. He was a very inspiring man who connected with my 6ft tall, introvert of a darling son. Next thing we knew, Louis was fitting Joshua for shirts, jeans, and some nice cowboy boots. We could see in Joshua's eyes and grin that a cowboy was born. He was into the cowboy style. I love watching my son smile. So, I planned to walk in with a $40 spend limit, but I happily walked out spending almost 10 times more for Joshua because Louis was such a great guy. Louis took his time with my son, teaching him core cowboy tradition for dress and class. Thank you Boot Barn for having Louis on your team. He truly knows his boots. This place is enormous! I couldn't believe how big the store was and how much western wear they had. I was primarily looking for jeans and an employee (can't remember her name) was extremely helpful. I couldn't find jeans that would work but I found a few shirts I liked. Unfortunately, the line was about 20 people deep so I decided against it because I needed to get home. There were only two cashiers. Saturdays must be pretty busy for them. Their boot selection wasn't as big as I was expecting with a location this large but this certainly has to be a go to spot for western wear in the East Valley. read more

They will pricematch any cheaper online price from their online website too just in case you get a great deal on there. But for the most part, prices were all right on. Well organized and clean. I will not be purchasing any more items from this business. I purchased two new pair of work boots at the beginning of the week. Both pair were very expensive $200 plus my total was $498.16 for the two pair I wore the first pair of boots the next day and they were awesome. I wore the second pair a couple of days later and they were horrible. I couldn't even wear these boots for 4 hours, my feet hurt so bad I had to take them off. They are the correct size but they have indentations on the inside that put pressure on the tops of my feet, I call this a flaw. Today I took the boots and my pictures back to explain they were hurting my feet and I was told that it says in large bold letters on every receipt, that if you took the tags off the boots and wear them, they are not returnable, refundable or exchangeable. When I asked to speak with a manager, they sent one of their children to tell me sorry, there's nothing we can do you'll have to just eat the $220 and such it up. They've proven to me, they really don't care about the customer if you have a legitimate complaint.. There are plenty of other sources to choose from and I will be moving forward somewhere else. Also, I won't be the least bit surprised when they're the next ones to shut the doors. read more

She was talking nasty to her employees and customers it was so uncomfortable employees seemed to be intimidated by her and embarrassed was shocked when I asked what her position was at Boot Barn. My family and myself have been loyal customers for many years. We will NEVER return to this location as long as Tracy is around.
